I am on my second bottle of this product. Let me tell u, it is the best concealer ever. I have tried tons and I always stick to the pro long wear.
I have nc 25 skintone and I was matched with nw 20. Nw 20 is perfect color match for under my eyes. I also use the pro longwear on blemishes. When i do i use the concealer in nw 25.
The lasting power is great. Even when you're sweating ( I use this when I go to the gym as well). It's a bit hard to blend, but I don't mind.
I would definetely recommend this concealer. HG!!
MY SKIN:
I am fair with yellow undertones, I usually fall in between NC15-20. I am usually dry with acne prone skin. Most MAC foundations wreak havoc on my skin but I found Face + Body foundation (C1- C2) with the Pro Longwear Concealer is perfect for me.
SHADE:
The sales associate picked out NW20 for me. At first I was concerned because I usually prefer my concealers lighter and I have never been matched in the NW range. She explained that the NW(warmer) shades can have a brightening effect under the eye and this turned out to be true for me!
COVERAGE:
I think this concealer is medium-full coverage, it is very buildable. It offers the coverage of Studio Sculpt Concealer but is so much more lightweight. I use this to combat the redness in the center of my face, dark circles, and the occasional spot on my face.
LONGEVITY:
The lasting power is amazing! Doesn't need to be set with powder, lasts all day. My makeup is usually on 8-10 hours a day and this concealer doesn't budge.
PACKAGING:
The pump is frustrating. It dispense too much product. When I purchased this concealer I knew about the pump troubles so I asked for a sample cup. I pump my concealer into the cup and that way I'm able to save what I don't use.
CONCLUSION:
I am so surprised by how much I like this concealer. I use this everyday and haven't really felt the need to pick up any of my undereye correctors. It looks natural and really smoothes out my skin. Even though my skin is on the dry side (I exfoliate, moisturize and prime my skin regularly) there haven't been any problems with flaking.
Love this concealer but it has taken some getting used to!!
I have just recently smashed my bottle of it so will have to repurchase- had about half left so very upset! Beware of the glass packaging and the pump makes life difficult to get out the right amount of product.
I used to love Laura Mercier secret concealer but found in the hotter weather it does not stay put, so I was looking for something with more staying power!
I have had to really work with this concealer to see best results. I'm about an NC30 so have got this is NC20 for under the eye area. I don't have many fine lines or dark circles here but I am obsessed with achieving the contoured look.
I've found that dispensing the pump into a little tub makes application a lot easier. I also found that using a primer really helped as it dries onto the skin quite quickly, i use YSL secret primer and it gives a great glow/silky finish. I then use a damp beauty blender as the consistency of the concealer is thick (tried various brushes but went cakey). The coverage is medium to full, looks airbrushed and luminous, I do not find the need to set with a powder. It lasts all day, even after a power nap the under eye area still looks fresh and bright. It does not cause my eye makeup to run, I have tried the Mac select moisturecover and was not impressed.
Just wish this came in a different type of bottle :-)

This is the concealer I use to cover up blemishes or skin color issues. When I went in I was first matched to nw25, I was trying out Prolongwear foundation in nw20 at the time but like usual the MAC artists don't listen to me when I tell them I am paler than I look, I always get matched too dark at MAC. Anyways I bought it and went outside and sure enough it looked like an oompa loompa was trying to conceal my spots. I went back in and exchanged it for nw15 which is a smidge light but blends out okay. I have heard a lot about the pump being a pain so I asked for a plastic pot they give samples in to decant it which works perfectly. I have a lot left and I have been using it for about a year. The coverage is good, I have never used it for under my eyes since the consistency tends to be on the dry side. I apply this to my spots and dab it lightly with my beauty blender until it blends in. Last a long time and covers my spots pretty well. Good all around concealer. I might look into different ones when I run out just for fun though.
awesome product! it's very pigmented so i only use very little. i'm an nw45 & this blends in w/my foundation which makes for a flawless finish. it's weird though because my nw45 concealer in the select cover up is much lighter.

