This mascara was a huge let down for me. I love the lash exact and was really excited to try the volume exact, who am I to turn down more volume for my lashes ? It fell short though, the formula and brush lead my lashes to clump terribly. I will never buy this mascara again.

It's not smudge-proof . I gave it several tried and I always ended up with rocoon eyes / panda eyes. I'm moving on in my search for perfect mascara.

Not sure why I've never reviewed this mascara. This is pretty decent... gives more volume and definition than the regular Lash Exact, and the brush is easy to work with. What I like about the CG mascaras is that the "very black" is always a nice, dark deep black.

But, alas, my good sentiments toward this were short-lived. This soon turned into a disastrous clump and gave me the effect of having 3-4 clumpy spikes as eyelashes. Sad, too, because it started off well.

I gave it a 5 because of it's quality for the price. In my opinion this is the best of the drugstore mascaras. I bought the very black and it looks great. I won't be going back to my more expansive brands.

I did not encounter any of the clumping or flaking the others reviewers reported.

Clumped so much on my lashes, even though I wiped the wand off a little before application. And it kept flaking! I won't buy again...

I love this mascara!! Works better than ts predecessor (Lash Exact) and does an amazing job separating, lengthening, and thickening. Whoever came up with the rubber bristle idea is a genius. My only complaint is a little clumping and it is a little dry.

I really like this mascara, but I'm still looking for my HG. It lasts through most of the day, at least as long as other good mascaras do on my lashes. It's good at separating my lashes and doesn't leave any clumps, but it doesn't deliver on volume. Still, it's decent and affordable, I've bought a couple tubes already, and will probably continue to re-purchase until I find my HG.

I thought great, lash exact for night. It's not, its mascara fallout before dinner time. I will not buy this again, I am very disappointed. At first use is great, layers each lash with product but the mascara dries out and falls off. I'll go back to Lash Exact if I'm going to buy CG again.

I actually bought this on a whim because I had seen it in an advertisement and wanted to try it since I liked the Lash Exact that CG had earlier released. A lot of people I've asked preferred this product over the Lash Exact, but personally I thought that this product just clumped way too much. I liked the Lash Exact way more! Sure it gave some volumization and a little definition, but that's about it. It didn't really give me any of the lengthening I needed for my puny Asian lashes. If you ask me, I wouldn't purchase this again personally, but for the dirt cheap price, I don't really mind that I'd wasted money on this product.

I just started wearing mascara a couple years ago. I bought this one b/c of the bristles..they are plastic. I like it alot. My lashes don't clump together and i see a noticable difference in lenght. My lashes are average length. This does it's job. I buy the non-waterproof as not to irritate my skin trying to get the waterproof off.
