Hands down the best lip balm I have ever used, and I have used alot. The tube is long-lasting, and its contents are concentrated, thick, and effective for ridding my lips of winter crusty-chappedness. Highly recommended!
i absolutely ADORE this lipbalm. forgot which website i purchased it from but it's definitely a keeper. i usually wear it during the day, right before applying my lipstick. it definitely does a great job of moisturizing your lips but it's entirely too thick for night. that's when the big guns (CLEU DE PEAU) come it. lol! but this will forever be my daytime staple.
This is by far the best lip treatment I've ever used! If used sparingly it lasts forever. Put a little on before lipstick (but blot before applying lipstick) and it gives you plump, line free lips. Who needs collagen! Also works under gloss to dilute strong colours. I couldn't find it for a while because not a lot of stores seem to carry it, but thank goodness I found a new one that has it!
I'm on my 2nd tube of this lip balm. It's my HG. I'm a lip balm addict and have tried many, many (too many, hee hee) brands. I'm always looking for better but so far, Qtica and Victoria's Secret Balmy Nights are my 2 favorites.
I like to use this as a lip primer. It softens the look of lip liner and prevents the lip liner from drying out my lips. The only disadvantage of this product is it comes in a squeeze tube that is very hard to use when cold. The lip balm stiffens to the consistency of cold butter and takes some effort to squeeze out of the tube. All in all, though, a great lip balm for chapped, flaky lips. Great product. Will definately purchase again and again. I have tried every lip balm there is...La Mer, Nuxe, Kiehls, etc. definately the best. On the flip side do not apply too much or you will have white lips. I always use this under lip-gloss or lipstick. One tube will last and last so give it a try.
I love this lip balm. My lips constantly peel and crack and this helps. It stays on all day and does not cause pimples along the lip line. Wish they would take out the menthol, though. It can be an irritant and doesn't really do anything.
I think this stuff is just great! I love lipstick, but in the winter I can rarely wear it because my lips are chapped all the time. I've tried every lip balm out there, and even the good ones are greasy and seem to just sit on top of your lips. That's great for protection, but doesn't really heal them. This Qtica lip balm is very thick but sinks in and really moisturizes. It also gives lips a nice sheen. I haven't tried it under lipsticks yet. The price is steep at $11, but considering all the $3 chapstiks, lip ointments, etc. at the bottom of my bag........it's definately worth it!
11/7 edit! Well my lips got really chapped, and this balm didn't really help...what a disappointment! It felt so good, but I ended up using an old chapstick that worked better!
Love this balm! It works wonders on chapped lips, but more than that, it is a GREAT under-lipstick balm. A little dab of this on my lips in the morning, and my lips stay soft, regardless of how many times I have to reapply my lipstick. Will definitely repurchase this if I ever run out.
Thanks for the recommendations on this! It's pricey for a lip balm, but I just love it...it feels great and most important, really works on Canadian winter lips! I'd buy again!
I have been using Qtica for years and no other lip balm has proved itself more effective. It's packaged in a convenient and hygienic tube, but sometimes you will need to direct all of your muscles to your fingertips to get it out. The reason being this stuff is thick, which is in part why it works like a charm, protecting and sealing in moisture as it heals. The scent is h
