This mascara is just ok.. Really nothing special for all of the hype it gets on QVC.. I didn't purchase the full size, I got a kit that had several of her best selling products in sample sizes. I LOVE trying new mascaras and this was the one item from the kit that I absolutely couldn't wait to try, but am unfortunately a bit disappointed. I've found drugstore mascaras that are half the price, anad equal or better quality. It's a good general mascara for a very natural look, but I prefer a va va voom lash look on a daily basis and that's the main reason that this doesn't work for me.
On the plus side it's not called "waterproof" but doesn't smudge to heck and back so I'm going to continue to use it until I finish the tube (I can make it work using 1 coat of this topped w/ 1-2 coats L'oreal Carbon Black Voluminious or Maybelline Falsies) but I certainly don't plan to repurchase this small size or purchase the full size.

A friend of mine recommended this to me. I don't like it. Just FYI, i have long lashes and love a lot of volume and real black lashes. This clumps and does not give much volume or lenght. very natural. easy to remove and does not smudge. just an ok product IMO,

First of all let me start off by saying i find most mascaras ok. I dont think you need to shell out more than £10 for a good mascara and think ones like lancome etc are overrated. I have fairly long black eyelashes which are quite curled in the first place so i never curl them otherwise they look strange.
In a mascara i look for one that separates, doesnt clump ior flake (looking at you MF Maserpiece) and because my lashes are dark tge formula has to be super dark.
Now for the review.
This came as part of a kit from QVC which i think had 6 other items and was £16 so quite a bargain. Otherwise it retails for about £21 plus postage which is slightly more than what i would pay if a mascara was to be HG. I really had high hopes for this mascara and thought i would like it a whole lot more than i did based on the qvc reviews.
Dont get me wrong its a good but .......
Let me talk about pros first
A decent black
Doesnt clump only a tiny little
Get a good amount in tube
Make my lashes more curly
Doesnt flake or irritate
Good brush that isnt too big or small - i dont like big brushes like bad galas i cant get to the base
Isnt a dry formula like bad gal but not as wet as maybellines great lashwhich i really like

Cons
Crap packaging
Not as volumising as i expected although i had used a couple of layers earlier in the day and then in evening used a few more coats which really did volumize - i think te key is to let each coat really dry

All in all I would purchase again especially considering what i paid for it. I would give this a 4.5 as its not WOW but a bit better than good.

This is my HG! I love this mascara. I have naturally long lashes and this really gives me the voluminous look I'm looking for! It is the perfect black, unlike any other mascara I've found elsewhere, and I've tried TONS.

I really wanted to give this mascara a good review 'cause I was so excited to try it. The problem is, though.....the product sucked :(

Flaws:
1) Very cheaply/poorly made packaging. The wand is so flimsy....just didn't like it.
2) Simply DID NOT do anything it claimed to do when Mally was hawking it on TV. Frankly, it's no better than a $6 store brand I bought back in January :(

This product was simply not for me because it flat out did not do what it claimed to do. Bummer!

This mascara is the bomb! I'm always in search of a mascara that truly delivers and this one does all the way around. It doesn't flake, smear, or clump and gives my lashes the volume and length they need. It's a true winner!

This is awesome. The brush is simple and standard, but awesome. The formula is also amazing. It is not too wet or dry in my opinion. I have medium-long lashes that are reasonably volumized on their own. This gives me sky-high length and a pretty good amount of volume. It also lasts all day. I will repurchase.

I don't know why I try others, its so good. Bought it on QVC and i love the formulation and brush. Its not too wet or dry at all, you can use it right away, you don't have to let it dry out. Like other mascara i wipe it a little before application. There is no smelll at all either if you are interested. Definetly worth it!!

The bad bits - Packaging - cheap and logo 'wears' very quickly bottle looks shabby and on a few occassions the stalk has snapped and got stuck in the bottle
bottle dries out quickly, often this dryness causes the neck to get clogged and disables shutting lid tight, which causes further solidifying

THE GOOD BITS
Product - Excellent, A GREAT mascara if you haven't got time to sit there adding layers, can give a good 3 layer look with 1 layer
BUT..

There are so many packaging issues, it really puts me off even though the contents are awesome, but it has a short life - it needs to be redesigned. same brush, stronger stalk, metal tube
