My HG cleanser (the ONLY one I will use) for well over a year now! I have dry, sensitive skin so finding a good face wash has been hard. Some seem moisturizing, but don't clean well enough. Others clean too harshly and irritate and dry out my skin. But this one is soooo good. This is gentle and cleans without stripping. No scent that I can detect, and the bottle lasts me a while. I am not kidding - I will cry if they ever stop making this.

I think I'm just a freak, but this cleanser made my eyes really red and itchy at times. At first I thought it was allergies, but then it kept getting worse and worse. I stopped using this and it went away after a couple days. It's not that great of a cleanser anyway, it didn't really calm my skin and my mom said it dried hers out. Plus, I felt it wasn't really that cleansing. I'm back to Cetaphil, I don't know why I even left it...

I still can't believe that this didn't work for me. I loved the foam and it cleaned my face well. It easily took off my makeup except for eyeliner and mascara but that's normal. It was not drying on my combo face either. The bad thing was that it made me break out! This was the only new thing I was using at the time and when I stopped using it, the new zits did too. I must have been sensitive to something that is in this cleanser...

I use this every day, morning and night. I was looking for something very gentle and soothing to use before I do my cleansing routine. I have a pinkish hue to my skin, and it tends to aggravate easily, making it red and blotchy. This cleanser seemed to be perfect for me! It has a foaming pump, which is nice because I only need one or two pumps to cover my whole face. When I rinse it off, my skin feels clean - slightly squeaky, but still soft. It felt very gentle on my skin. I don't use this as my only cleanser, as I have a scrub/toner/lotion combo that I use, and then follow it with a daily moisturizer. I also have combination skin, and this cleanser has never given me a problem. It will leave my skin slightly dry if I use it alone, but anything does, and I use moisturizer religiously. I use a lot of Aveeno products because I find them to be gentle and useful for me, and this cleanser is no exception.

I'm really on the fence about this one. While it is soothing, calming and not irritating (to me anyway) it really doesn't do much else! I find it very
ineffective in makeup removal, which is what I *thought* it might do (note to self-check P'ville before engaging in ALL purchases.) One way I "test" the efficacy of a cleanser is by using a toner afterward( I like Burt's Bees graden tomato-for some odd reason my skin doesn't run screaming from it) and discern how much dirt and makeup comes off onto the cotton.I may have washed my face with water; it gave me similar results.I'll keep it as an am cleanser and something for when my skin rebels against everything else.Imo, you're better off (and it is less $) to get the generic Cetaphil instead.( The pump dispenser is lovely, though :P ).

I've used this cleanser for over a year and have been mostly happy with it. I have rosacea and this cleanser is great for most days but does not do much if I am having a real flare up.
I like the way my skin feels when I use this, clean and soft, but I still need a real moisturizing regimen

All in all, I"ll keep using this until I find something I like better.

*PIC* Meh, not a bad product, but not the greatest either. I don't use a wash cleanser too often, but always keep one or two handy for days I'm too lazy to go through the whole cotton pad/tissue routine- but i still will use one cotton pad afterwards using my watery cleanser/toner. It does feel silky whilst I am washing my face with this and hasn't caused any irritation, (and I was pleasantly surprised not even any irritation on my sensitive eyes) but does leave my skin a tad too dry. Will use up, but I don't think i will re-purchase. Retails here for 11.00 euros.

This stuff was SO disappointing...I have combo skin and it's been really dry/irritated lately, so I bought this, figuring it would soothe my skin without causing me to breakout more. Well, it didn't cause any acne, but it certainly made the irritation worse!

I usually don't have allergic reactions to products, so I don't know what happened, but after using this wash my face feels so tight and dry...and it's never been this flaky! I wouldn't be so mad if this wasn't so expensive. What a waste of money! I should've known better because I've always hated Aveeno products...their lotion is AWFUL, it makes my skin DRIER when I use it.

If you're looking for a good face wash for irritated/dry/sensitive skin, look elsewhere.

This product is satisfactory but not HG wonderful. The pump system and the foam are great, and the cleanser does not seem to dry out or irritate my dryish skin, but it also doesn't really feel like it's cleaning, either. It certainly doesn't completely remove makeup, and I don't wear all that much. I prefer the Aveeno's cleansing power to that of Cetaphil, although Cetaphil feels better on the skin, but so far, nothing has worked better than Dove soap. I'd probably repurchase this if I can't find anything that works better.

Works exactly as advertised. My skin is really happy and feels clean when I use this cleanser. No breakouts or skin irritation after 1 month of use. My skin is a bit drier when I use this vs. the Cetaphil - so I alternate the 2. The foam pump on my bottle got stuck about 1/2 way through the product - so I have to fiddle with it a bit to get the foam out these days...

Update: I have found that it removes makeup OK - but mascara requires eye makeup remover BEFORE using the cleanser.
