I have to say, I didn't love. The haute side was like not wearing any mascara and the naughty side gave very minor length and no volume. Cute idea though.
I wanted to like this product so very bad. I can't say that I do, though. The pink side picks up enough mascara to do a sufficient job, but the wand is way too long and it is too hard to control. The purple side picks up way, way, WAY too much product and it winds up being a clumpy mess. I can't recommend this product and honestly, my pink and green tube works much better. I think I will stick with that.
EDIT 11/27/12 @ 2341: Big, big thanks to kaelamck for the mini-tutorial on how to use this. I was not instructed at the MAC counter how to apply this mascara. I used the purple brush first, then the pink brush and I took my time with this product. That seemed to be the magic touch, because my eyelashes looked fabulous. I didn't put on my falsies and it still looked like I had them on. While the pink and green tube is my HG, this will definitely become my night out on the town/drama mascara. Because of this new development, I am raising my rating to a 4.
So I'm going to be honest and say at first I didn't exactly fall in love with this mascara... and then I learned how to properly work with it. For the first few times that I applied it, I used the little mascara brush first and the big one second. Big mistake and my lashes looked redic. I was in the mall one day and I asked a girl at MAC the proper way to apply and she had told me big brush first, little brush second. In retrospect, that makes a lot of sense lol, but whatever. So now I am very much in love with the Haute and Naughty and when applied properly, with a light hand, and under no time constraints, my lashes look beautiful.
My tips for this product:
1. Always use the big brush first. It applies a little clumpy, and the fine smaller brush really works wonders to "comb" the mascara out
2. Apply root to end, for both brushes
3. Only apply 1 or 2 swips maximum for the big brush
4. Use a light hand or you can really over do-it and lashes end up looking clumpy
5. Take your time! This is not a product to use if under time constraints.
I am nit-picky by nature but I really believe in this product and people often ask me if my lashes are natural because it makes them so full and long looking, great product, would buy again!

Honestly, I absolutely love this mascara. It makes my lashes look longer and fuller. But no matter what I do, how much I dab under my eyebrow, no matter if I use an eye primer or powder, the mascara smudges like there's no tomorrow. It smudges right under my brow, where my lashes touch when my eyes are open. I guess you can avoid them but not looking at anyone from under your lashes and not opening your eyes too wide, but who thinks about those kinds of things on a m inute-by-minute basis? no one. I would love to recommend it, but the no-solution smudging bums me out.
I received this as a gift, and I really do love the concept of it. I only use the "Naughty" version, because the day one just doesn't do much at all. The only up side is that you don't get so much on the wand, and it doesn't smear and clump as easily. This mascara is VERY wet, and I find that it weighs down my lashes and kind of smears on my lids. I have to wipe it off therefor it effs up my eyeshadow that I work very hard on, and that can be frustrating. It kind of is clumpy because it's so wet, and it doesn't layer well. I use fake eyelashes everyday, and this really makes them look clumpy and weights them down. This only works if I use another mascara after it. Over rated for sure, and for 20$ you could buy two better drugstore products.

Was not to fond with this mascara at all. I find better use in the ones from the local drug store! Will not buy again!
I struggled with what general rating to give this product -- I have said in other mascara reviews that I am a Dior fan - I have branched out to other mascaras and will be doing reviews on all of them - I am a mascara junkie so I tend to buy whatever new mascara I find - that being said a girl at work introduced me to MAC haute and naughty - She said it was the "best" mascara she's ever used. I asked why it was the best and she said because there were two wands that came with it - one that was smaller and caught all the lashes and the bigger brush for overall volumizing/lengthening.
I have to say I've only used the mascara three times and that is because I really don't like it. I find the smaller wand to be flimsy to be honest - I find it difficult to really grip the wand and get it at the roots of my lashes - The larger brush is better and does do a good job, but it was nothing special. Overall I would say it's only slightly better than a drugstore mascara although I didn't find that it was really goopy which I hate (spider lashes anyone?!) .. but overall I wouldn't buy it again - the price wasn't bad it was about 20.00 because she gets a discount - Overall - I just wasn't feeling it - I would try another MAC mascara but for now I'm going to stick to Diorshow and lancome hypnose drama.

I have bought tons of mascara's, this one is the worst mascara by mac, its to clumpy, and thick. Whenever i remove my makeup, my lashes fall out because i have to scrub my face so hard to get it off, all in all, WORST mascara!
I got this mascara a few days ago and I'm still not to sure if I like it. I tend to use the purple end first sense it kind of makes my lashes clumpy and then the pink end to help get the clumps out and give it a better look. Yes this make my lashed longer and look fuller but it gives me raccoon eyes.
