I admit, the first thing that drew me to Soap&Glory was their super-cute pink packaging with the vintage photos. I have oily / acne-prone skin, with large pores on my nose, so I picked up this scrub (USD$13 at Target) and thought I'd give it a try. At first, I didn't like the smell. It's hard to describe; sort of an artificial mint smell? But I got over that quickly. The consistency of the scrub is nice. The granules are quite fine, so it feels super gentle against my skin. I like to apply it when I'm in the shower -- I massage it into my skin for a minute then leave it on as a mask for another minute or two. It has this really nice cooling sensation to it if you leave it on for a little bit. And I like that you only have to use a little pea-sized amount to get the job done. I can't say this has helped "refine" my pores or improved the appearance of blackheads, but it certainly makes my skin feel softer and more refreshed. I plan on finishing up the tube I have, but I probably wouldn't buy it again at $13. continued >>

I have found my HG scrub this stuff is amazing and only $12
I've used it 4 times. I started off with red blotchy blemished skin. My skin is now an even tone, glowing, and blemish free. By the way fellow canadians, they just got this item in my local shoppers drug mart so go get it! Truely amazing im gonna stock up

Soap and Glory is fast becoming one of my go-to beauty brands. I have tried many of their products, and have yet to be dissappointed. This scrub is simply fabulous- I use it almost daily after cleansing. The result is a clear, glowing, even complexion. The formula rinses clean, and the granules are just the right size/texture. The packaging is total girly fun (as with all S&G stuff!) and the price can't be beat, especially since this rivals other higher end scrubs that have failed to impress. Also, a little goes a long way- so the tube lasts quite awhile. This keeps my skin in tip-top condition, and as an added bonus quickly obliterates random zits without drying me out (although I always slather on a moisturizer post-scrub). I even use it when I get the ocassional blemish on my chest, back, etc- this works wonders for clearing things up. The only issue I have with this is using it as a mask- in this case, the product becomes SUPER drying and irritating, to the point where it burns. Unfortunately, one lippie comes off for that. So I'll stick to this as a scrub only, but I can see where this would make a great mask for oilier, less sensitive complexions. Will absolutely be re-purchasing! continued >>

I searched for this product in MUA and glad i found reviews! I got this scrub/ mask in target..something about this line (marketing!) was attractive and so is their website!

Anyway, this product appealed to me for one main reason - one of the main ingredients is diatomaceous earth (hope i spelt that right). The use of this ingredient, I have found is for wading off fleas in a household of pets, i use the food grade powder, very effective. Ok, i read in some beauty mag while i was due for my haircut..some french beautician in an interview did mention about diatomaceous earth as a very good scrub to reduce oiliness (especially after doing an OCM routine). She had mentioned that skin cleansing method is first to massage a cream or an oil on face, then use a scrub and then use SOAP! This according to her was the right way to cleanse.

So something prompted me to try the soap and glory scrub. It is not a miracle worker after a use. It could be drying if the mask is left for long but i never had a problem as my skin is combination-oily, so the scrub/ mask helps.. It is light green in color. Minty in fragrance that morning usage is so ideal to wake up our senses. I do find after regular use, my face is less of pores. I am trying a lot of natural stuff so i cant say for sure if this is the one which is most effective. But surely for the texture, the minty smell and the fact that it has a natural abrasive would probably make me purchase this stuff again. Having said that the tube of the scrub will last long. It costed me around 12.99 in target.

I use it rarely esply i use in summer. It is very useful in warmer months after a long hike or biking, you have a lot of grim on your face and that can be nearly vanquished with this scrub.

One lippie off for inaccessibility other than Target (instore or online) in the US.

Thanks for reading!

i personally really like this, it smells good and the particles don't leave your face feeling damaged, i get the occasional beastly spot and since using this i've had no breakouts at all, i enjoyed the feel of it and the minty fragrance, i wouldn't leave it on for too long if you have dry skin or dry spots because it can be quite drying (whilst used as a mask) but overall i think it's pretty good. well done again soap and glory.

I love this stuff! It smells good, it feels good on my skin, and it makes my skin look good afterward! It has sort of a nice minty fresh feel while I have it on my face as a mask, and when I use it as a scrub I can feel the little bits of diatomaecus earth scrubbing away the dead skin. After I use it as a scrub, my skin feels very smooth and refreshed. It really helps keep my skin clear when I use it as a mask a few times a week and as a scrub twice daily. Even with how often I use it, it has never dried out my skin even slightly. It's expensive, but it's worth it, considering this is one of the best skin care products I've ever used!

This is my first review, but I had to tell people about my AWFUL experience with this product. I have break out prone sometimes sensitive skin and this burned like my face was on fire. I've has chemical peels at the dermatologist and they haven't hurt like this. I tried it again as a mask, thinking maybe it was the scrubbing that was irritating and it was even worse. The worst part of this is, it made me break out so much I'm still dealing with it 3 weeks later. If you have sensitive skin, I would definitely recommend a patch test. Will never buy again.

I bought this for $12 but I haven't gone through half the bottle yet and i've had this for a month. It's worth it. I love it!

SCRUB YOUR NOSE IN IT is a 2-in-1 product. It can be used as a daily facial scrub & once or twice a week apply it to dry skin, leave 3 minutes then wash off for a pore unclogging mask.

I have dry, sensitive skin, but have no problems with this. As a facial scrub it is non-scratchy & as a mask it doesn’t ‘burn’ my skin like many other ones do. My skin always feels smoother after use & as the product is minty; my skin feels tingly & fresh. It’s a wonderful, clean sensation.

I’ve been using this product for months now; I get very few spots & I still haven’t experienced any redness, rashes or itchiness with almost daily use.
