Loooove this product!
Stockholm is a rosy, natural looking nude which is great for when you want a nude lip color, but not too light so it washes you out.
The description of this product says "it's like nothing you've ever experienced before." This is definitely true. This product is very unique. It's not a lipstick, not a gloss, not a stain. It's a velvety soft cream that dries to a matte finish.
Yes, like with all matte products it did look a little dry after a while, but just apply a little more of this and it will look fresh again.
I would love to buy more of this product.
I have overdosed on orange/peachy shades lately and my search for a nice nude has either resulted in a) grey lips or b) shades too peachy that I already have enough of. This one is perfect for me! As others have said, it's got a little more pigment/pink to it to make it stand out from the rest of your face if you are fair (NW20 here) but it is a much better look for me than something that sinks my lips into my face. As a girl with not very full lips, it's not a good look for me. This is similar to the London color - but I felt that color would be too yellow/brown for me.
Packaging - no frills but great!
Consistency - creamy and dries nicely without flake-ifying the lips.
Would definitely repurchase. This would be a great extra to stash in my car.
Absolutely love this product - bought Stockholm and Monte Carlo and am planning to collect a few more.
What I love the most about it is the scent - it is this delicious sort of cupcake icing smell, I can't stop smelling the bottle!
The packaging is also awesome - sturdy lip gloss style, small enough to fit into any handbag.
Stockholm is a pinky peach nude, not the most flattering on me but I am giving it a high rating because it is such a fantastic product. I get a good 5 hours wear out of it, and it doesn't dry my lips out at all.
The doefoot applicator is a really easy way to apply the product - I actually find it easier than a lip brush, and I get real precision.
It dries down in a few minutes and you can reapply if you want it really opaque!
Overall, I am definitely purchasing more shades in this product and think that Stockholm may suit cooler toned girls.
p.s. I think some of the high end companies are releasing matte lip creams so get on this!
I heard rave reviews about this from some YouTube beauty gurus, and had to check it out myself! I love applying it; it applies so creamy and like a lip gloss but quickly sets to matte. The color is amazing and is orangey-pinky-natural on me. I do find, though, that it is like a stain so I have to be careful while applying it. The fact that it is similar to a stain is very good because I applied it after 1st hour at school, ate lunch with it, ate dinner with it, never reapplied, never got a bad taste in my mouth, put the clear baby lips over it and the color was still present when I got home. It is a bit drying though (not when applied, but later) so I recommend putting a lip balm under it and then if you feel the need a little later.
I absolutely adore everything about this. I was slightly skeptical about this particular color & the way it would feel, but once I got it home and tried it on, I was instantly in love. Stockholm is gorgeous, exactly what I was looking for. The cream itself is definitely very matte (perfect!), but it doesn't feel dry or unpleasant. It's actually quite smooth and soft, and has decent staying power. Personally, I will never, ever be a fan of gooey, sticky, super shiny lips, so this product really is perfect for me. Love it!
MLBB. Yes, yes, and yes. The most lovely pink-beige. The formula is amazing, too. I love how it goes on and then is matte but still soft (hence the name, I guess). Not drying at all. I also use it for a cream blush. If you want more moisture or shine, just use a little Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle (they are very similar in color) and you are set.
I also have this product in Antwerp, which is a brighter coral pink, but Stockholm is the best for me.
Love this! I generally forget to use lip products because they are a hassle to reapply and take with you when they inevitably wear off. However, I love how this looks on my lips and how long it stays. It is fuss-free and leaves a beautiful matte lipstick/gloss appearance on the lips without drying or feeling sticky. Thumbs up.
Generally, the Matte Creams dry to a budge-resistent, matte finish within 10 seconds of application; they'll come off with repetitive drinking and disappear very easily with any kind of oily food, as most lip products do, but they'll stick around through most wear quite well and won't bleed, even without a lip pencil. Overapplying will cause gumminess on the lips, so I would suggest no more than 2 light layers. I would also suggest, after it dries down, lightly smudging around the lips with your finger so blur the Cream into your natural skin--otherwise you risk leaving a very obvious ring of pigment around your lips. The formula is not 100% ideal for me, which is the only reason why I can't give it a full 5 lipsticks. But as for Stockholm the color itself: The official NYX swatch is way, way off from what the color looks like in real life. It's actually not as brown and more peach-toned. But, holy oyster crackers, I've finally found the perfect nude lip for me! There seems to be a common trend with warm-toned, pigment-graced lips reviewing this shade in particular--we haven't been able to find a great nude lip until now. If you have that kind of skin tone and particularly find yourself unwilling to sport the concealer lips that everybody else's HG nude lip gives you, give Stockholm a try. It isn't nude-nude on me, but very nude-toned MLBB (does that even make sense?! I'm sorry!). Although it's peach-toned, it still has a touch of fleshy rosiness to it that just dials my pigmented lips back a notch rather than take them out of the picture entirely. Try it with a good softly smudged black eyeliner and a fleshy nude blush (I recommend Tarte's Exposed). Insta-Bridget Bardot!
I am in love, LOVE, with this stuff. What I cannot stress enough is that though it IS matte, it's a creamy matte, not a dry look, and I don't find it drying at all. I think that if you use a moisturizing treatment at night (I use Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip) it eliminates the issue of dry lips during the day. In any case, I've found this color to be the perfect finish when I need to look "awake" in a hurry. I can use some BB cream, (I like garnier), mascara, and blush and throw this on my lips and feel finished. For $5.99 it's basically the deal of the century.
I've been looking for a nude for my very yellow NC30 skin tone for so long and I think I've found my holy grail. I also have the problem of having very very pigmented lips to the point where I'd almost given up hope finding a good nude or pink, but this nudes out my lips without making me look like a corpse and is a TRUE nude color, not pink or brown like a lot of nudes for medium tones claim to be.
