I LOVE this primer! I have oily skin, so I skip moisturizing, but I needed to use something to help fill in my large pores, and help my mineral makeup apply and stay better. This was it! It actually makes my skin look better just by itself, it minimizes my pores, makes my skin matte, but soft, controls oil all day, and my Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral Powder foundation goes on beautifully and stays that way, thanks to this product. Every other primer I have used broke me out within a day, but this one doesn't break me out at all! In fact, my skin has actually totally cleared up since I started using this along with Rimmels Mineral Powder & maybelline's mineral power powder foundation. This smells really nice too, and one of the few primers offered at the drugstore. I hope they never stop making it, I immediately went out and bought a backup tube...it will be a permanent addition to my makeup routine!
I love this primer for many different reasons. Before I invested in a proper eye primer, I used this and its did a pretty good job, and I am still impressed. On the face, it smooths out my imperfections and give a light, almost dewy finish to the face, and it doesn't come out orange on me
(I'm an NW25) , although I've read that on fair skinned people it comes out orange-ish. Overall it works really well to keep the foundation in place and I really really like this product
Wow this didn't work for me what so ever! The primer tinted my skin with a slight orange cast that caused my foundation to look off and orangey. It did nothing to make my skin look poreless and flawless like other primers I have used and loved. Actually enhanced my pores within 30 minutes of use. Sadly another product that I threw away!
This primer did a great job improving the look of my makeup. It kept me from looking too oily, evened me out, and made my makeup last all day. I wish I could wear it all the time! Unfortunately, it really makes me break out, so I've had to throw it away. If you don't have a problem with break outs, I recommend it.
i wanted to try a primer..but didn't want to spend alot of money:) so i bought this for half the price at walgreens:D and i use it as a primer for my eyelids and it really helps keep eyeshadows from creasing:)i haven't tried using it on my face though..it might give me breakouts..i don't want to risk it:)
3 lippies cause it's good as eyeshadow primer..it would be 5 lippies if only it's non-comedogenic :)
Rimmel cosmetics were 50% off, so I thought I would try this product for $4.00. I applied this only in my T-Zone only; it went on smooth, minimized my pores, and DID NOT turn orange on my skin. Actually, it gave me a healthy glow, and added some color to my light skin. It's slightly drying, and I apply tons of moisturizer and sunscreen before I apply the primer. Liquid, stick and mineral foundations will glide right on and stay put all day and into the evening. I am very impressed with this product, and I will purchase this again...
Not a fan of this. I have very fair skin - and this is orange. I don't really think I need to go into detail on how ridiculous this made me look.
I wanted a clear primer but i got this by mistake. It has a slight tint to it. The first few times i used it, it sucked up all the oil from my t-zone and i was really impressed. But now its not doing anything. It just stopped working. I don't know what happened. It definitely makes makeup go on a lot better but since i wanted something to control oil i wont be re-purchasing it.
I really love this stuff. I got it from my Grandma last year and I've been using it ever since. It is a very good primer, and very inexpensive. I used to wear mineral make up and this gave it the perfect canvas - for mineral, powder, foundation etc. This works better than Benefit's 'That Gal' and beats it by a mile, and at a fraction of the price. It does have a peachy/orangeish tone to it but once everything is blended in and it dries it pretty much disappears. It also has color to it because it's intended to even out your skin tone and make pores appear smaller. Bottom line, a very wonderful product at a great price.
This is a great primer. Although it does have a slightly (sort of peach) color straight from the tube, I have found that it works very well in increasing the staying power of my foundation. I have never noticed the color showing on my skin after it's properly applied. I've used this for probably six or seven months now, and it's one of my favorite (if not very favorite...cause I'm always trying new things) primers. It does have a slightly different consistency than other primers I've used...(for instance, it's not quite as silky as Smashbox Photo Finish), but it's still a great (drugstore priced) product.
