i found this mascara to perform no better than a $2 mascara... which suffices to say i'm sorely disappointed considering this one costs $28. i didn't find that this added any significant volume to my lashes (which is what this mascara is marketed to do) although it did clump a few of my lashes together. it did seem to add a smidgen of length and it did make them appear blacker though. however, it also took the curl out of my lashes unevenly and left some looking as if i didn't bother to curl my lashes at all. then, to add insult to injury, it began to flake almost instantly after application, then graduated to smudging after 3-4 hours. it's a unimpressive no go for me.

I got this in a gift set along with other wonderful Lancome products and This is a good mascara. It volumizes, and separates. Lancome always delivers when it comes to mascara. The only reason I wouldn't purchase this is because I already have my HG mascara and I will stick with that until I find something better.

I received this as part of a gift set. It not only was clumpy but started to flake off shortly after I applied it. I would not buy this product.

So Im a little confused by all these negative reviews. I got this mascara as a free sample yesterday with my purchase and I gotta say I used it today and its a great mascara. It didn't clump on me at all, I think the brush might be tricky for some people but other than that I thought it was a smooth sail to long lashville. I do think its a little expensive 30$ for mascara a a bit steep but other than that I have to say this was a great mascara, I definately recommend that others give it a try.

Ugh what a waste of $$. Gave me have the worst tranny lashes ever. If you have long lashes you are guaranteed to end up looking like a spider... Or a tranny. Or both

clumps, lashes falling out and no hope of reaching anyone at customer service in Lancome to return. Terrible overall. Don't buy.

I received this mascara as a GWP last week, which was ideal because I've found that products on MUA that are rated around 3 lippies will tend to have people that hate it, or love it. And I didn't want to buy this $28 mascara and end up throwing it away.

I applied this mascara with low expectations, but my goodness!! This was actually a great mascara!! After applying it to one eye, I sat pleasantly surprised for 10 minutes and just admired how dramatic, long, and thick my lashes were. Realizing I was about to be late, I hurriedly slapped it on the other eye, and it turned out just as nicely as the other eye! It builds quickly and I can finish my eye makeup in half the time, instead of having to painstakingly apply my favorite Full n Soft. My only complaint is how unnatural my eyelashes look, yes it is possible to have natural looking dramatic lashes, but mine just look a little too clumpy and spidery to be worth buying this.
Combined with the price of my lash primer I buy from Lancome, I feel like spending $70 for mascara is far too much for me, and I must continue my search for a HG dramatic mascara. So close.

LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE this mascara !!!!!!!!!!omg trust me I have tried my share of high end brands and lower end brands (diorshow,mac,other lancome,tarte ,korres,smashbox,clarins ,maybaline,loreal,revlon....just to name a few )but this one by far beats them all !!! Mega volume length and separation . I have blond eyelashes and not a lot of eyelashes it seems to the naked eye ,but when I put this mascara on (and only one coat at that )it transforms my lashes into beautiful feathers lol thought it is a little pricey but it is totally worth it if u want drama and separation ,curl,volume ..it is amazing !!! I got this mascara for Christmas, and it's probably either the best or second best mascara I've ever used. It gives good volume and length, and dries soft enough to layer really easily.the formula is thick but not so thick that you end up with a bunch of clumps, and the brush gives a lot of seperation and makes your lashes look feathery and soft:)
I've only found two downsides to it, the first being that even though it will stay on flawlessly for most of the day, you have to start reapplying a little to the ends when it gets late because it flakes off (which is true of most mascaras but still.) Also, I was kind of hoping that for the price it would last a little longer. I guess about a month is fine but because of the formula I don't have to use as many layers of this as I do other mascaras, so I didn't think it would run out so quickly.
Overall though it's a really fabulous mascara, and I plan to buy it next time Lancôme has a freebie deal
