I've been using this BB cream for about 3 weeks, after switching from the Garnier BB cream. This stuff covers everything really well, and with a little bit of practice, blends into your skin easily, too. I like that the smell isn't awful like it was with the PF organic tinted moisturizer. My skin doesn't seem to be breaking out any more than it normally does, either, which is great. I set it with Clinique Blended Face Powder. I bike to work (and definitely sweat) and my make-up still looks really fresh by the end of the day. I'm not looking oily or greasy. The colours are a little dumb- I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear this in winter because of how dark the light/medium shade is.
However, my one qualm with this stuff is that it doesn't like to come off of my face! I wash my face with Cetaphil cleanser and then tone with Simple Soothing Face Toner, and it always looks like most of it comes off on the little cotton pad when I tone my face!! It doesn't seem to be hurting my skin at all, but I just really like to not feel like I have make-up on at the end of the day. Maybe I just need to start buying make-up wipes. I think I'd buy this again! I haven't found any other foundation/BB cream/tinted moisturizer like it.
I bought the Super BB set from Wal Mart this past Saturday, 8/10. I got the concealer, cream and powder in a boxed set for $19.96. So far I really like it - concealer covers well w/o being too heavy, same for the cream. And I love the powder as well - great finish to the cream. Definitely worth tryin!
I like this product so much that I'm willing to go buy some Manic Panic Dreamtone white to make the color work for me. The light/medium is too dark for me, even with my summer "color" (I'm still freaking pale) but the finish and coverage is just beautiful, and it lasts! Will update my review once I get the Dreamtone.
LOVE IT - and this is from a finicky girl! People who give low ratings for PICKING THE WRONG COLOR should be voided!
I have a hard time finding BB creams that sit well on my skin without looking pasty or just overall bad. This one is perfect! I have sensitive skin that can be both dry or oily. This BB cream sits perfectly no matter what kind of skin day I'm having!
It camouflages my pores wonderfully, doesn't sit or create crease lines, and doesn't end up looking like dried paste a few hours into wear.
I'd say it has medium coverage, but its perfect natural looking coverage. It helps cover scars and dark circles a lot and quite evenly!
BEST PART - it doesn't make me break out! And it doesn't make me shiny! It's weightless and doesn't make your face smell weird!
The only thing to watch for is that they run pretty dark! I get Light/Medium but have to blend a bit of bronzer at my jawline/neck area. It's not obscene, just make sure to blend well.
Other than that this product is AWESOME. No complaints. And for $13 it is 100% worth it. Far better than products I've paid fives times more for!
This is my very 1st BB cream I tried to make this work but it has turned me orange! I got the medium to dark color but it was a major fail. I had tried this because I had heard nothing but good things about this BB cream but it is sadly a no go. I am searching for my receipt now to see if I may return it.
This is the 2nd BB I have bought. This one from PF is thicker than the other I tried and it leaves a greasy feel to skin for the most part. I have combination skin and this BB just brings out the more oily side of my skin. It covers well and looks good right after application but if I add powder and such after it dries, later in the day my skin shines like crazy. It's good if you are just looking for a sheer coverage type product. Not worth the 13 bucks at all.
This is my first ever BB cream and I ususally like PF products although most items are a little pricey for drugstore. I picked this up with high hopes. I am 53, combo skin, oilier in the t-zone, drier around the perimeter of the face. I haven't had issues with breaking out for years and have a clear luminious look to my skin which I love. I tried this on 2 separate occassions and both times have removed to find pimples after only a few hours of wear. The color matches me almost flawlessly and the slightly dewey finish suits me fine. But the first time I removed I had 2 medium sized pimples. Didn't connect what caused them. Yesterday I wore this to church, put on makeup about 10:30am and removed it about 6:30pm about 8 hours of wear to find a rather large pimple again. Now I have 3 ugly spots on my face and this is the only thing that has changed in my routine. Needless to say I won't be wearing this again. If I had not had this breaking out issue I would have given it 5 lippies, but it just doesn't agree with my skin. Alas, this is going into my pile of unused makeup. This is great for older slightly drier skin, wouldn't recommend for oilier complexions as it wouldn't wear very well. Color selection is a little lacking but workable. I have about a NC35 right now as I fake tan, so the lightly olive undertones work for me now.
First off, this is my first BB cream EVER!!! I wasn't expecting too much from this: a very light foundation (but more moisturizing)with SPF and is good for your skin. This is incredibly expensive for a drugstore even with the Rexall sale! 20 DALLAS!!! So after I bought it, my mom decided to go into Food Basics with my sister so I decided to sit in the car to test it out. Can I just say the cardboard packaging is extremely difficult take off, but the actual tube is pretty shnazzy! At first glance, it looks pink. I guess I really wanted to like this BB cream because I kept imagining that the colour would adjust to my slightly olive complexion, but no. The colour makes my skin look fake and a little "sickly?" but I can work with it. It is decent coverage, covers redness, but still needs concealer for red pimples and scars. It takes awhile to set into my skin, and even after it sets into your skin, its a dewy finish, but slightly sticky. I also find that this is hard to blend and looks a little cakey. I have combination/oily skin and I find that this looks oily after 5 hours and when I touch up, I look REALLY cakey! A terrible summer bb cream. 3 hours before it gets shiny. Oh, an example! At church every Sunday I use this, and the church a little nippy; BUT!!! the bb cream still manages to look oily! Again 5 hours at church cuz I'm a pastors kid so I get there early to set up ! I would not repurchase. (Thus ends my longest review ever!!!)
Too orange even for my warm toned olive skin and my skin did not look good with this on.
At first I was worried about the limited color range (You can choose from light/medium or medium/dark) as I have difficulty finding foundation light enough for my pale skin. Surprisingly this wasn't a problem. Perfect for light makeup days or when it's too hot for full foundation. Covers a little bit but still looks like your skin. By no means is this a medium or full coverage product. It's not meant to be. Just something to spruce you up. I find Physician's Formula to be a bit expensive for a drugstore brand but that is the only drawback to this product.
