I kind stole this from my moms makeup closet. I love it too much!
My favourite mascara to date! I love this mascara! It goes on smooth, no clumping, nice full lashes. Price is less than a lot of the pricier brands by about $10. I keep trying others, but always come back to this one and then wonder why I switched. A little amazed at the poor revues.
If I could give this a zero, I would. This does nothing except make your lashes clumpy. It does not lengthen at all or curl at all. I definately would not reccomend this mascara.
In the start, I thought I loved this product but I have come to realize I do not. It was all the hype that got me excited. This product is not terrible, but it is not fantastic either. It clumps, and it doesn't make your lashes stand out. It's more of a natural look and you either can't tell you're wearing it or you can tell because of all the clumps.
Overall: I would not buy again.
The first day I got this, I loved it! Thought it was very similar to Armani Eyes to Kill or Maybelline Full and Soft, unfortunately after 2 days it was already flaking heavily and clumping my eyelashes pretty severely.
It has a huge brush, which I liked cause my eyes are huge and my eyelashes are long, but anyone with small lashes... I think this would be a nightmare for. Brush reminded me of Benefit Bad Gal.
I loved it the first day, but not any day after.
Would not recommend or repurchase
Smudges if I use it on my lower lashes
It's a really good mascara, and one I return to. But I'm still looking for another. Grass is always greener maybe...
Many here are not satisfied with the volume. I actually curl my lashes before I apply any mascara.
I personally love smashbox only sad part about it, price and it CLUMPS after some time... I am pretty anal when mascara clumps so I bought another one and no longer am dealing with the clump issue.
It lasts and it does the job of adding the va-va-vooom to your lashes :) I seriously recommend curling lashes before applying mascara.
Pricing... I would think it would cost less... but its not lol. Oh well.
Would I buy it again, I would. Just wished it wasn't so much $$$
I'm not a huge brush fan so this mascara rates just "meh." I feel about it the way I do Revlon mascara...it will work in a pinch, but I don't go out of my way for it. I think this came in a box with other mascara minis and most of them did better a better job of building length and volume than this. This didn't irritate my very sensitive eyes so that is why I rated it 3 lippies.
This mascara is really good. It does not give much volume but I have noticed some lengthening. I love that it does not clump at all and it can really lift and curl lashes without the use of an eyelash curler.
What has to be the most amazing thing about this mascara is the brush. It appears to be sort of big and scary and it resembles the traditional mascara brush of yesteryear. But in fact, its is the most comfortable, soft and gentle mascara brush I have ever came across. It feels good on the eyes and I am sure those who have sensitive eyes would appreciate what this mascara brush offers. It is great to have Va Va Voom lashes but it is equally good to treat sensitive eyes with care and this mascara is indeed a good one in the latter department.
I love big lashes but I cant deny how great this mascara feels and I may just buy it for the days when I need a little TLC for my eyes.
Honestly, I had a very hard time thinking up of a way to accurately review this mascara, since I'm on the fence about it. Smashbox's Full Exposure was something I bought in a Smashbox set, and, soon enough, started using it.
The first thing I noticed was the brush; the brush of this mascara is extremely long and thick (1 1/3" by 1/2" to be exact), and it reminded me a lot of BeneFit Bad Gal Lash. This mascara is definitely very similar to Bad Gal in both formula, brush shape and wear, so if you are familiar with Bad Gal, then you can expect similar results from Full Exposure. Going back to the brush-because of its thickness, a lot of product is harbored in the brush. However, it does not all get deposited onto your lashes. Surprisingly, this mascara creates a very natural lash look. Great definition and decent length, yet minimal volume. Full Exposure makes a great defining mascara.
I liked the formula a lot; very smooth, creamy, and black. The blackness of this product was perfectly in the middle between blue-black and brown black- a perfectly neutral black. It went on extremely smoothly and dried in a respectable amount of time.
I had a couple flaking issues; it doesn't flake on its own very much, but if you touch your lashes, then it will most likely trigger some flaking. I also had a couple smudging issues, and didn't quite like the wear.
The packaging of the product was nothing to rave over; black, plastic, with sleek lettering. Yay.
Pricewise, this mascara is $20, which isn't bad for a high-end mascara. Definitely not the most riskiest investment!
Overall, I am on the fence about Smashbox Full Exposure. I think it is a decent mascara, just living up to my expectations, but not something I'd rush to repurchase. Because of its less than perfect wear, I probably won't repurchase. However, if you are looking for a great natural-look mascara or you liked BeneFit Bad Gal Lash, then, by all means, I encourage you to try it. :)
