This is a lovely pink blush for my skin tone. Doesn't look too fake, but gives me a nice bit of colour on my cheeks when desired. Like the other NYX blushes I have, I love this one - it is almost finished!
This is a great budget blush! I have a fair amount of red in my skin (I'm an NC15 with red undertones,) so I have to be careful with corally blushes. This one is dark enough and has just enough pink that it doesn't make me look like a tomato! It lasts a pretty decently long time (I used it nearly every day in college for a year and only just finished it). My only complaint is that it doesn't stay on as well as I would like, but then again, blushes never do. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin (I am prone to breakouts on my cheeks, and many drugstore blushes, like CoverGirl and Maybelline, make me break out!) I will probably repurchase this during my next NYX haul from their website.
Dusty rose is a good way to describe this shade of blush from NYX. It's a dark, muted rose color with a hint of plum that looks very natural on medium skin tones. I find that it blends very easily. This is a very pretty shade and one that's not too common. I would recommend this if you're looking for a matte rose-plum shade of blush.
This is a fabulous colour for medium skin-tones. 'Dusty Rose' has a slight mauve/plum hue to it which warms up my cheeks very nicely. It's very natural looking and compliments my yellow undertone. In terms of pigmentation, it is one of the more pigmented blushes that I have tried from NYX and the texture of this shade is alot better too. It's soft, smooth, finely milled and pressed rather firmly so it doesn't crumble when I sweep my brush over it. Despite being a matte finish, I didn't find this chalky and it blended out pretty easily too. It's easy to layer as well if you wanted a heavier look. Overall, pretty pleased with this in terms of both the colour payoff and texture on my skin. Would definitely repurchase!
I am fast becoming a NYX mania! Nuff said
Colour: a perfect mix of mauve&rosy pink
Texture: ultra smooth
I love how 1 layer gives u a sheer wash of mauve while a couple layers give u solid mauvey rosy pink. And best of all it is completely&gorgeously MATTE! I've never found other d/s matte blushes and here it is! It's very pigmented so I tap my EcoTools brush on it then blend it out.
Probs best for fair-medium to dark skin continued >>
I love this one...it's a basic, matte medium pink shade. And sometimes I find that a basic shade is really what I need! Originally, I had wanted to repurchase Cargo's Tonga blush. However, seeing how that shade is so common in almost every makeup line, I couldn't justify the expense. So I picked this up and I'm just as happy! Very smooth application...not grainy or chalky at all, and the pigmentation is just as good as my high end blushes!
This is my fav blush. It looks very nice on my complexion and it gives me a sort of "contoured" look on my cheek. I wear this when I smoke my eyes out or at night. Photographs beautifully.
I really like this color.Soft to the touch texture and color payoff is amazing. Better than some h/e blushers. I just wish that the pan it comes in was a little larger because of the size of my blush brush. Color is great in winter and spring. Definatly worth the couple of bucks and is easily blendable.
Very pretty, well pigmented blush that goes on effortlessly. It can be easy to go overboard with it, so use a lighter hand and build. This particular color is a warm rose shade but it's not a flat color- there's def enough pink in it to give it some punch and brighten the complexion. I really like to use this on more casual days when I don't feel like using more expensive blush. I guess it could fade more than other blushes but it's not bad and definitely a decent product at a lower price scale.
This is a must-have in their blushes! Im glad my friend referred me to this blush bc if she never did, I wouldve passed this blush up! Its perfect for school/work because its a natural blush color. Dont let the color fool you because you can lightly apply it & it looks great! Blending is effortless & the price is under 7 bucks, soo no complaining there. I firmly believe their blushes are comparable to MAC but just half the price! What girl doesnt love that?!!? NYX hasnt failed me yet & this one I fell in deep love with! Im NC30 in MAC btw. continued >>
