I bought this product quite a while ago and I'm almost through 3/4 the bottle.
Pros:
I absolutely love this product. It keeps my nails very strong and I notice that my nails grow really fast since I've been using it.
Cons:
My nails turn yellow after removing the polish.
It's incredibly difficult to get anymore product out of the bottle even though I see a huge amount pooled at the bottom of the bottle.
The product is around $17-$18 in the US and I find that a bit pricey for a product, even if I love it.

This is, by far, the best nail strengthener out there. It makes your nails hard like a rock. You only need one coat. I find with consistent use of this product, my nails get long. They don't chip, crack or peel.
Applying this product regularly does not dry out my cuticles or nails at all. It smells pretty much the same as any other nail polish.
This product is on the pricey side. In Canada, it costs $20+. I think it is well worth it. I have never come across a product as effective as this one.
The product can be purchased at a number of salons or beauty outlet stores (e.g. Trade Secrets). You'll get a better deal at the beauty outlet stores.
You also don't need to apply it everyday. I find I need to use it roughly 2-3 times a week. Stays on great and leaves your nails rock hard, even if you are constantly using your hands for cleaning, etc.
One negative I found is that when the polish starts to get low, for example, when there is about 25% left in the bottle, it will dry out. I have found that this happens to me everytime, regardless of how long I've had the bottle for or how I store it. Reminds me of mascara that way...you'll never finish the entire bottle before it dries out. The product is otherwise PERFECT, and a staple in my nail care routine.

I got this as a gift and never really heard of it until then. I read some reviews and figured I'd give it a shot. I have the most stubborn thumb nail known to mankind...when it grows up so far it splits so far down my nail that it hurts when I have to trim it. The only thing that ever solved it was having LCN nails. I usually have perfectly manicured nails and a stub nail on my right hand - gross!
I read a few reviews saying this product cured split nails and I was excited to see if it would work for me. To my surprise, it worked wonders and my nail is now back to normal again! It grew up past the point and didn't split and is now the length of every other nail on both my hands! It has made my nails stronger and more resistant to breaks! It dries super fast and the brush (like all OPI polishes) is big and makes it easy to apply. I know a lot of people on here say its not a base coat....its a treatment but it totally doubles as a great basecoat. When I apply nail polish over this its way more smooth and adheres to my nail really well....making my manicure last at least 3-4 more days longer than usual (I use OPI's base coat normally).
The only downside was I find it did make my nails a little yellow. But I never wear my nails bare so its not a huge deal for me. Its not even noticeable...just a slight colour. I can't comment on the price - as it was a gift but its definitely worth the money and I will repurchase when I run out of the bottle I have.
I dearly wanted to love this product, but it really didn't deliver after months and months of religious use. My brittle nails broke off even easier, peeled, and turned quite yellow near the end. The only thing I really like about this product was the brush. I wish I didn't waste my money. It's not the worst thing I've ever used, but it definitely didn't live up to the hype.

I had very high hopes for this product after reading steller reviews all over the internet. My nails are very thin, bendy, and often flake. I cannot grow them out as a result. I bought this product at Target, and they did not display the price. When I got up to pay for it and it rang in at $17, I thought, "wow, that's a lot, the reviews must be true if this is so expensive".
Well, I'm glad it worked for so many other people, but it has not worked for me. For one, when I wear this alone, my nails look yellow-tinged and gross. It works pretty good as a base coat- I noticed an improvement in the way my polish was adhering and I do not experience peeling like I usually do. So that's great- but I have used base coats that work much better for way less than $17 (Seche Clear, to be exact).
After using this product pretty regularly for months now, I have not noticed any significant improvement in the condition of my nails- they are still thin and flake easily. I will not buy this again.

I've been using this for about 2 months and it definitely worked.
I've always had a hard time growing my nails because they tend to break easily =\ this made them stronger and less prone to breaking, but I still have the problem of the tips of my nails flaking off every now and then. I will purchase again because I do see an improvement, and if I stop using it they would be much worse off >_<
I have not had the problem of my nails turning yellow, they look healthy and brighter

I had tried this a few years ago and while I was happy with the strengthening results It tended to make my nails yellow so I stopped using it. I have tried so many base coats since (not necessarily strengthening ones as I don't really need it) and have recently come back to nail envy. The reason being I found that when I used it before it was the best base for adhering my polish to my nails. I get much longer chip free wear when I use this and it works great with all brands I have tried so far.
To counteract the yellowing of my nails I apply a coat of OPI Natural Nails base first then the Nail Envy and this gives the same hold plus the benefits of the strngthening ingredients without any yellowing. This is my HG combination. I gave it 4 lippies because of the yellowing on its own but used with the other base becomes 5 lippies. I will most certainly be purchasing again.

Love this product, its the only one that strengthens my nails, which before was weak and soft. They bends easily and could not grow long without cracking and breaking. I could not use nail polish and this makes me sad. I've tried Poshe basecoat and Sally hansen's miracle growth. But they did nothing.
OPI's nail envy in addition to Solgar's skin nail hair supplement strengthened my nails. I can wear nail polish now. I've recently bought a second bottle in matt formula and love the finish better.
a year ago I was going through my sister in laws nail polishes looking for a simple clear coat when I came across nail envy. I tried it on and within two days my nails were noticeably longer and stronger. I thought it was amazing since I am a nail biter and often have short brittle nails. I love this product, its my go to nail savior. love it!
Well i definately delayed with buying this product as its so expensive,i paid 22euros.which is quite alot for a nail treatment in my opinion, one pay day i decided to splurge. My nails have no problem with growth however they are weak and split so they never really get anywhere. I find this has improved my nails, you are meant to apply to dry clean nails,it goes on very shiney i have to say but there definately is a yellow undertone to it.im kinda on the fence about it though although it has improved my nails,im not sure about the price and whether it is really worth it.im going to continue with it and see maybe in a month if i notice a vast difference that will warrant the price.all in all i have to say if you are happy to splash out i would recommend this product.
