I have this in #0, which is supposedly the lightest, so I'd be scared to see #1. It's not really very light, and it has a lot of red to it. I'm a strawberry blonde, so that's okay with me, but I still use a taupe pencil to go over the tails of my brows and take away some of the redness. It's a very thin consistency, which is great because it doesn't get thick and cakey like powders can. It lasts really well, but if I'm particularly oily that day, it does smudge a bit. It's the best thing for now until something else comes along. I'd like it better if the color weren't so red.
My eyebrows are naturally very light blonde. I used to have them dyed but the color would only last 1 1/2 - 2 wks. I hated going to the salon so often or having someone come out to my home to do this. I tried pencils/gels/ hair mascaras but they all looked overdone and did not last.I found this wonderful product at Sephora a few years ago. The tube lasts forever if close it is closed properly. Only a tiny bit of product is needed and must be applied before any other products (sunscreen,foundation,... etc). I apply it w/ an angled eye liner brush, let it set, and brush it lightly upward for a natural look. I am careful not to put anything on top of this as to not dilute the color/length of wear ( I use "0" - lt. taupe/. blondish color). This has lasted through 18 hrs. of work, running a 10K, and swimming a couple of miles-- I forgot to remove it. The little tube is approx. 19.00 USD but lasts a long time-- have had mine for 2 yrs.
Because I'm active outdoors, staying power is just as important as a color match. Because I'm fair and have dark hair, my bare spots are noticable so they must be filled in if I want to perfect the existing shape of my brows for a polished look. This is how I rate this product in the order of what is of highest priority to me:
Staying power - 4: I have oily skin and I always work my eyeshadow primer down into my skin under my brows before I apply brow products. On me, this product will stay in place using this method. I do some heavy cardio and my brows will stay on if I don't rub them repeatedly.
Color - 4: I am a dark brunette with partial carmel highlights. I use the #2 color mixed with a tiny bit of #3. Perfect. Remember, it is better for most brunettes to go a little lighter than their natural color to avoid a harsh Mommy Dearest look. If I use only #3, it's a perfect match, but looks too harsh.
Realistic appearance - 5: If applied as below described, it is fabulous. I get compliments every week.
Application ease - 5: There is no tugging on skin or precious existing hairs. I apply with a super-fine-edged sable angled brush. I place one dot of #2 and a super tiny dot (pin head) of #3 and mix together on a saucer. Dip brush in mixture, blot brush side-to- side on saucer to maintain flat edge on brush and remove excess product. This fine edge will lay down the product so that it mimics the shape of fine hairs. Apply quickly as the product does dry fairly fast. I brush my brow hairs down before applying to reveal my natural shape AND to allow product to reach my primed skin beneath. This allows maximum contact with primer and increased longevity. I live in TX and if the weather is going to be over 100, I will also apply a brow powder (Estee Lauder) on top to help "set" my brows and fortify the longevity against heat and humidity. If I use just the brow powder, brows are gone by 3pm! When I apply as above, I get a long lasting (thru workouts) application that looks natural. If you go too dark in color, this application will be too harsh. I have used brow products for 25+ yrs and have found that this product will outlast (while looking natural) all the other pencils and powders that I've tried. A super light touch with a good quality brush is essential so that it can be applied skillfully. This technique will both fill in bare spots as well as actually create a brow for those of you that are missing sections of it such as the tail. As we get older or have medical treatments, our brows do tend to thin out considerably. Other decent products to try are MAC's Crayon (fine tipped,) Dior's Powder Pencil, Lancome's Pouder Pencil, and Givency's Eyebrow Show.