Omggggg!!!!! This is super super super bad , it's so bad I want to cry , I hate this product everybody says It's good but NO ! I have creases under my eye so I put this on thinking it won't crease because everybody says it won't and it not only creased but took it to the next level of creasing, my lines looked like deserts! Lol what is that about. If you touch it when it's dry it comes off on your finger. My dark circles still showed through this. This concealer is to sticky and it's also hard to put on because it dries when your patting or brushing it in so you kinda take some off whole putting it on. My friend has this and it looks great on her , but I have two deep lines under each eye so I think that plays a big role in it looking so ugly on me. So if you have deep lines I do not suggest but if not give it a try never know right :) oh and I love the packaging I wish they made all concealers like this
I will purchase this time and time again. This is THE most amazing concealer I have ever tried. It's super light and super creamy and has amazing buildable coverage. I don't have to powder at all. (I hardly do anyway) I have NW15. I am very fair and I go lighter for a brightening effect. NW20 works awesome for me too but I wear thick black framed glasses and I love the added brightness of the lighter one. It doesn't move or crease and it's just a high quality product. If this was in a tube it would be AWESOME. It's rather wasteful as most people mentioned, but ah well, what can ya do! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I was disappointed in this. It says on the website that it could be medium to full coverage, I would definitely say medium at best. I have red marks leftover from previous acne which are a pain to cover up. This concealer really didn't hide them better than a lot of the drugstore concealers I've tried (I have 8 or so drugstore concealers). I don't really see why people say this is full coverage, maybe they just don't have anything major to cover up. I even tried to build it up and use more and it wouldn't cover my marks. It could be a little bit cakey if you weren't careful, too. I've read reviews of people who said it felt heavy or like it tugged on their skin and felt really uncomfortable, well I didn't get that feeling at all. It felt like a normal concealer and wasn't uncomfortable to wear in my opinion. If you are thinking about getting this for your undereye darkness, then it could be good. I still use it for that but I don't use it for dark marks because it doesn't work well enough for that. It doesn't crease and it does stay on well, I give it that. Also, when I pump it out, I put the excess makeup in a plastic tub with a lid that seals, because it pumps out too much to use at one time. Bottom line, this really disappointed me when I tried to use it to cover my dark marks from acne, but it could be good for undereye darkness or less serious discoloration.

I love this concealer. My problem areas are usualy redness around my nose and T-Zone, also even though I am 15 I tend to suffer with rather dark circles and puffyness. I have tried a variety of different products to try and none seem to work as well as this one. Its amazing coverage and a really good consistency, so isn't really thick when applied to the skin. I do not suffer with oily skin so im not sure how this product would work with oily skin types.
I would deffinalty recamend this product if like me you suffer with dark circles. It gets rid of them completely! For £14:50 at a MAC counter its a great price and lasts ages, as you only need 1 pump per aplication (1 pumps is enough for me) Try It!

Oh, and I use this as a foundation instead of concealer, just so we're clear.

MY SKIN:
Now I am very pale with slight yellow undertones (BEHOLD, other brands, one must NOT be pink because they are pale!) I am about NC10, but that doesn't exist in MAC foundations, but NW10 does and it seems to work. A little uneven skin with small whiteheads on my cheeks sometimes, and some (just a little) discolouration and a little redness. I have also found a good match in MUFE Mat Velvet+ and Shiseido Radiant Lifting foundation in O00.
SHADES:
I am most certainly grateful for MAC's foundation shade range, though I can never find a match in their foundations, because I'm too pale. NC15 is usually two shades too dark for me, except MAC Studio Sculpt foundation which is just one shade too dark.
Their concealers on the other hand, I can usually find a match in the lightest shades. I have tried all their concealers (read bottom for comparison). This one I couldn't find a match in, because it dries significantly darker than in the bottle (it's already too dark in the bottle). I bought NC15 and mix it with Illamasqua Skin Base in White to get the right shade.
COVERAGE:
Full coverage but could be sheered down to medium.
FINISH:
Matte/natural, definitely not dead-matte.
LONGEVITY:
Lasts well over the promised 15 hours for me! Looks exactly the same when I put it on and when I wash it off. The longest I have worn this is 26 hours (horrible day) and it looked the same. Once I fell asleep with it on (shame on me) and it looked almost the same when I woke up.
PACKAGING:
I don't care about the packaging except I CAN'T GET ALL THE PRODUCT OUT! I have several "empty" bottles with plenty on the bottom that I CAN'T GET OUT! So frustrating.
CONCLUSION:
This is a staple of mine and I use it almost every day when I need to be awake for very long. I love how it evens out my skin texture and tone, doesn't accentuate flakes, bumps or anything, just smooths it out. I love how it lasts all day and covers everything I want it to cover. Great job MAC.

MAC CONCEALERS COMPARISON:
- MAC Select Cover-Up - sheer coverage, runny/watery liquid, ashy shades but pale enough for me. Creases, doesn't last. Comes in squeeze tube.
- MAC Studio Finish - full coverage, thick texture, the shades are great - pale enough for me. Looks cakey, lasts but looks awful after a while. Comes in pot.
- MAC Select Moisturecover - sheer to medium coverage, liquid (thicker than Cover-Up), shades I find too pink (both NC and NW), a little too dark for me. Creases incredibly, doesn't last at all. Comes in tube with wand.
- MAC Mineralize Concealer - light to medium coverage, liquid (same as Moisturecover), great shades and pale enough, lasts a little better than the others. Doesn't crease that bad. Comes in a tube with a brush-like wand.
- MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer - incredible full coverage, very thick and dry texture, the palest shades of all. Looks cakey and awful on me, but could be great on others. Came in a pot. (Discontinued)
- MAC Pro Longwear Concealer - full coverage, liquid but thicker than Moisturecover and Mineralize, shades too pink (in my opinion) and FAR too dark! Oxidizes. Lasts forever. Comes in bottle with pump.

P.S, I use NARS Loose Powder in Snow or Flesh to set this and Smashbox Photo Finish Primer to prime.
