Have this in Never Ending Nude and it's a dud for me. I saw it on Anne Hathaway in a magazine and it looked beautiful on her. The problem is that being so pale (NC15), the nude lip thing just doesn't work on me and it makes me look like a corpse. With my strong yellow undertones, this pulls orange on me and is really unflattering. It also has very large glitter sparkles in it and after the color fades, the big glitter sparkles remain on your lips all day. That's the only part that's longlasting - the actual color disappears after only a few hours. This also bleeds like crazy, and is very drying if used on its own. I'll be throwing it out because the store where I bought it doesn't take returns on used cosmetics. What a waste of money.

This is my new favorite lip product! I am the pickiest female on the planet when it comes to make up, I find nothing is ever good enough for me and I spend tons of money trying to find something I like whether it be mascara, lip sticks, eyeliners etc. I like make up that stays put all day long since I'm up at 645 for work and am usually running around till 9PM. I find with every lip product I spend half my day re-applying it in my little compact mirror at my desk(I'm kind of a perfectionist I admit). So when I saw this I was skeptical but thought I would give it a go. I first bought it in Perpetual Peony but find it to be much too bright of a pink/purple when wearing it alone so I usually put a shiny berry coloured lip-gloss over it to tone it down a bit which works great. Second colour I bought is Infinite Iris which is a darker pinky-red colour and I love it. I don't put a ton on, I just sorta brush it lightly over my lips and it gives them this lovely colour, which is perfect for my everyday wear. You can apply it with a heavier hand and it'll be quite dark, perfect for an evening out. Now of course it doesn't stay on for 14 hours, but lets be real, none of them ever do people.. But I find I only have to apply it 2 times a day, once in the morning, and once either after lunch or before I go out for dinner. Everyone having issues with it I think just need to try and play with it a bit, putting on less or more and seeing where that gets you. This is coming from a hugely perfection obsessed chick :P Took one lippy off simply for the lack of range in the colours, other than that I'm loving it.

I tried this in Pout on Pink, its a bright rosy pink with a sheen to it. Its too bright for my everday look (NC25 & barely pigmented lips). I don't like the frosty finish on this one either. But its a good creamy long lasting formula so I'l definetly purchase others. The swatches on line can be deceiving. TIP: Check the swatches on hands/arms vs lips then picture it on your own shade of lips. It may look softer, more natural on darker lips or tanned skin..so picture the whole face with any lipstick shade!

UPDATE- Just picked this up in Ultimate Blush. Its a cool toned pink, almost violet shade. Not too bright/loud but definetely a pastel family shade that would be best for spring or pop of color looks. continued >>

I bought this in Ultimate Blush and I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I have plenty of experience with "long lasting" lipsticks and most of the first-generation lippies of this sort (the kind with the double applicator - lipstick plus gloss) were drying and inconvenient. This Maybelline lipstick may not last 14 hours but I rarely need lip color to last that long. I need it to make it through one meal or a wedding or something along those lines - 6 hours at the most - and this baby made it to the finish line. (I also experimented by putting it on before I went to sleep and after 8 hours of smushing my face into the pillow, etc. my lips were still pink and moist in the a.m.) The color is nice - lively pink with just a hint of sparkle - perfect for a special occasion (a little too sparkly and light for every day). It has a funny sweet candy-ish smell, which I kind of like. This is my long-laster of choice for now, until something better comes along (at a similar price).

I have this in "Timeless Crimson" but I don't use it for lipstick. I use it for blush. It's an absolutely PERFECT color and looks 100% natural. After applying, I dust a bit of Sally Hansen - Skin Equalizing Powder Makeup on top of it and it looks like a "natural glow" that stays all day. I absolutely LOVE this for blush. For lipstick no it doesn't have the staying power it claims to have. I use Maybelline's Superstay for lipstick.

I bought this in the lightest color - something Peony.....the color turns out nothing like the tube depicts. The color is an extreme blue based Barbie Corvette pink. Just horrible. In order to get it to work at all, I have to apply it very lightly and then add a darker gloss on top of it. And I am NOT shy about wearing bright colors that make a statement. But this just looks stupid. Applying it just plain on dry lips is a disaster. It is so dry and cakey, it feels like layers of dried paint and chalk. Ugh, the marketing on this product is a COMPLETE LIE....featherweight, never drags, never dries...........come on! And the color trasnfers very badly onto your glass. At most I got the color to last maybe 2 hours before needing to be reapplied. The worst thing about this lipstick is that as it fades and wears off, it leaves that horrible old granny ring around the outside of your mouth with bare lips in the center. Ugh, awful. Just tacky, trashy, awful. Did they not test this product at ALL before it was released?! Overall, a total failure and waste of $9.

While I generally like most Maybelline products, this 14 hour lipstick doesn't last on me. I tried not eating or drinking anything for an hour after application but it didn't matter. As soon as I ate or drank anything, it was gone. And it left bright lipstick marks on my coffee cup. Not good. Also, after eating or drinking, it dries up fast and left my lips looking faded and dry. I like the color and the way it went on beautifully... but I don't see how they can advertise it as 14 hour wear... maybe on a corpse. Seriously. They should market to funeral homes.

The reason I gave this product a 2 was bc it DOESN'T last 14 hrs. I work as an Xray tech so theres no sweating or hard work; I put it on at around 9 am and by 12 or 1 pm the lip stick had already worn off. It honestly looked like I had lip liner. It also has a flaky feeling, not too comfortable :/

I bought this in eternal rose and ultimate blush. The rose color is matte and a tad sticky (which goes away with a little balm over it). The blush is shinier and kind of frosty, but not too much. I have worn both, and they lasted 9-10 hours for me. I even drank and ate while wearing them. I did not get the ring around my lips that I get with other lipsticks. I want to buy this in more colors, as this is the best lipstick I've ever worn.

GREAT lipstick! Smooth, doesn't dry or peel my lips, no sticky applicator or sealer coat.
