Ruby Pumps is one of my favourite polishes ever. Gorgeous, glowy glittery red that never looks tacky.
Unlike a lot of glittery polishes, it isn't just glitter in a clear base.
Looks stunning worn alone (two or three coats needed) or over another red or black. Pairs amazingly with CG's Long Kiss.
I love this shade so much that I've ended up with four bottles & am keeping them all!
I LOVE this polish!!! It is the perfect glowy red without being too over the top. It's perfect for the holidays but can totally be worn year round. MUST BUY!!!
I don't normally like glitter polishes for me, but these China Glazes have a glitter that truly is micro-fine and doesn't look like it's for a young child or trashy. It's just glowy, and it doesn't look old-lady frost, either!
This is a gorgeous red, that wears very well, but you will want to remove it with acetone and felt - you've been warned! - if you don't, you'll be removing your polish upwards of an hour, no joke.
I got this shade as part of the Sleigh Ride collection for the 2008 holiday season.
Ruby Pumps is a bright red glitter that provides full coverage in two to three coats. It would be fine on its own for the holidays, but I'd wear it over a deep red during the rest of the year to tone down the brightness.
My favorite red glitter, Revlon Firecracker, is quite difficult to find nowadays, but this is a welcome alternative.
I love this color such a nice red with glitter..it is tough to get off thou as with all glitter polishes...I love china glaze and their quality of polishes will buy again :)
This is a beautiful red, and I don't usually get reds. It is so lovely and reminds me exactly of the name, ruby pumps. The sparkle in it is gorgeous without being childish. Nicely suits my NC25 skin tone but I think it would suit many different skin tones. If you can at least try it, the little picture doesn't do this colour justice.
EDIT: Nov 3rd '08, Still am in love with this. I didn't put a top coat on it and it has lasted really well over the span of 6 days.
I absolutely love this color. It's perfect for all those Christmas parties. This is one of my favorite red polishes of all time. I stumbled onto Ruby Pumps in my desperate search for Ruby Slippers, a color very popular from Victoria's Secret a few years ago. The two colors are not similar in any way, but the search led me to the gorgeous Ruby Pumps. When it is paired with "Lubu Heels", a black with red glitter, you get the LUBU manicure. Using the sparkly "Ruby Pumps" as the "sole" and "Lubu Heels", for the "upper", the Lubu Manicure is a glitzy Hollywood design. The famous Louboutin Manicure was created by Zoe Pocock. I had to have this for the LUBU Manicure. I could not be left out of the "craze" for this color or the manicure. I am still searching for a replacement for Ruby Slippers.
Awesome color! I'm not usually a big fan of reds, but this is gorgeous. The shimmer gives this red a beautiful, glowy look. It was also easier to use than most cremes because it seems to be more forgiving of mistakes. Definitely my new favorite fall color! (Not that it can't be worn in the summer as well ;) )
Let me start off my saying that I am *not* a fan of glitter polishes. I think they just look trashy. However, this red glitter polish manages to be perfectly classy. Since the glitter is so small, at some angles this only looks like a nice sheen. And unlike a lot of other polishes with similar formulas, this one only takes two coats to opacity. Another great thing about this polish is that if it chips its no big deal to swipe the a bit of back over the nail then add another coat of topcoat. Looks brand new! I am definitely going to wear this one during the holidays!
I love this, this is just like Dorothys slippers from the wizard of oz! My BF even loves he told me to buy a backup! Lol
