I am on my 4th bottle of this cream, and decided it's time to write a review. I love it, obviously, since I keep repurchasing it. It is a great moisturizer, but it doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It makes my skin very smooth as well and works great under makeup. My skin tone is more even since I've been using this cream, and I've been able to switch to a sheer foundation (ES DW Light). I haven't used concealer in at least three months, and I know it's because of this product. Another huge plus for me is that this is unscented. I have two complaints: The outer packaging is over the top and cumbersome, and probably adds to the cost of the product, and there is little to no warning when the jar is getting low, which has caused me to make emergency trips to the store to get more. Otherwise, I really like this. I wish it was cheaper, but I've been able to use my store coupons and I pay about $20.00 for this. I think the actual price is $25.00 or $30.00. I definitely recommend this, especially if you are over 40. It is now summer, and I just started using the version of this with SPF. I will review that separately at another time.

I read about how this is a good moisturizer when using Retin-A in a magazine about five months ago. I don't use it daily but I do use it on a fairly regular basis and I'm just now in need of a second bottle--and I will definitely repurchase. I didn't expect a lot from this moisturizer when I bought it. Like many others, I've tried regenerist products and just thought they were 'okay' and certainly not worth the hype. Additonally, I've tried a bevy of moisturizers that were supposed to help that dried-out Retin-A peely skin and did nothing. This one is really good at moisturizing skin without leaving a film, without causing acne and with a pleasant scent. For my dry yet acne-prone skin this has worked really well. I'm impressed, especially, with how nice my skin looks when I use it--very supple and healthy looking.

While I do like the Regenerist Serum, I just haven't been that excited about other Olay products I've tried. But I had huge dry patches, most likely from cold weather, so I went looking for a moisturizing cream. This was on sale and I had a $2 off coupon, so it was worth a try. Even with my dry patches, I was a little scared of the "deep hydrating" label but that turned out not to be true. If I had chronically dry skin, I doubt this would help. HOWEVER, it does work well as a normal moisturizer. After I got rid of the dry patches with jojoba oil, Renerating Cream has kept my skin supple and provides some protection against cold dry air without being heavy. The true test will be when the weather warms up, but for now, I would repurchase.

I have dry skin & picked this up thinking it would keep my skin well moisturized. Well I'm actually a bit torn because this is actually a very good product. It does sink in & moisturize but it's not enough for me. My skin is still dry a few hours later & if I want extra moisture, I have to put a few layers on in the morning. When I mentioned this to Olay, they told me that this particular product was geered towards Normal to slightly dry/combo skin. Regardless of which type of skin it's geered towards, it's a good moisturizer if your skin is combo or slightly dry but if you're battling dry flakey skin, this probably won't be enough. I wouldn't repurchace but I'd tell others to buy it & try.

To be fair I have only used this product twice. I bought it yesterday on a whim without checking here to read the reviews. Of course I did so as soon as I got home and I got a bit worried. I have acne prone, dry skin with a very slick t-zone. I've tried countless moisturizers over the years from high to low and and they either left my face slick, tacky or not moisturized enough. It is now 2pm and I have not washed my face since last night. Tsk, tsk, I know but I'm sick and have been in bed all day. I looked in the mirror a few moments ago and immediately thought, "Man, you look awful!" Then upon second glance I noticed that there was not an oil slick to be found. As an added bonus I also saw that my incredibly uneven tone looks much, much more even and those pesky little acne marks aren't nearly as prominent. I'm only 31 and don't have wrinkles yet so I can't comment on that. It's too soon anyway. I will update this in a month or so.

I'm in love - perfect day cream for me - perfect under my base and bronzer - and keeps me moisturized all day...and this is a major thing for me as I live in a cold climate and have very dry skin. For the price and the upscale packaging - its become a HG for me.

I've been please with Olay’s other Regenerist products so I was really excited to get this deep moisturizer for use in the winter. But after using Olay Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream for 3 days I noticed a large number of small, light colored, slightly itchy raised bumps covering my neck, temples and heaviest between and under my eyebrows. I discontinued using it immediately but it is now a week later and they are still there. I have never had skin problems or allergies in my life so I am at a loss for an explanation. I called Olay and they said they had no advice to give me except to use a cold compress and see a Dermatologist. I started putting some hydrocortisone 1% on the bumps yesterday in hopes that this will help them heal before I have to fork out more money for a doctor’s visit after having already paid $22.00 for the offensive product. I am very disappointed. Be Careful!

So, unfortunately this cream didn't do much for me. It's good at hyrdating but it's no biggie. I use the night recovery at night and that one is fantastic, but this one is just regular. I guess you may need regular for the day time, but it doesn't even have spf.
I use the serum in the morning this neutrogena spf 55 and then my makeup and I'm well hydrated. However, I do have combo to oily skin. If you want real good hyrdation try the night recovery that comes i a purple jar or jojoba oil, which isn't really an oil but a wax made of esters and other natural ingredients. I'm trying that out right now and it seems to be working well.
I won't be repurchasing.

I have tried so many moisturizers, both high end and low..and this is one that really does work of me. My skin is so much more hydrated and smooth. All the dryness and flakes are gone. I really notice that my foundation goes on smoothly. I like the perfect amount that's pumped out of the container and the smell is neutral for me. I will definitely purchase again, this is great for dry skin.
UPDATE* I took apart the bottle to see how much was left in it after is gave it's last pump. Actually I am surprised to see that there is almost nothing left..if I scrap really good, I can get at least one more application. Anyway time for my second bottle!

Olay has a great advertising campaign, but I don't feel the hype is warrented. In Britian, there were so many complaints about an Olay ad making grandious claims that it is banned from view over there. I agee -- have tried Olay's Regenerist products. I do not see any improvement whatsoever.