Although this is now my go-to eyebrow filling product, it does have one main flaw for me. It lasts great all day during a normal work day but it will not last through a sweaty workout. Other than that, I really like it! It's very pigmented and a little goes a LONG way. Depending on how heavy handed I am that morning, I can make my eyebrows light and a little more natural looking, or I can make them dark and really defined. I use #03- I'm Asian, dark brown hair, light-medium/medium skin, very sparse brows. My brows are so sparse that I have to fill them in every day or I feel self-conscious. I use this with my Bobbi Brown angled brow brush. A lot of people say to use a pinhead amount, even that is too much. I waste a lot of product because I squeeze a little too much out and I just wipe it away. But for $19, it's not that big of a deal. I don't foresee me running out of this any time soon. Definitely recommend this!

I bought a tube of this stuff in 2006 and STILL have product left in the tube. It seems expensive when you first buy it but it lasts FOREVER. You only need a tiny, and I mean TINY, bit each time. I applied this by squeezing a dot size amount out of the tube and using an angled eyeliner brush to fill in my really sparse brows. I used the dark brown color and it looked pretty natural on me. The only problem I had with this product was that it faded after a few hours (I have oily skin) and got sort of a shiny look to it from the oil on my skin. It literally looked my painted-on eyebrows were "melting" off. I also found that it wasn't as waterproof as I would have liked. I stopped using it after a while because I got scared that my eyebrows were just gonna get wiped away if my boyfriend hugged me or something. I am now using a CoverGirl pencil eyeliner to fill in my brows and Model in A Bottle Eyebrow Sealer on top, which is a miracle product for me and it's waterproof, sweatproof, etc.

And finally I found it!! after years and years looking for a good waterproof product for my eyebrows... and here it is!!
Today I have spent the day in the pool and my eyebrows look the same after swimming and diving. Also, once you learn how to use it, it looks really natural. I use MAC angled brow brush and put very little product and fade until I get the desired shape. It is very easy to blend but you have to be fast before it dries. All in all, this is my definite waterproof HG!

I have this in #0. It is the lightest color they have, and will likely be too dark for many people with lighter hair. This is supposed to be a light taupe brown, and in the container, looks light. It comes out much darker than you would expect. I have light-medium neutral brown hair...and finding a brow product that doesn't go orange or red on me is a challenge. This one is nice and neutral, and does stay on really well during the day. Also, I have seborrheic dermatitis in my brows, and this helps to withstand that during the day as well. As I find with many MUFE products, a little goes a long way, and the same is true for this! I just squeeze out a small amount from the tube, and apply it directly to the angled eyeliner brush I use to apply it. I then lightly run my spoolie brush through and maybe wipe a spot or two with a q-tip. It looks pretty natural, and yet it able to lengthen my brows where I need it (my outer sides are a little short). This product is great, and lasts a long time!
This isn't as waterproof as I would like it to be- it does fade after sweating or swimming- but it is more waterproof than any other brow product I've tried. It also looks very natural. I'm Chinese with dark brown hair and I use shade 03. It does take a little practice to get the brush strokes looking natural though. The trick is really to use minimal product at a time and to use light strokes. All in all, a good product! Because so little product is needed for each application, the tube will probably last a loooonnggg time.

I'm a self-proclaimed freak when it comes to long-wearing, waterproof makeup! I'm lazy and not fond of retouching up my makeup, I wanna put it on, have it looking shmexy, and not have to worry about it all day. I love this product oh so much it has completely replaced & erased all memory of my previous "long wearing" brow pencil, wait..what brow pencil? Probably HG status. I love how unique & innovative this is. Btw, got this in shade 3, I currently have dark brown almost black but am thinking of dying it black, brows are naturally an ashy light black color and tan skin.
FINISH:
Absolutely bea-u-ti-ful, looks like I have naturally exquisite brows (just don't over do it), professional looking, my sister was like "Geez, your brows look legit, what'd you use?"
LASTING POWER:
Longest lasting product I've ever used on my brows, no smudging or budging whatsoever. Stays on the whole day!
Don't hesitate to buy this, it sells like Pokemon cards used to, in other words it sells out fast. You will not regret, I mean, for the quality, the amount you get, and the brand $19 isn't so bad. continued >>
