This is a pretty tame color, perfect for wearing to work. Not my favorite but I will wear it. Surprisingly, it's the first one that I've hit pan on. It looks great with greensmoke. It makes a really natural, pretty eye, and I could see it looking good with any eye color. Very versatile, albeit not totally exciting. I would repurchase however, just for the fact that it's appropriate to wear to work.

Patina is a light to medium toned shimmery cool brown that has some shimmers of green. I don't reach for it very often and so would not purchase. It just doesn't do much for me. I think it would work best on a person with light hair and green or hazel eyes.
I am NC30-35 and this color looked horrible on me. Made me look very tired, not the look I am going for.

I absolutely love this eyeshadow. I own over 20 MAC eyeshadows and I've never gone through one except for this one. This is probably the only eyeshadow I can wear alone over my lid. For reference I'm an NC43. Patina is amazing!! It also looks great all over the lid with Mulch or Woodwinked in the crease. I will keep buying this eyeshadow as long as I need to.
This is a beautiful color. This is what Websters defines as Patina:
1 a: a usually green film formed naturally on copper and bronze by long exposure or artificially (as by acids) and often valued aesthetically for its color b: a surface appearance of something grown beautiful especially with age or use.
This is not green, this is the color before the patina forms. A beautiful
brown with golden slightly pink highlights in it. Truly a gorgeous, and flattering shade. Go with the second definiton is grows beautiful with use!!!! Will definitely purchase again!
Fantastic natural colour on me, works well as a slightly shimmery natural shade for every-day use, especially for work use. The golden -brown is gentle enough to enhance the eyes with minimal application, it barely looks like you're wearing shadow but adds a great shimmer and depth to someone with fair skin.
Lasts for ages, good quality. Applied best with a blending brush. Can also be used as a shimmer base for other darker colours, but is not suitable as a highlighter.
I bought this once and broke it, and went back for it immediately. It's a subtle, shimmery taupe that I love on it's own with black liquid liner or as a smokier look with Greensmoke in the crease and lower lash.
I personally didn't like this one, which I bought per a recommendation from a MA...it was too warm for me and didn't mix well with other colors, I def. returned it.
