I adore this brush! It applies foundation smoothly and distributes it evenly. It is important to clean it (as well as all other brushes) frequently so that it gives optimal performance. It is definitely a worthwhile investment.

This is a must-have!! A good quality brush makes all the difference!! I used to apply my foundation with a wedge sponge, but after I discovered #190, I notice how much lighter and even my foundation looked! Plus, my foundation started to last a lot longer (since I was not wasting any product anymore).

This brush came with the olive holiday set, which I bought in the first place for the contour blush angle brush. Until yesterday, the 190 brush was still in its wrapper(for about 2 mos.)when I decided to give it a try. I used it with my Studio Fix NC42 powder foundation and boy did it make a difference, it made my skin look flawlwess and the foundation more glowing on my skin even though the foundation is a matte one. I was debating on buying another foundation all together because I felt the studio fix wasn't working for me. I used the MAc sponge applicator, a duane reade wedge sponge, a foundation brush from Nordstrom's, and several kabuki brushes to apply my foundation with, with less than satisfactory results. But with the 190, my foundation looks better and more natural. Hooray for the Mac 190 brush!!

Amazing foundation brush! I've been putting on foundation with my fingers until I got this. It totally makes my makeup look flawless! I love to use it, feels like I'm painting my face with it!

Brilliant, i think its one of those things where you dont realise how great it ia at first, i first used it back in the day with my BECC luminous skin foundation but got so angry one day cause Luminous skin werent making me luminous and kinda bent the brush too hard (weird i know) but anyhows i camwe back to it and its kinda bentish now but still got great shape, enough to blend foundation beautifully which is great. WHAT CAN I SAY, MY PORES LOOK SMALLER, MY FOUNDATION LOOKS LIKE ITS MY SKIN...HA HA LOVER THE TRICKERY. Seriously so easy to use and blends seamlessly, was using my fingers before but now i feel like such a fooolish individual. You dont realise how great it is till u blend with fingers and then compare with blending a foundation brush. Seriously, everyone who's blending with fingers, at least go to the MAC counter and try to use this, it stills gives as heavy coverage too.
Aussi, bit odd those of you who are saying it streaks makeup, cant understand cause its so firm, maybe your applying too much. With me i have to see how much cant just dip brush in so i apply the foundation to face first like i did when i would blend with fingers i.e small dabs to forehead then chin, cheek etc. Then blend in.
Hope this review was useful, love u MUA GIRLS.XX

I was quite reluctant to buy this brush because of the price, but I'm so glad I did. I use this with the Select Moistureblend foundation, and it blends well, and evenly. As I like sheer coverage this really does the job for me. Haven't had any hairs fall out either which is a plus. Although it is quite pricey for me, it is a good investment in the long run.

This is definately worth getting! I got this brush with the Tailormade Pinstripe brush set. My fav MAC SA used this to apply Studio Tech foundation when he gave me a makeover. I loved how flawless my makeup looked as to compared to using a basic sponge to apply foundation. It really set down the foundation. He recommended I get this brush becuase it's a total must have. Better yet, I got it in the Pinstripe set with other brushes and saved money. I agree with me fav SA, it is a must have!

Excellent foundation brush!!!!!! I've been using for 1 year now and it still look as good as new. No more uneven application and messy fingers, it gives an even application and flawless skin. Recommended. Tip: Use Johnson's Baby Shampoo to clean your brush. Leaving it soft and clean.

I love this--it's the best thing for application and blending of foundation. I have other, more expensive brushes, but nothing works as well as this. This blends best--no streaks--and takes a BEATING. I use it all the time and wash it with regular hand soap and it looks as good as it did the first day I bought it. I doubt I would ever need another, but would absolutely buy this again, no question. Buy with confidence--this is GREAT! :)

There is absolutely no need to use a foundation brush. LAtex or non latex sponges work 110 times better. The foundation brush is very time cosuming and for $38 its defnetely not worth the hype.
