This product is a great matte bronzer for it's price and being at the drugstore. This is better used as a contour than a regular bronzer and only shows on fair to medium tan skin tones. It should be used with an eyeshadow primer to contour because it doesn't last long by itself. Since the price of this product is so cheap and the performance is pretty good after experimenting I give it 5 lipsticks!!!
I can see how fair-skinned girls would enjoy this bronzer. However, this does nothing to me. I tried to pack on this stuff with my brush (like a ton) but nothing shows up on my skin. Mind you I am not even close to dark - more in the medium tone range. On me this looks like a flesh tone although in the packaging, the colour looks like a promising bronze. Overall, works for those with lighter complexions - won't work if you're medium/tan/dark skin toned.

I've used this product pretty much everyday for the past 6 months. I'm about NC15, and it doesn't make me look muddy or orange or anything like that. It's just a really nice shade for us pale folks. The thing I hate about it is the packaging. Like a few others have said, I'm afraid the top will fall off. But, it didn't cost that much so I guess they skimped on the packaging instead of the product, and the product is all that matters!! Definitely worth a try.
I use this bronzer everyday to slim my face. It looks very natural on my NC20 golden skin. I use the "3" method and it looks so natural, no orange at all. Completely matte, looks nice and smooth on your face (when you run your finger across the powder it's a little rough and textured, but on the face it looks fine). I've been using this since March 2010 and I've used up about 50% of it, I imagine for paler ladies it would last a lot longer. The compact is cheap looking and it seems like the plastic hinge could break at any moment - but it hasn't and it's been 6 months. It has a big mirror too! This cost me around $2.50 at Target and I think it's a great deal, I would def. repurchase if I can't find anything better - I want to try the ELF bronze/blush duo next because I heard that was a dupe of Laguna.
I always keep this matte bronzer in my kit simply for the universal ease of application. It's perfect for pale girls and very sheer so it never looks like you've been "attacked" by the sun .. just kissed by it which is what everyone wants in a bronzer. I took some points off for packaging but for me, it's the product that matters and this one is a goodie! I will repurchase when I run out but it seems to have lasted quite a while with lots of use..I still haven't hit pan and have been using it on clients and family for a matte bronzer choice. It's subtle and lovely. Gives a nice bronzy peachy flush! Of course it is somewhat limited as it doesn't work as well on deeper skin tones, the shade is too light and sheer.
EDIT!!! I LOVE this bronzer for myself..it is my favorite bronzer EVER for my skin tone...it gives me a rosey, peachy bronze look that awakens my complexion and cannot be duplicated by any other matte bronzer. VIVA LA NYC!!

I originally got this bronzer since it got so much hype on YouTube but I really didn't see how great it was until recently. I've probably had it for about 5 months now? I'm NC 25-30 and it definitely shows up on me. I use it to contour and since my foundation is too light for me (since I get darker during the summer) I use it to darken my foundation. So versatile. I've had it all this time and finally fallen in love! I definitely think it's one of those products you'll have to get and judge for yourself and see how it works for you.

LOVE THIS! I strayed away from it to try other bronzers but whenever I get bored of my other bronzers and use NYC Sunny again, I fall back in love with it! I like it better than MAC Solar Riche and Refined Golden. It is fairly similar to Solar Riche but NYC Sunny is matte and lighter color. I don't experience any streaks or problems blending. I use it with the "3/E" technique, to contour the hollows of my cheek, or just on the side of my cheeks like blush. This bronzer doesn't pull orange on me and produces a nice matte light peach/tan color on me. It takes a couple swipes and application to get the color to show up on my skin (MSFN Medium Dark). Also, to get the best use of this bronzer you will need a brush that can actually pick up the product. The product isn't powdery but very packed which is why a good dense brush is needed. I don't recommend this for tan/dark skin tone ladies.

I wanted to like this a lot. I heard this was a lot of ppl's go to drugstore bronzer. I tried this and the Rimmel natural bronzer, and I'm pretty disappointed. I was wearing Sunny one day and checked out my makeup in my car. I hadn't blended the bronzer enough where I used it to contour, and it looked orange. Not horribly orange, it was pretty sheer- but I had to blend it out with my fingers, and I'd much rather go with Beneift's Hoola instead.
Also, it's hard to pick up, you really need a dense angled blush brush, it's pressed pretty tightly and doesn't have a good color payoff.
