This is the best drug store mascara I have found so far. It lasts a long time without getting clumpy. It extends, darkens and separates lashes. All a girl needs.

I got this mascara in a swap on MUA. I tried it out for the first time today and I was impressed. I have pretty long eyelashes so I usually use mascara for separating my eyelashes and also to make them look more fuller and darker. The Lash Blast mascara did not disappoint. My eyelashes were fuller and longer and I did not have a problem with clumping. My eyes were kind of watery today due to the below zero temperature in Chicago and the mascara did not smudge or run. This mascara is also hypo allergenic. I also love the way the brush is made. It has big bristles and it helps separate each and every lash. This may be my HG mascara but there are so many more to try but for now this is the one for me.

For me, Lash Blast does not offer the full and voluminous results suggested by its advertisements, and reviews from others who have used it. The only pro is that it does not clump, and defines each lash (quite) well, but I wasn't look for definition, and so in terms of volume, it certainly did not live up to its job. Smudges a little, but not a big factor. Will never buy again.

I had originally tried this product my usual way, 2 coats on the top after curling and a light coat on the bottom. This was completely unsatisfactory (I like a heavier, more dramatic look, liks falsies but not to the point of drag queen lashes), so I gave it to my sister.

A few months later, I came across it again and decided to see how many coats it would take to actually get it to where I liked it/how Drew Barrymore had it in the ad. I got there, eventually, and the best result was after not curling, but holding lashes up with the wand. I think the final count was about seven coats, and man, are they up!

So, it does add drama, I'll give it that, but I don't like the new brushes everyone's using, so that's a deterrent. Also, it shouldn't take this many coats - if I want that, I'll just use falsies, or two coats of Volum' Express.

UPDATE: I tried this after my usual full curling, and maybe it was because it's a new tube, or probably because it's the waterproof version, but HOLY CRAP SMUDGE AND CLUMP CITY. Not a pretty sight. Seriously - bad bad bad. Fyi.

OMG! I can't believe I kept putting off trying this mascara because I normally use Cover Girl Professional Mascara which does the job but Lash Blast seems to give mega volume and length. it's lengthened my lashes so much that they practically touch my eye brows. Even a friend who is a dior addict mascara user asked me what I have been using on my lashes. She was very impressed. This is my new favourite mascara-I am really happy I gave this a try.

The brush is a little big and off putting but it gives a lot of length and volume to my lashes but this is what might be doing the job (the brush itself) where as the professional mascara has a curved brush which I think gives more curl to the lash.

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews on this mascara...seems to be a hit or a miss however I do believe the formulations for the waterproof vs. non waterproof seem to be different, thus giving different results (seems to be standard for all mascaras in my opinion). I use the non water proof. I recommend trying the non water proof to see if you get better results with it than with water proof for this reason alone. I have tried lancome, mac, loreal, maybeline....tons of other mascara's and this is affordable and does the job...love this stuff!!

I was really excited to go and purchase this product since ive heard so many good reviews about it . I am sad to say that this mascara did not live up to its hype. I usually curl my lashes prior to putting on masara and leave them for a couples of minutes so the curl can set. After waiting a few minutes after curling my lashes i started applying the mascara and i really liked consistency of the the mascara it wasnt thick so i didnt have to dab off any excess. The bad part is that it weighed my eyelashes down and did not hold up the curl. It is a very wet mascara, does not clump, and it did not make my lashes look very voluminous, i like more of a dramatic mascara this is kinof of a everyday mascara for going out to the market no effect for me watsever. will not buy again.

Well, this is the first mascara I've ever bought, and before now have been mooching off my sister.. I have to say it doesn't seem that bad. It either looks great or horrid, but I think that might be my inexperience in applying makeup.

I have long lashes, and big eyes, so the brush was GREAT for me. The only problem was doing my left eye because I'm right-handed and haven't gotten the hang of it yet. It seems like most times it goes on amazing, but sometimes I get too much on the brush and it just ends up a clumpy, wet mess. So I have to be careful on how much I apply. I think this might just be me though.

I like it though, and would recommend it to someone else with big eyes like mine. I can't see the brush working on someone with smaller eyes, though, the brush is too big.

EDIT: So I've long since started using other mascaras, and time and time again, I have to return to this one. Once the formula dried out a bit, it worked amazingly! The only problem is, I've run out!

idk.. when i first got this I remember really liking it, but i stopped using it for a few days and now its ridiculously clumpy and just awful! its terrible how dry and clumpy it looks and its not old at all! but to be honest i dont remember it being like this when i initially got it! maybe it just dried out extremely early? i never leave the mascara open tho so idk why its dried out so badly :(

i did like that it was nice and waterproof tho, i went to the beach and the mascara stayed put! i just hate that it dried out in like one week :(((

This is an "okay" mascara. I really DO like the brush. It definitely helps to separate lashes. It does enhance volume, but not the way it advertises. The commercial for this mascara made me want to go out and get this product. I was disappointed, however.
Throughout the day, I would notice little mascara "clumps" or "crusties" beneath my lower lash line... it was like little pieces of the product had fallen off and collected all over my eye area. I definitely did NOT like that.
Overall, this is a decent product, but I will not be repurchasing.

I did not like this mascara :( I'm surprised by all the good reviews for it, I guess that just shows it works differently on everyone? Pretty much a hit or miss product.. When I used this it looked so bad I washed it off right away. My eyelashes looked soo clumpy, plus it was very flaky. :(
