This is a good serum for oily, acne-prone skin. It's actually more aimed at healing your acne scars, which I found works (cos my scars have faded) but no immediate effects (as in it took a while- like it took an almost finished bottle) - I think it only assists in healing. However, when I put this on, I need a good moisturiser immediately as I feel like its drying out my skin but after moisturising, it's fine. I love applying it on my oily t-zone - dries it right out but not irritably.

Love this product! This is by far my favourite product in the Body Shop Tea Tree range. I can really notice a difference the morning after using this. My only criticism is that it's a little drying (although not as drying as the other products in this range), so I use a couple of drops of rosehip oil on my cheeks and nose after using it. Packaging is lovely, and dispenses just the right amount. Will definitely repurchase when I run out!

Okay, so I have to be honest, I have only used this product for a few nights so this review may need updating in future.. BUT, and this is a big but - in one night I have seen a tremendous change in my skin. I have quite bad hormonal spots and scars caused by a combination of meds for a thyroid problem and oily skin. Many of the reviews are actually claiming that this is by no means a 'miracle cream' and that they had not noticed a big change. In fairness the product doesn't imply to be a miracle product and if it were to do so I'm pretty sure The Body Shop would be selling it at much a higher price. The product does what it says. Blemish fade. Now depending on the extent of certain blemishes, the product is going to have varying results. And every individual is different and will react differently to the product.
I was pretty much at my wits end with my skin. Desperate for a product to make a difference. I have tried different products by leading brands and spent ridiculous amounts of money on skincare products despite being a student and not exactly having time away for Uni to work much. But after trawling the shelves in desperation of something that doesn't dry my skin or heartbreakingly make my skin break out even more, I have found a product that actually works for me! And believe me, even though I have only used it for a few nights, I have too much experience in skincare products and can usually tell a dud product after a day or two. If I have had these results after only a couple of nights, I can't wait to see my skin in a few weeks time. Love love love love love love this product!

I was looking for a good night time moisturizer to put on before bedtime. I stumbled upon this one at the body shop store. I was looking at their tea tree line of products and found this. I used to have pretty severe acne in my teens but my skin has been getting a lot better in the last few years. Overall, looking at my skin its difficult to say that I went thru a bad acne phase a couple of yrs backs. Current situation of my skin : I get a stray zit here and there usually before my period but it clears up quickly and doesnt leave any marks now. But i have some redness on my cheeks from my previous acne.
I have been using this lotion daily for the last 2 weeks and I am beginning to see that my skin is clearing up very nicely. The redness is almost gone. Yay!
BUT, I have to say that this lotion is a bit drying to my skin and after the first 2 uses, the skin around my nose flaked out! Ewww... (Although, i dont know if that was because of this lotion or the weather/ me not drinking enough water?). So, i use this at night and then use another layer of a light moisturizer on top of it. Voila! problem solved.
I want to see if it is effective in controlling new pimples as well.

Yes, it does sting a bit and the smell is a little overbearing but nothing a girl can't handle in her battle against acne. Hahaha

Y'know what? Pleasantly surprised. I've just used up my bottle of Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion and I'm really pleased, it did reduce marks on my face from old (not active) acne, took away acne scarring quicker than if I hadn't used it. I was nervous to put Bio-Oil on my face because I still have active acne. This product didn't help my zits, but it didn't "feed" them, either. I would definitely purchase this again- I'm a pimple picker and it leaves awful marks on my face, but this stuff definitely takes the marks away. Wish there they made a bigger bottle.

HG! It helped to prevent new pimples from forming and even out my skin colour! So wonderful and even now. I left
it for a while as I wanted
something to fade my dark marks, and I started breaking
out, and had even more dark marks. When I went back to this, my face went back to it's pimple-free state. However, oil control is only about 1hour plus. Highly recommended, though.

I asked for this for Christmas last year along with the face wash and spot treatment stick. Unfortunately all were a let down, but this one was the worst.
First of all, it did nothing to clear acne OR moisturize the skin. I have oily skin and it made my skin very dry and super flaky in the morning. It's expensive for the amount you get (I think it was about $18). I saw no difference in my skin besides the dry spots - no changes in acne or the redness in my skin tone.
Luckily, the lady at the shop was very nice and allowed me to return it, used, and without a receipt.

Stopped my acne and calmed my skin within a week of usage. Still need a moisturizer on top of it. Best to use when skin starts to breakout.

I was surprised by the fact that this was the only product which stood out to me in this line. It provides moisture, but it doesn't fade my blemishes. I really wanted this to work. As with all of the products in this line, it's heavily scented, and in my opinion, the scent isn't that attractive either. I'd rather use this as a daily moisturizer, because it's so light, and just not rich enough to be a night moisturizer. Remember, even though you have oily/acne prone skin, your skin needs moisture, or else it'll just produce more oily causing break outs. (Sensitive/dry skinned people beware)
