This is indeed a very good moisturizing toner/ serum that I bought as a replacement for the freaking expensive Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. Unfortunately, the lovely hydrating effect doesn't last very long which is the main deal breaker for me. I need all the help I can get within the moisture departement to soften fine lines during a long working day so I will have to get back to ANR.

The Hada Labo toner's main ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which is supposed to trap in moisture and plump up the skin. I wanted to try this toner after I finished my Shiseido toner because it seemed to be a cheaper alternative.
I used it day and night after washing my face and the bottle lasted for over a year. I use about 3-4 drops and pat it on my face until all is absorbed. After this toner, I use a Vitamin C serum and it leaves the skin glowing and hydrated.
Within the first few weeks of use, I did not see much of a difference in the skin texture, but after two months, my skin looked so much better than before. I went on vacation for a few weeks and I did not bring this toner along and my skin felt much dryer.
While this product is very good, it is not a miracle product. There is much hype about the effectiveness of this product, but it will not make your skin look brighter overnight. The label in the back recommends to use this day and night and you will see promising results after 6 months.
I love this toner and even though applying it is an extra step, the results are definitely worth it.

This product has saved my skin this winter- usually I am a flakey mess because of the dryness, but not this year!
I use it in the evening as a lotion masque (Chizu Saeki-style). In the morning, I just pat it on after my shower.

I bought this after seeing their advertisements everywhere... i was seeing it on TV, on the bus, random ads every corner i turned. Then i saw it in the drugstore and figured why not just try it.
It was amazing!! I have combination skin and moisturisers are either too rich for me on my T-zone (causing tiny oil bumps) or not rich enough on my cheeks and chin (causing my skin to feel dry and bumpy)....
I use this alone after cleansing, it's enough and i don't need anything else.
This even things out, makes my cheeks/chin hydrated and my T-zone feeling nice and not clogged up. My skin felt plump, fresh, and powdery smooth! I was so amazed i couldn't help but keep touching my face hehe. It absorbs into the skin so fast and just leaves it feeling hydrated, i can't feel any product on my skin after it absorbs.
It's the first bottle of moisturiser i have ever finished, and it's such a huge bottle for a low price. I bought a refill packet (great that they have these!) and i've finished that too.
I am now using the Kose Sekkisei lotion which is extremely similar to the Hada Labo, cos i won it at a lucky draw. It's a signature product which I would say the effects are almost identical, the only difference i notice is that the Kose is slightly more watery in texture. Hada Labo is selling for a fraction of Kose's price so it's definitely my choice.

This product is my answer to SKII products.
It is non-alcohol and makes my skin feel fresh and not tight.
It has a dewy look after you apply on your face and yr face looks radiant throughout the day.
Now with the nano-sized lotion, it is a must-have for all, irregardless of skin type you have.
Go get a trial pack and you'll see the difference it makes for your skin.

I have to add to the chorus of people that say this ruined their skin. I was doing so well - my skin had recovered from breakouts completely. I had scars and dryness but I was being very careful to not aggravate my skin. I had been using the Ishizawa hyaluronic toner and finished my bottle - rather than open my last bottle I decided to try the Hada Labo hyaluronic toner. They're the same thing, right? WRONG.
The Hada Labo toner is almost like a serum texture - sticky and somewhere between a liquid and a gel. I thought it was moisturizing my face extremely well - I did not feel dry at all. I tried this for a little over a month, during which I started to break out on my chin. It wasn't horrible - but it was 1 large pimple after another - one would heal and another would start to develop. I thought it was a hormonal imbalance since it was confined to my chin. It wasn't until I got a pimple on my cheek that I took a step back and considered what I had recently changed in my skincare routine.
I realized I had just switched my toner from Ishizawa to Hada Labo. I immediately switched back - and my breakouts have stopped. o_O What a huge difference! I now have a horrible scar on my cheek that will probably take years to fade. Now I have to retry products I was trying out while using this, bc I had thought those products were to blame!
For reference, I have extremely sensitive dry skin. I am not acne-prone - just sensitive. Usually if my skin dislikes a product or an ingredient, it will show in small red bumps. I have never had a product give me pimples consistently like this product.
If you want to use a japanese moisturizing toner, do yourself a favor and try the Ishizawa brand. It's a smaller bottle and is more expensive, but it's so much better! (no sticky feeling to deal with either) I will never stray again!

I feel that this is one of the best toner, I have ever used. But I think that its is more like a in between of moisturizer and toner. If you are counting on it to minimize pores then I wouldn't recommend it. But its SUPER moisturizing!!! I already have back up bottle of it in case it finishes.
I would say that I actually like this product. I bought the Hada Labo Travel Kit and I love it. There are Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Make-up Remover(30ml), Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Wash(20g), Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion(20ml) and Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Milk(20ml). The lotion is very good, my skin felt mosturise and it doesn't cause breakouts. It's also not too expensive. I think it's affordable and a bottle can use for quite a period of time, worth it. It's not too oily or sticky(my opinion) and suitable for anytype of skin. I have very sensitive skin so I have to choose the products carefully. This product is not too harsh for my skin and it absorbs well.
- 1 sold every 4 seconds
- free of fragrances, mineral oil and colorant.

Its such an amazing product. I been using it for close to 6 months now. I use it as a toner right after my facial wash, 2-3 drops which sometimes is more than enough to hydrate my combination of dry/oily skin. It leaves my skin feel plump, smooth and fresh. I definitely can see improvements after 1 month. My cheeks do get dehydrated when I put on make up specially when its really hot outside in Singapore, so this product absolutely helps. I bought a 170 ml bottle for 20 plus SGD I think, which lasted me for 3-4 months and it comes with a re filler pack of 150 ml at 18 SGD. It is definitely a value for money.
Really, really impressed with this stuff. Just a splash or two before moisturising and my skin stays comfortable feeling and fresh looking all day. I pat a bit on before reapplying makeup and it freshens everything up as well.
Don't know how I managed without it, it's now an essential part of the team!
