This is a great lip balm. I used to use Carmex but i couldn't stand the smell, and it was also supppperrrrrr thick. All though, Carmex did moisturize my lips soooooooo well. The other day i was at Riteaid and i saw this lip balm and i decided to try it bc i wanted something just as good as carmex but without the gross smell and texture.
I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This lip balm moisturizes soooooooooooooo well and it has a very faint vanilla smell. (i can hardly smell anything at all in this lip balm). Also, the texture isn't heavy at all. It glides on your lips effortlessly, and coats them in one swipe. LOVE THIS!<3 continued >>

i find that this is a good, cheaper alternative to Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, and works almost just as well. the feeling is not as waxy as Burt's Bees' and it seems to slide off a little easier, but otherwise keeps my lips hydrated and soft. the scent is mild and a little plain (almost like a boring version of vanilla ~ if that is at all possible), but it's not unpleasant and it works.
When I first used this, I didn't really like it. It has somewhat of a plain smell, waxy or buttery or something... It's an okay balm, and it doesn't make my lips feel super moisturizing, it doesn't dry them out either. It's just kind of blah, I guess. Nothing special at all. I mainly only use it when it's sitting near by and am too lazy to reach for another lip balm. I won't be buying it again.
I have been using this lip balm alone or under my lipstick for about three years now. I try different kinds with SPF before , but always come back to this one. It's very moisturizing and it "heals" my chapped lips in the winter which I really don't have when I use this lip balm. Great product over all but I took out one lippie because it doesn't have any SPF in it.
I love this.. my lips are normally horrible and always chapped, i've tried so many things and nothing seemed to work. Just a week into using this stuff my lips are healthy and hydrated. You can put it on in the morning and it'll keep your lips hydrated for nearly the whole day. It doesn't look greasy either. You can also go days without it (maybe more i dont know - like i said my lips are quite dry) unlike a lot of other treatments where your lips would go dry if you dont use it one day.
i didnt like the smell of the cherry chapstick anymore so i decided to give this a try and it smells sooooo great and feels awesome..i cant remember the last time my lips were chapped...it works better than the medicated one....i wear it underneath my lipstick or lipgloss all the time..its worth the few dollars!
This stuff is ok. It hydrates pretty well and stay on quite a long time. The smell is a little weird to me, it smells like butter. Actually the funny thing to me about this chapstick is it smells, tastes, and feels the EXACT same on my lips as Crisco does (which I also use sometimes) so considering that, I'd probably rather use Crisco considering it seems the lame on my mips to me as this but it's cheaper. Overall, its a good product but I probably wouldn't buy it again cause.
this chapstick hyrdates my lips but it goes on real thick. I have to wipe some off after i only pass once on my lips.
I really like wearing this to bed at night and applying it before my lipliner and lipstick, I carry it in my make up bag and then put it beside my bed when I'm sleeping. Great balm. Especially nice if you dont want much scent or flavor just moisturized lips.

firstly: this review is for the "chapstick 100% naturals botanical medley" member of the chapstick all-naturals family because i think there are several different versions.
wow, this is definitely the best lip balm out there. I've tried everything from blistex to molton brown and this beats them all. It's a hard-ish balm made from natural oils and butters that softens and smooths up once you apply it to your lips and gives them a kind of sheen that's very pretty and less than an all-out shine, which i like. it also moisturizes very well, much better than the other, artificial-ingredient chapsticks. i find that if you want more of the sheen than an all-out shine, use the balm hard (ie when it's been in a cool place), which i prefer because it's also less slippery, but if you want a very glossy finish, warm the balm up (like in your pocket or next to your laptop) and it goes on slicker and very shiny.
i also use this lip balm as a base after exfoliating my lips and before applying lip gloss, and it makes my gloss go on much smoother and more evenly. love it!
