I picked this up when I couldn't find Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Barely Beige. I'm impressed! It's strongly pigment for a light shimmery shadow, so great color payoff. The texture is lovely, very smooth & easy to apply with just your fingertip. It's very brightening, without being too shimmery. By the end of the day, it looked as fresh as when I applied it in the morning. My new eye color love!
I was searching for Maybelline's Color Tattoo "Barely Beige ",but could not find it at all (finally got it on ebay) Anyway, I thought Iced Latte would be a suitable sub, and it isn't too bad. I love how sheer and creamy it is. I had lunch with my 25 year old daughter, and she loved how it looked ; I lined with a Rimmel pencil, and she thought it was a great natural day look. Need to experiment with it more! EDIT: after using Maybelline Barely Beige and BOOMstick in Glimmer, I gave Iced Latte to my daughter, who loved it and is more suited for a powder shadow then I am.
Instant eye brightening. I love the sheen to this and it's wonderful texture. I have found that it works best for me when I pat it on with my finger tips. I love using this in combo with amber rush and a very black tightline. Beautiful.
It's a good formula and nice color but i still returned it. I just bought into the hype but i have many other colors which are the same and i knew this would end up in drawer heaven. Its a nice color. The cap and packaging made me know that i wouldn't reach for it often since you have to put that cap back on or else it will dry out. Im still tempted by these because they have such great reviews all the time, but i know realistically i will most likley always reach for an easier product (palette/or snap open eyeshadow) when im in a rush or going out.
Sooo, product itself is good, packaging is pretty but not practical for me + i have a ton of other eye shadows and many are similar. So return for me based on my needs/likes.
I saw all of the reviews, went to buy it, sold out everywhere. But, there it was, at Bed Bath and Beyond. I have already gotten a million compliments on it. I am extremely fair/brown eyes and thought it would be too chalky/white but not at all. I love it! I put lavender/purple in the crease and this really is an insta-eyelift (I think that is what one of the ladies said) Makes me happy! Better applied with my finger than a brush but working on that. LOVE!
This eyes shadow claims to last 24hrs, and Yes it does! I love this shade "Iced Latte" because it goes great on any skin color any time of day! It looks amazing in the sun & amazing in dim lighting, I always get compliments on my eye shadow, well this is my secret! I always use this one as my base to set an even color, It just make you look more awake & is better than have pure white eyeshadow all over your lid this one is the perfect shade between beige, gold & white its a mixture well made and evn has a bit of creamy look to it! Most expensive @ walmart its about 8.67$ there, and in texas we have a store called H-E-B where I can find it for 6$..but I'm sure if you go to your local store you will find a good price and if not this product is well worth the money, it last me 6 months ,still have it
This eyeshadow is SO REFLECTIVE. If you have hooded eyes like I do you simply must have this color. When I put it on my lids it's like insta-lid, where before I had nothing visible. It's amazing and shimmery and gorgeous. It looks great with warm matte browns in the crease. A must have, I love it.
I really love this color. It is an awesome inner corner highlight. The pigmentation is awesome, and I love the gorgeous metallic finish of the shadow. The price is reasonable around $7-8. The only thing I have to complain about is that this shadow does not blend out or spread as evenly and nicely as my Urban Decay shadows. Definitely worth the money. Will repurchase!
Beautiful, perfect champagne color. I do have so many shades like this now though. But these shadows are gorgeous and apply like a dream. The only down side for some might be that it is shimmery (not glittery, but not matte).
This is the prettiest eyeshadow I've ever come across!! I was originally going to buy Maybelline's Eye Tattoo in Barely Beige which is a similar champagne color, and I've heard and read so many good things about it - it's a part of their fall limited editions colors - I went to three different stores, and none of them had it. I was bummed out, so I went to the L'oreal section because I knew they had a similar product that I've never checked out before - and I saw this color. I swatched it on my hand, and it is soooo gorgeous, it's such a frosted illuminated color, I adore it. It's very creamy and smooth in it's consistency, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it or not. The second I stepped outside (it's a gorgeous warm sunny day in Seattle) my hand was glistening under the sunlight, I've never seen such a pretty color in my life! I immediately turned around and went back inside of the store to purchase it. I love this color! It's very similar to Urban Decay's "Sin", or "Booty Call" but with a lot more shimmer - A LOT. My new favorite eyeshadow! This is perfect with naked in the crease, or a light brown color, some winged eyeliner, and a red lip! I loooove this. I'm so happy I tried it out. I'm def gonna try out some more colors now - they have a really wide range of colors. It's like a pressed powder and super dense, which is different for a "24 hour" lasting shadow and I like it a lot.
