I love this for two very particular reasons-- 1) it is an amazingly smooth, non-pilling base for concealer, and 2) it also works over concealer for mid-day smoothing. If you have trouble with your concealer fading, falling into fine lines (I'm 39) or clumping, buy this. It is expensive (like $45 US) but it is NOT the same thing as the facial Beauty Flash Balm and is completely worth it. I think the size of the tube is generous compared to other tiny-sized eye treatments. The only drawback is that you have to be careful when squeezing the tube because, like any tube, it is difficult to control the amout that is dispensed. WINNER!
LOVE it! I always seem to wake up with puffy, hungover eyes and dark circles. This instantly gets rid of the puffiness and it brightens my eye area which makes my whole face look better! Worth every penny!!

I am not completely satisfied with it, I can't really see any difference... I have been using this since December '07, hoping that it would reduce dark circles and hydrate my eye area. It does a decent job hydrating, it feels nice, but nothing to my circles. I also hate the tube, I know I'm going to struggle getting the last bit of product out in the end. Will not repurchase, so the search continues.
As for eye balms this one is ok. I do like the fact that it is non-irritating and can even put it on my eyelids. But it didn't do anything for wrinkles or dark circles, somewhat for the puffiness I get when I wake. What it is good for is a nice under eye concealer base. Makes my concealer go on very smooth. So I put my regular Renergie Microlift cream on, let it dry then put this on top before putting on my makeup. The little tube should last but it's too expensive to buy again if it doesn't really do anything.

Been using this product for almost a year and my verdict of it is just so-so. Doesn't lighten dark circle. Does't moisturise enough. I use it as an eye base before setting in concealer. Helps to minimise the dryness around my eye area.
Oh poo. I was really hoping that this would work. I think it does, but i havnt had much time to actually try it on only 1 eye. I put it in the fridge, because it so cooling when you put it on in the morning :) i gave this a 3 because it's still nice to put on. However i dont like how it so slimy. ew. i dont like putting slimy crap around my eyes (or anywhere else!) I think its over priced for what it is. Well, back to the drawing board to find another eye cream!
edit:
i tried it on one eye today and it works okay-ish it does brighten but i think ill stick to my ooh la lif by benefit!
I use this before putting my HG concealer YSL touche eclat - these two are the best combination for brighter & younger looking eyes.
I removed one lippie for it has no spf . continued >>

My no-buy is a low buy- in 2008 I am only buying when I run out of products. I ran out of eye cream for the day (at night I use retinol) and took a chance on a new product- this one.
Pros: Wonderful mu base. It does tighten my eye area and I do look more awake. If I don't have much mu on, I will also dab a bit on my outside corners at lunch time.
Cons: This isn't very moisturizing, but to be fair, it isn't meant to be used every day and I do get a fair bit of moisture from my night cream, so if I just wash with oil in the morning I am hooked up anyway.
Will rebuy. This is a "correct" product that does what it is supposed to. I get 15% off on Clarins so I don't even break the bank. I am breaking the rules using it as a daily cream, but I do like the way it makes me look awake. The price is right for me and cheaper than what I had been using (Dior or CDLM). For added moisture, I will stick to samples and shea butter and keep using this.
i recomend this for people who have mild circles as this didnt do much for me. im 17 and have been genetically damned with severe hereditary dark circles. i wont be repurchasing but will use all of it.
