I use it as a concealer and to brighten up the area around the eyes (shade 52). Coverage is amazing, but it's not good for larger regions, let alone the whole face, do not even go there. I apply it with a moist cotton swab after I moistruized my face. It does not work for dry skin. A really great conceler. A tricky foundation though.

I was previously using Chanel Mat Lumiere and i wanted to save a little and downgrade to drugstore foundation which is half the price of Chanel and i picked this up because i heard Bourjois is a sister company of Chanel. The foundation itself is passable, rather long lasting but it doesn't have oil control properties. Plus this foundation really needs to be blended for a rather long time else it'll look cakey. Overall it's pretty good for coverage, covered up all my uneven skin tone and the occasional blemishes.

I wouldn't repurchase though as i will be looking for other foundations with better oil-control properties and have a natural finish. I have to mentioned though that the smell of the foundation is amazing!

I was excited to try this foundation from Bourjois. I am always on the lookout for full coverage drugstore foundations. Unfortunately, this did not really work for me.

Good points:
Full coverage, hides blemishes.
Good price.
Really nice quality bottle, great pump.
Lovely light, floral scent.

Bad points:
Really clings to any dry or flaky skin.
Sinks into pores and makes them appear larger.
Made my skin feel dry.
Dries really quickly and is difficult to blend into hairline.
Finish is dull and flat, and oxidized after a while.
Limited colour range that leans more towards yellow undertones.
Sponge applicator is useless.

I think this foundation could be very good for oily skin, but I will definitely not repurchase.

**Initial review on this product after 2 days**

Broken out like crazy around my t-zone, especially chin, weeping hard cystic acne pimples. After using this I should have known. This is a very HEAVY foundation - comes out like a creme and dries like a mask!

Now I recall this exactly what Healthy Mix and 10hr Sleep Effect also did to my skin... strange coincidence?

Will carry on to use the product once the skin clears up to see if it definetly was this foundation.

This foundation and Healthy mix are the best drug store foundations ever!
I've been using this foundation for about 2 weeks now and i love love love it! It is very neutral compared to healthy mix and i find this foundation is a better match for my skin tone than healthy mix.
Yes the sponge that comes with it is useless- i prefer a brush anyway.
I have some dry patches on my skin and was scared to try this at first but after the very first application i was hooked, the coverage is soo good and the colour (51) is just right for me- i can build without looking dark or having to blend heaps! It does stick to dry patches but no too badly.
The packaging apart from the annoying top with the useless sponge is good, the pump is great at controlling how much product comes out.
The price (in Australia) is a bit on the expensive side for a drug store brand but soooo worth it.
I also love that this foundation comes with SPF 15 yay!
The staying power is also great, i can go a full day with my make up still looking good.
DEFINITELY going to repurchase
i really hope bourjois makes a concealer in this range!

Very nice coverage and lasting-power. I use the shade 53; right after application it's a bit yellow, but soon it adapts to my skintone. It's definitely for people with oily/combination skins.
PS. No youth extension properties here, but it's still a very good foundation.

After using and loving the healthy mix serum by Bourjois I thought that I would try some of their other products hoping that they would also be just as good, but after trying the Flower Perfection Foundation I am a little disappointed.
I found that even the palest available colour of this product was far too dark for my pale complexion, it comes out a horrible orange colour on me :$
I tried using the sponge that it came with once but I didn't find it particularly helpful, so I just use my hands to apply it but I think that this makes it look streaky but I don't know how I else I should apply it as the same happens with brushes!
It does set in the creases around my nose as well but other than that it doesn't particularly dry out my skin which is probably the only good thing I can say about this product :/

Love love love this product. I was skeptical at first but I thought I'd give it a shot. Very glad I did. I have a very oily t zone and it somehow managed to balance my combo skin out so I'm very pleased with that. Most people would say the sponge is too small but I find it to be quite practical. You do however have to be a bit quick with applying so it doesn't clump on your skin but you get used to it. The coverage is very natural, medium to full and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin at all. Also it did not cause any breakouts which I am so thankful for. You can get a medium coverage by applying once which is pretty decent if you ask me. The only thing that bothers me is that it takes up a lot of place in my bag but hey I'm fine with that. The price is also pretty decent for such a good product. I do not recommend it for people with dry skin though as it died dry out my forehead and nose (which I am thankful for)

I had been using healthy mix for the last months and liked it but I wanted to try a foundation from bourjois, so here I am! Combination, acne - prone skin for reference.

Good things first:
1. It does have more coverage. Medium to full
2. The lightest shade -51- is a little lighter and more neutral than 51 in healthy mix. Pretty decent match for my NW10 skin
3. Controls oil better
4. Lasts more
5. Doesn't break me out
6. Nice packaging with pump
7. Light flowery scent
8. Cheap
9. Does not oxidize

Cons:
1. Looks too powdery, flat, fake
2. Transfers easily
3. Accentuates the slightest bit of dryness
4. When I tried to mix with some moisturizer it didn't blend at all
5. Settles into the lines around the eyes and mouth
6. No SPF
7. Sinks into pores
8. The sponge included doesn't help
9. You have to blend carefully and quickly - dries pretty fast

For now, I mix it with healthy mix before application and the combination works better than on it's own for me.
Overall I'm not a fan and wouldn't repurchase.

I got mine today from Priceline (Australia) it was $5 off so $24. I have brought so many expensive myer brand liquid foundations, all are the wrong undertone even though the ladies match me! I've been wanting to try Bourjois for a while simply cos their samples feel so nice on my hand and look like they have a good undertone.. I'm com/oily and usually wear powder mineral- but I need more coverage as I'm having breakout from hormone issues. This foundation goes on really nice, I used my finger to dab on and a round top dense blending brush to blend it out. Great coverage. Def a matte finish. But doesnt last all day, it goes a tad clumpy around the nose area for me. no strange orange or pink undertone, I'm fair but olive toned and a 52 vanilla matches me perfect. If u were a little less oily but not quite dry, or u didn't around around food, much better for you.
