For some reason, this shade is an brownish/clove/reddish shade on me. Not happy with the color so I mix it with other shades to make is usable. Very strange. The lip liner is very plum in comparison (which is what I thought this would be).

Bobbi Brown lipsticks are truly wonderful. The Raisin is a bit more plumish than I normally wear, but it is such a classic color that I reach for it again and again.

I love how it is a berry red color-its great for my mmm/light ggg skin tone. I wear it with plum l/l and burgandy l/g by bb. Great lip look for a polished evening face. It is costly to have all of it though.

Wow! I always stick to sheer berries for my PPP skin, but this is more matte than I'm used to...but it's gorgeous. I can wear it with brown eyeliner, or plum eyeliner. Great staying power, too. Will definitely repurchase.

I'm brand new, but I'm pretty sure I'm a GGG (my family's East Indian). Raisin is my absolute HG lipstick. Sold out at BB the last few times. Love it!! Not too matte, not too glossy, perfect.

A Great lipstick! A cool mauve, but neutral enough for any skin tone. Wonderful texture, moisturizing but not so moist it wears off. Leaves behind a beautiful stain that looks like classy and natural. A staple.

Love it! Brown based plum/red and quite neutral. Works well with my warm coloring. For me, this is a great YLBB color. Just deep enough, not shimmery, not glossy looking and wears well. A great every day lipstick. I'll get another when this one is gone! (Thanks, Michelle Z :))

I live for fall, and lip colors like this are one of the reasons. This deep red-wine-plum-brown warms up my whole face. It always looks polished without being overdone. Ladies who prefer MAC, take note: Just after I got this last year, I noticed its similarity to Del Rio, which I was running low on. Just for kicks, I put Raisin on the left half of my lips, and Del Rio on the right, and I couldn't tell where one ended and the other began. So when it comes time to repurchase, I'll have a decision to make, though all things considered I lean toward MAC. Until then, I'll be enjoying this one all fall and winter.

I don't like this brown/plum colour much. On the wrong person, it could look quite gothic. On me, it's ok if I blot it down a bit and put some gloss over it. I think this colour exacerbates the appearance of what is a dry lipstick.

I really, really loved this on my friend. I couldn't get to the store fast enough to get my own. I didn't like it on me. The color wasn't nearly as nice (even though she and I have similar coloring) and I thought it was dry and not lasting. I tried two other colors just to be sure, since I know they have a loyal following and I thought I'd try more. Didn't like those either. I think BB lipsticks in general are average at best and not worth the money. IMO, I don't think their shades are good either--a) they're limited and b) the ones i DO like don't look the same on, at all.
