Perfect 5's all around for this lippie. This is my most used lipstick as it is a beautiful pink that can also serve as a nude. I just swipe this on & instantly feel more put together. Despite how outrageous Nars' prices are, I would buy this again just because I haven't found another lipstick in this color that is as wearable, pretty, & long lasting as this one. continued >>

This color is sheer dusty rose and enhances almost anyones natural lipcolor. This definitely is one of those YLBB shades. I recommend this and Gypsy to almost anyone.

I ordered this during Sephora's FF sale (without actually trying it on in a store first) because how much people talk about it on the mu board. I didn't expect it to be a neutral/pink brownish shade (I thought it was more of a nude ls) but it is GORGEOUS. I just tried it on today and got so many compliments on it already. It's definitely a YLBB look, enhances my lip color subtly (my natural lip color is almost the same exact shade as this lipstick, a tad lighter). I have SO many l/s and nothing else looks like it. I love how I can just put this lipstick on without any other makeup on, it's so awesome =D

Beautiful muted rosy raspberry shade. Doesn't really show on my naturally pigmented lips though.

I bought it due to all the hype, but alas, I never reach for it.

I like the texture of NARS lipsticks though. Goes on nice and smooth, and no weird smell or taste either.

It is a bit $$ for a lipstick in my opinion, not sure I would re-purchase

Gorgeous color! This is a favorite of MA's everywhere for a reason--it's LOVELY. Deep berry, sheer, YLBB shade. Creamy and moisturizing--don't even need lip balm under it. Stays put for hours (sort of like a lip stain does). Docked one lippie because it doesn't have SPF, but even that is a stretch. This really pulls your face together in a hurry--even if you're not wearing any other makeup. I can just slap this on as I'm running out the door--and I don't look quite so much like the harried mother of two toddlers that I am. Will always have some in my beauty arsenal--it's a staple. You won't regret it. :)

I don't know what possessed me to purchase this product. I have heard good reviews about it but my experience tells me I've been majorly ripped off by getting this. First of all, the color is not really that unique. I could get Bloom lipstick in Pout which has better texture and staying power for almost half the price of Dolce Vita. My biggest gripe is the texture. It basically just sits on top of my lipbalm and doesn't settle on my skin, and it fades an hour right after application. It is not creamy, although not drying, but the texture is really so off. I am more satisfied with my Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick for less than half the price and really, for $23 a pop (plus tax), I expected a lot more from this lippie. Obviously won't repurchase.

This is a much lighter color than I usually go for.. I tend toward warm reds since I have medium olive skin. I noticed that NARS colors sometimes look very different in the tube, than they do on your lips, so you really have to try them on your lips before buying. Victoria's Secret just reopened here and has been carrying NARS. I spent some time going through all the colors. I already own many of the NARS reds, my favorites being Zanzibar and Mongolian Red, but I wanted something different. Dolce Vita is it! This shade is a bit warmer than most colors in this family, as a previous reviewer noted. Yes, it's vaguely mauvey, but it works with my olive skin, so I really can't call it a cool color, it's more of a true neutral. A really classy color that would be good for the office, but I think it's sexy, too, in an understated way. It is more or less the exact shade of my lips, just a tad darker, with a nice soft sheen. It is also one of the more moisturizing NARS lippies. I don't find it drying at all. It is extremely expensive but I think it;s money well spent!

This is a very pretty lipstick on my Asian NC30 face, and it definitely is MLBB. So why only 3 lippies? The price, the price, the price. Don't get me wrong: I'm a huge fan of NARS Red Lizard, so I do like NARS lipstick, but if I'm shelling out $23 it better be something special. Red Lizard is "something special," but La Dolce Vita is not. Revlon Moisturous in Mauve so Moist gives me the same polished MLBB look, with SPF, at 1/3 the price.

This is the color to use if you want to look like you were blessed with naturally pigmented rosy lips. It has a sheer texture, but lasts pretty long. No scent or taste. I don't have a problem with dryness, but I use a glossy lip-balm on top of most of my lipsticks. For reference, I'm an LLL with light pink lips.
