The smell gets one lippie - it's light and refreshing. The product is awful. It just sat on my hair and left a coating when rinsed. No moisturizing properties for my head of hair. It touts that it works for thick, color-treated hair...not the case. I'm glad is wasn't that costly though, a rather cheap mistake. Like with the Detangling Spray, there are much better alternatives out there.

I don't hate this product, but it doesn't really do much for my hair. I prefer Deeep from bumble over this for a weekly deep conditioner..
I know I've seen this online with the tub packaging (which isn't my preference), but I found this in a tube, for about $18 CDN. I needed something that would moisturize and get my hair back in shape, after having had a ridiculous deep-fry moment with Feria (I swear I'll never be able to stop talking about this.) I was afraid that with one 25-minute color application, I'd just managed to reverse all the years of care I've put into keeping my wavy, frizz-prone hair silky and soft. My hair hasn't seen more than a week's worth of frizzy days in the years I've been Fekkai'd and Hayashi 911'd, but all of the sudden, even my glossing cream wasn't helping my stiff, strawlike locks. I started using Biolage Hydrating Shampoo, and that started to help. But on the day that I deep conditioned with this balm, that's when I got the silk factor back - it completely restored and revived my hair. It's like I never met Feria. So my undying thanks to Matrix for the Conditioning Balm. You totally delivered.

This is one of the best deep conditioners I've tried. I left it in for 15mins and it made hair hair so smooth and soft!
Hmm, this dried my hair out with continued use. I suppose there's just not enough moisture in it. At first it seemed ideal, but after regular use it just didn't make the cut.
I was looking for a good, deep conditioner that wouldn't weigh my hair down. This seemed to fit that bill pretty well, as I love most of the Biolage products. Lately, my hair has been pretty dry due to straightening treatments and so I picked this up. I left it on longer than the recommended 3 mins. and was pretty pleased at the results. My hair feels strong, silky and is quite shiny which is much needed after all this processing. I only gave it a four lippie because I think this did not condition as much as I was looking for, but will update soon after I've been using for awhile. Good stuff!
i decided to try this out b/c my hair hasn't been as healthy as usual...it's been sort of dry and dull. =/ i'm pleasantly surprised by how much i like this stuff though! =) it's quite pricey (got this @ CVS for about $22 for 16.9 fl oz/500 ml tub) but well worth the money. the smell is to die for!-->a very clean scent that isn't overpowering. the texture is great...feels very rich and detangles hair really well leaving it sooo soft and smooth. i've only used this product twice thus far but think this might be my HG conditioner. i've been searching for my perfect conditioner for the past few months and had settled for Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep which is also quite good but not HG material for me. this conditioning balm seriously makes my hair feel like silk. the price is a bit high but i'll def. be buying this again. oh yeah!-->and as for the packaging...the whole tub thing doesn't really bother me since it's a hair care product (as opposed to a lip or face product), but just for a heads up this conditioning balm actually comes in a squeeze tube (w/ less product) for about $10 less. also: the day i bought this i also purchased the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. i have yet to try it but am thinking of using it today. i doubt i'll like it as much as my Biolage Conditiong Balm but will update after i try the Neutrogena stuff out. ****UPDATE: i'm not totally sure which product i like best btw. this and the Neutrogena Triple Moisture hair mask, but i'm pretty sure the Neutrogena does more for my hair...or maybe it's a combination of the two? i'll update again after i test drive only one product at a time =0)...but till then if u want to try a deep conditioner i'd grab the Neutrogena b/c it's much cheaper and from what i can tell thus far it's better continued >>
