I love this product - it makes my frizz prone hair soft and managable. I am completely in love with the smell, which is totally lush and will continue to buy this fab product!
i have given this a 4 as it think this is such a good product for the price you pay. i usualy buy professional products alternating between joico k-pak and redken all soft and treatments of the same quality obviously this doesnt compaire to the more expensive products but its still a good product for a good price! i will apply this to damp hair theen sleep with it on over night (wear a shower cap) to give it more chance to penertrate then i will wash it out the next day and it does make my hair feel very soft and conditioned!
My hair is dry and damaged to the point of breakage (due to being a bleach blonde!) so, obviously, nourishing it and keeping it soft and smooth is a tough job. I wasn't expecting wonders from this product, but I did expect it to be more effective than my usual conditioner.
It's a nice enough product, I loved the smell and the convenient packaging, but as a treatment it didn't do much and made no difference to my problems with dryness and damage.
I have now moved onto using a Pureology masque, which I feel is better suited to treating my hair woes, and am extremely pleased with the results. I believe that it's worth paying more for a better quality product if you need it. However, my hair is an extreme case so I think that people with less dry and damaged hair may get on well with this product, I just have reservations about how much of a 'miracle' it is!
NB: I second the review below about using a conditioner after rinsing this off. This is a reconstructing treatment and if used on it's own, instead of a conditioner, is likely to leave your hair feeling dry. I also agree that 3 minutes is not enough time for the product to penetrate the hair. It would be helpful if Aussie gave more detailed usage instructions!
As a weekly deep conditioning treatment I rather like this, but as a three minute miracle cure? Not so much.
If you have hair that is about as dry as Sahara, do pick up a bottle of this on your way home and the moment you step through that front door wet your hair and apply a generous amount of this and wrap it up in a towel or something. Let it be for an hour or two like that, then wash it out and follow with your ordinary conditioner. Used like this, it is a marvel in a bottle. It leaves my hair so soft, and moisturised, and well behaved, and easy to style. Oh, and so shiny and healthy and bouncy and full of volume. The problem is, you really do need to follow it up with some kind of conditioner that gives a bit of slip to your hair or you will end up with hair that is sort of...not dry, nor exactly sticky, but more like...rubbery. I guess that is the best way to describe it. Rubbery. It doesn't always happen, but sometimes it does. Mainly when I use lukewarm water to wash it out with. With warm water, it seems to give better results.
As a three minute cure? Worthless. Literally. The oils in it does not have time to do their magic in so little time. Nor does it coat your hair in slippery goodness, to at least fake it. No. It is just washing money down the drain using it like this, especially on tailbone length, fine hair that needs a lot of it.
So, as a deep treatment to give back shine and moisture I do recommend this. Just remember to wash it out with warm, almost hot water, and to follow up with a lighter conditioner afterwards to give your hair some slip so you can brush it. Don't buy it as a three minute miracle cure...for that, you generally do need something that is very heavy on the silicones instead.
Price wise it is on the expensive side for what it is and the result. Some pure safflower and jojoba oil pretty much works the same, put a few drops of your favourite oil based perfume into the oil mixture and voila. Much cheaper. Though, I find this does not weigh my hair down as much as a real deep oil treatment can.
As for the packaging, I find it annoying it does not have a proper cap, but rather a rubber lined hole through which the product is squeezed. Since I use this only once a week, if even that, I would like something that really shuts securely. Plus, I tend to prefer tubs of some reason for deep hair treatments. Mainly because it is easier to get every last ounce out of them.
On a parting sidenote, this smells SO NICE. Really nice and sweet. And the scent lingers and lingers and lingers until I wash my hair again.

I absolutely adore this product -
1) It smells divince
2) The consistency is nice and creamy without too much water which makes application a dream
3) After using this, my hair feels incredible. Absolutely incredible - my hair feels bouncy because it's incredibly clean at the roots, and the roots of my hair are nicely covered.
I will continue to repurchase this over and over. For the price? It's ridiculously worth it!
I don't know whether it's this conditioner or the "Aussie Luscious Long" shampoo I use with it, but my hair has never been worse! Dry, frizzy, crispy and without any shine!
The only good thing about it is the packaging. I love how you squeeze it without worring about the cap.
I will never repurchase this or any Aussie product and I don't recommend it to anyone!!
Although my hair would not be in the catagory of being "severely damaged", I tend to get split ends easily and i usually HAVE TO get it cut at least every four weeks. I know the recommended is every 6-8 weeks but my hair splits so bad that i can't usually wait. Enter Aussie 3 minute miracle Reconstructor- my hair is in the best condition I've seen it in a long time! Two years ago I had very short/bob hair and now thanks to this stuff it staying healthy and not requiring as much snipped off each time i go to the hairdressers. LIFESAVER!
I got a few samples of it as a gift from a foreign friend three years ago and it changed my hair so radically - people were asking what had I done with my hair, 'cause it just looked so good - that I just HAD to get some more. Unfortunately Aussie products are not sold in my country so getting my hands on it again took a long time.
I am very, very disappointed and unbelievably unhappy. I have no idea whether they have changed the formula or my hair just does not like Aussie any more (tried Smooth Mate shampoo + conditioner, too, and they made my hair look like straws). The product did absolutely nothing good - it dried my hair out and made the scalp itchy.
I give it two lipsticks for awesome package (undoubtedly the best and most economical I've ever seen), texture and smell.
This is the best conditioner I have used thats keeps my otherwise thick dry hair, soft and nourished. I use this conditioner to co-wash every 3 days to keep my hair soft and healthy. The combination of ingredients smells lovely and reassures me that its a great benefit to my hair.

This is a very nice conditioner; the good points are that it smells lovely (like Ugg boots which I couldn't stop smelling when I bought them!! Maybe it's an aussie thing?) and made my hair really soft! It feels nice and healthier too. It comes in an easy to use squeeze tube too which makes it very convenient. This product is a bit expensive but I would pay the price for it again!
