The smell is AWFUL! Totally unacceptable. Who cares about shine when your hair stinks to high-heaven? The smell DOES NOT go away for hours too. Glad I bought the teeny-tiny size from my local salon. Would allow my worst enemy to buy this product....well, maybe my WORST enemy ;)

I think that the actual product is great. But the price, packaging and smell are what ruined it for me. A small bottle packaged inside of a large cardboard version was a total dissapointment to find, after the $30CDN that I paid. I loved the shine that I had after using the spray but the smell caught me off gaurd. It's chemical smelling and potent as would get wiffs of it through out the day. I wouldn't purchase again as I think that there are products on the market that are just as effective for the same amount of money and use way less packaging to hype up there product.
I hate how expensive this product is, I paid 30$ Canadian for the small can, only to get home and open it up like a Russian doll to reveal an even tinier spray can. But it's a good product. My hair is looking better than it ever has, and I use Bb shine after I flat iron, it adds kind of a finish that no other spray seems to, Ive tried every shine spray out there, before Bb I used Fekkai shine spray, none seem to completely coat my hair with shine armour like Bb. It's a strange result, I can see how some people wouldn't care for it, because your hair feels artificial, and for whatever reason it makes my hair staticky, which has never happened before ever.
The smell isn't the greatest, but not nearly as bad as everyone seems to think, just smells a little chemical. I still love my Fekkai glossing cream, but Bb Shine is great to have for super straight styles, and in photos my hair looks unbelievable shiny. And naturally my hair is v. dry and not shiny at all, so I can only imagine how shiny your hair will become if you are one of those blessed naturally with healthy shiny hair. Have I used the word 'shiny' enough? It's lost all meaning.

I have to say that I've been using this product for quite some time, and it's my absolute favorite. It is the only shine spray that does not weigh down my hair. I use it day after day without washing and it always produces the same light, shiny results. The only thing that's pretty rough is the smell. Generally, I spray it on my hair and then run out of the bathroom to brush it out. Even for all of that, it is definitely worth it! I'll keep repurchasing....
I have never been this satisfied with a shine product before! Shine is super light weight and makes my finished hair look unbelievably shiny and glassy. I try not to use it every day because of the price, and this is my first bottle so I am not sure how long it lasts. I definitely recommend this product!
This is the best shine spray ever!! My hair looks like it has a spotlight on it after I put this stuff on. You have to be really careful though because you can definitely over apply. I love that it comes in an aerosol can - this makes smooth application way easier. The only real downside about this product is the smell.....there are no words to describe how disgusting the smell is. However, the smell completely vanishes after 20 minutes and you are left with super gorgeous hair!
I am normally a fan of Bumble and Bumble products, but this item is by far one of the worst items I have ever purchased and used from Bumble and Bumble. The scent is disgusting (one of the worst and grossest smells ever) as well as did not impart any shine instead it left my hair looking dirty, greasy and smelly YUCK.) Overpriced, smells putrid and does not work - would not recommend. I have found that the shine spray in a can from Biosilk works how I wanted BB shine to work. It gives me a nice healthy shine as well as has a very light scent and I paid about $15 for the can at ULTA - if BB shine did not work for you or is too yucky in smell, try the Biosilk.

HG alert!!! I have tried many shine sprays and none can stand even close to this, sorry. This makes my coarse, thick hair look like glass. And the shine lasted well into the next day. In fact, my next-day bedhead hair was super smooth and shiny. Very expensive but you can find it cheaper on ebay. Worth it, though, because it actually works very, very well. I have never been impressed with a shine spray before (Rusk, Frederic Fekkai, etc.)

I tried this on my hair after straightening as its easier to see results that way. Firstly.. CUTE packaging.. love the diva gold box (1pt) and can (2pts). Secondly.. RANK smell! Seriously.. WHAT the hell?? From what i remember it didn't last too long so i guess thats somewhat of a bonus but as soon as i was done spraying i had to run out of that spot! I didn't notice that much of added shine either, i gave it another go, not too much though and i noticed shine alright.. greasy looking shine (not the look i prefer to go for) Maybe i didnt get the balance right but i dont plan to try again.
It stinks ..litereally.
This product is amazing on my hair.
I spray it very lightly in a circle over my head just once and my hair actually looks like it has little light bulbs in it... and this lasts all day.
My hair is thick and coarse in texture.
The smell is horrible but it doesn't linger at all in my hair. But I do need to open the windows and the fan to air out the room.
Other than that... big YAY!
