It smudged! Smudged badly, and very quickly! Won't buy again.
I looooooove this eyeliner!!!! I picked 2 of these up from a lovely swapper on MUA and have found this to be my favorite!!! It glides on so easily and I can finally line the top of my eyes without tugging and redoing it. Plus it's self sharpening and cheap. It's great!
I'm a fairly new user to Glimmersticks. They go on easily (except my blackest black seems to keep breaking). And in time, they smudge under my eye. But a little touch up can take care of that. I really enjoy how easy these are. I like not having to sharpen (and then dull) this pencil. I have pretty much all the colors, and I recommend.
I have this in cosmic brown and I like it very much - I think it is worth the price. But the colors are so boring - no bordeaux or plum-brown... I will buy Rimmel in that color. No need to sharpen too.
This is a very good eye liner. Does not smudge and stays on all day -- even better then the Clinique one I purchased which cost about 4 times more.
I received a new one in a swap from a lovely swapper in Blackest Black. I've heard and heard about these over and over again and I thought it would become a staple. Lo and behold, it smeared and faded a bit. I was def. better off with the waterproof version. For those who do not have oily lids like me, can pull this off. It's up for swap if anyone's interested. :o)
I was reading reviews here and decided to try some avon make-up for the first time ever, and i have to say i am really disappointed in the glimmersticks. they were very reasonably priced, but didn't perform well. i got 2 of them--green velvet and starry night blue. the green velvet wasn't as bright of a green as a i wanted. and from another user's review, i thought the starry night blue would be a deep true blue without hint of black, but i was wrong, it's more like a dark navy blue. the glimmersticks certainly were very smooth gliding on, but would smudge so much under my eyes after just half an hour. i do have oily skin, but have never experienced this with any other liner. i have now gone to chanel's cake/cream eyeliner (which isn't available in the united states--i purchased it on ebay), and am loving it so much. though it's much pricier, the staying power is well worth the cost.
This eyeliner is self sharpening which is a plus! I bought this color in Blackest Black. It goes on smooth, my problem is that if you put it on your lower lid, it will smudge at the end of the day, I suggest it is for lining the top lid, NOT THE BOTTOM!
I just got a few of these and have been pretty pleased. I've always had a problem with applying eyeliner (particularly my upper lid). Every pencil I tried dragged, skipped or wouldn't show up much unless I applied an uncomfortable amount of pressure. Glimmersticks transferred fairly smoothly and were much easier to use. The eyeliner does a good job making it through the day, but it does have a tendency to smudge on me, particularly under the eye. I also wish, it came in more colors. At the moment, there isn't even a good violet color available. Would repurchase.
