I love love love this brush head. I quite soft but softer than sensitive brush head. I got it by GWP and I absolutely love it.
Ps. I always use the deep pore at night and delicate in the morning, both brush that work on my skin
I have rosacea and was using the sensitive brush. I still had irritation but figured I'd just deal with it. I bought the deep pore brush on a whim. Best thing I've ever done for my face. Anyone with rosacea knows how sensitive your skin is. This brush head not only cleans better but no irritation. I bought 3 more heads to have them stocked.
I prefer the deep pore brush head for my Mia over the sensitive one that came with the unit. The sensitive head felt slightly scratchy on my skin and has not kept my pores cleaner than using my oil cleanser (with emulsifier) does alone. The sensitive head has similar results as when I used the Olay Pro X or DDF Revolve brush (had both units); only the sensitive head brush made my skin softer than the Olay or DDF. Now for the deep head brush: smoother on my skin, 6 months of continuous use now and my pores are still clean, once I worked up to using it 2x a day (started with just 1x day for 2 wks, than 2x day a couple days a week for a month, than 2x day) IT GOT RID OF ALL MY FLESH COLORED UNDER THE SKIN TINY BUMPS on my face! My skin is looking awesome from this brush head! When I use it I only sweep each area on my face in a circle one time and I lightly touch my face with it. I do NOT scrub it on my face or sweep over the area again and again because it would (like any of these types of devices) leave my skin raw and red. I have sensitive skin that is very oily (when I do not use my oil + emulsifier cleanser) and extremely acnegenic. I break out from almost any product and get irritated skin easily.
I had such high hope for this, but unfortunately it did not work for me. I find it extremely harsh, i felt raw on several areas on my face after first use.My immediate thought was the bristles felt firmer on my skin, which I didn't enjoy very much. After the program finished, I didn't feel much deep cleansing, i felt like it was trying to take my skin off. Prior to this, I have used the sensitive and acne brush head. I liked the sensitive brush, but it didn't really stand out to me, I thought it did a decent job. In comparison, I really really like the acne brush head. The bristles look the same as the sensitive brush head, but longer, which makes it more flexible to reach bridge of the nose. My skin feels very clean, relax and soft. It felt like it just had a face massage.
Did you know you can remove the outer circle of bristles for a smaller brush to get in those hard to reach corners, like your nose!?! I had this brush for a couple of months and it was time for a new one and I went to Sephora and the SA told/showed me this and I was flabbergasted. How did I not know this!?! So cool. I'm sure there are google images or videos to show this if you want to see how it's done and can't figure it out. Anyway, this is my favorite of the brushes. I have pretty normal skin, but I like how this brush gets the job done.
EDIT: update 6/21/12 - ok, so I was at an event at the plastic surgeon's office and there was a Clarisonic rep there and she was condescending and rude. I mentioned about what the SA at Sephora told me about the middle of the brush popping out and she became very upset and said DO NOT take apart your brush, it's not meant to be used that way and I ended up getting a huge lecture. I was very turned off by her un-tactful way of informing me of this.
Love this brush. My Clairisonic Mia2 came with one of these and a sensitive brush. I used the sensitive brush and found myself wondering what the hype was about for the Clairisonic. When I switched to this brush it all made sense. Now my skin is smooth and clear, also due to other products I use, but this definitely de-congested my skin significantly.
I love this brush, when I bought my clarisonic it came with the sensitive brush and it did help clean my face some but still had a little bit of grime left. I saw that they came out with this brush so I decided to try it since I have oily/acne skin. After using it I noticed a great deal of difference between the 2 brushes. I cant believe the cost of these though. Thank goodness for ebay though, just bought 3 of these brushes for $42.00 which is way better than $75.00. I will continue to purchase this brush as it's great.
This brush head is amazing-it really makes a difference from the sensitive or even regular brush. I have large pores which clog really easy and this brush head really helps remove dirt and makeup. My skin has never looked better. I just purchased two more of these brush heads at Amazon.com for $35 dollars and the shipping cost is included in this price.
I was a bit skeptical about this brush head. I wasn't sure if it was REALLY deep cleaning or just a scam to buy yet another brush head. About a year ago when I first purchased the Clarisonic, I began with the sensitive brush head. It took me about 6 months to move on to the regular brush head because I was a little skeptical about this one too. My skin is a bit sensitive and when I first started to use the regular head, it could only stand it for a minute and once a day :( After a while, my skin adjusted to it and I was doing fine. Recently, I came to the conclusion that my skin wasn't looking as good as before and I noticed some clogged pores forming. I purchased the deep pore brush head and after my first try, oh.my.God. this brush is incredible! I really truly feel a difference using this brush and it wasn't harsh at all. In fact, it feels better then the regular brush head which was a bit scratchy. After using the deep pore brush head and my ususal facial cleanser, I noticed that there wasn't a trace of makeup left behind on my white towel. When I used the sensitive and regular heads, I was always left with some makeup residue on the towel even after thoroughly rinsing my skin. I noticed that the deep pore head effectively cleaned my face without any irritation or redness. This little brush works hard but somehow doesn't tug and pull at the skin, it is truly amazing. The only con for this product is the price. I paid $25 for one brush head from Sephora.
I have always like my Clarisonic, but since I've switched from the "sensitive" brush to the "deep pore" brush - I have notice a significantly difference. I have large pores and keratosis pilaris... I thought there was nothing (other than manual extraction) that would keep my pores clear - UNTIL - I tried this brush. I LOVE it! I have sensitive skin, but I am able to use this twice daily with Cerave hydrating cleanser - without irritation. If you're on the fence about your Clarisonic - TRY THIS brush head before you retire your Clarisonic.
