Edit-have been using these as cream blushers these past weeks.. the product is perfect for that as it ladts all day on the cheeks n blends nicely when u apply it. I love this-for about 15 min max. i have it in icon which is the perfect MLBB and a cool pink that I forget the name of. The problem with this is, with or without lip balm, this will only look good for a max of 10 min, after which your lips will inevitably look wrinkled, old, and start to flake. I haven't had this issue with any other lip product except for Maybelline Color Whispers. It also looks patchy very fast. I have had this for months so I know for sure the product sucks.
I don't really understand all the negative reviews, I love this! It has the best packaging and it clicks as you roll it up which is quite helpful, the plastic is not tacky and very, very strong. I bought one in Couture which is a reddish berry shade and I adore it. Most people are complaining about dryness, seriously? Have you never heard of lip balm?! It lasts pretty long.

Got this in Finale and was hoping for a long lasting, non- drying formula. Colour went on well but became more garish as day went on or perhaps it just seemed that way as all trace of colour on the inner part of my lips disappeared so was left with a bright outline. It accentuated the lines around my lips and bled into them.
Good- colour was nice, felt nice going on and packaging is ok.
Bad- not long lasting, feathers into lines, was quite drying.
The best way to use this is to put the first layer on, put a little powder on it and put a creamy lipstick on last. The color stays on most of the day and the Color Stay will leave a nice even stain on your lips
I was surprised by how much I actually liked these lippies. Typically, I abhor Revlon lipstick. I am reading lots of these negative reviews include the word "dryness", so I'll share how I get around that. Are you ready? It's a secret and magical tip....called LIPBALM.
I use a tweak of a waxy lipbalm beforehand and have yet to suffer the dreaded dry lip with these lippies. It also helps if you exfoliate your lips with a scrub beforehand. I enjoy the two colors I currently own: Backstage and Supermodel.
Backstage is a berry-red and it's my preferred 'red lip' look, which I find to even be office appropriate.
Supermodel is a pinkish brown and very similar to my naturally pigmented lips.
I love this product. the negative ratings really suprise me, as this lipstick is the best compromise between longwear and comfort I have found so far. At first when i tried the product, I was very confused, as when you apply it comes out balmy and sheer. After applying a few coats and leaving it for a few minutes, the product began to dry. When the shine dies down the colour was much more beautiful...in my opinion, though i always think matte colours look nicer. Once it is dry, its stays slightly tacky, which doesnt bother me at all. You can definitely feel it on your lips, and it doesnt have that lovely rub-your-lips-together buttery softness some lipsticks do, but i consider this a good thing, as you cant move the colour around or wear it off.
Other reviewers have said it shows up the lines in their lips, and I suppose this is true, as it becomes like a second skin and you see the lines and wrinkles jut as you would if your lips were bare. One this it does not do for me is bleed, which is fantastic. It then stays on my lips almost without fading for many hours, though it needs a touch up in the middle when you eat and drink.
I have finale, which is red with orange tones, and couture which looks very similar in the tube but is a slightly deeper red with a far more pinkish berry undertone. Both are buildable, which is fantastic if you want to wear a less intense red lip during the day.
there are lovely lighter pinks and corals in the range and I cant wait to purchase some.
Today I bought Ultimate Suede for the first time only because Colorstay Overtime line has been all but discontinued. I've had it on for about two hours now and it has dried up, faded somwwhat and gotten all cracked making me look like a creasy, eighty year smoker. I just wish they'd bring back all the great Overtime colours they used to have, it was a great line that performed amazingly well without creasing or fading and really lasted all day. Please bring back Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor, PLEEEEEEEZZZZZZ! I am going to have to bite the bullet and open wmy wallet and try some of the premium band long wear products, Revlon, I'm really getting sick of you.
My mom got this in Finale, it didn't look like she tried it on so I did and it didn't take long to realize that this sucked. I feel bad that my mom spent so much money on a crappy lipstick. It's sticky and tacky even when it dries. It looked patchy on my lips and was made worse every time I licked or pursed or rolled my lips (together). I didn't mind not seeing shine but that just exaggerated the dry formula. None of it seemed hydrating, even applying the lipstick didn't feel good. It's too bad. I really liked the color, and because I didn't see a shine, it looked like an awesome stain! Unfortunately the formula was just too horrible to deal with.
Not a fan. Somehow this lipstick, which looks quite pretty in the tube, manages to be both sheer AND drying-- not quite sure how they managed that feat. It emphasizes the lines in your lips creating an unflattering finish. To add to its drawbacks, it tends to change color on, (oxidize?), and becomes a more garish orange. I guess you get what you pay for, (or not, as the case may be).
Very unflattering finish. Personally I found this made my lips look dry and lined. The finish is fairly sheer for a long wear lipstick and even after it dries the lips feel tacky when they press together. I find it wears quite unevenly. The longer I have it on the more it looks patchy and lined. Some of the colours are good but the overall look is very unflattering. Sorry Revlon, you've lost me with some of your latest offerings.
