This toner is a godsend for acne prone skin!! I had a half-bottle of apple cider vinegar left in my kitchen. I diluted it with a half-bottle of water, so I use 50/50 diluted vinegar. I put it on a cotton ball like any other toner and put it on my problem areas (T-zone, any specific acne breakouts I have that day). It burns a little and seriously smells like sh*t, but it KILLS the acne bacteria like nothing else. After several weeks of using it (no other changes in my skincare routine) my face is clearer, my red post-acne marks have faded, and I get less day-to-day zits. Definetly a must have! I've used witch hazel and burt's bee's toner before but this is my favorite even despite the nasty smell.

Overall rating: 5, because (as part of a regimen involving dumping all skin products containing salicylic acid) four weeks after starting the use of this as a toner, my skin has done a 180 from cystic acne on both cheeks and my forehead, huge clusters of smaller pimples on each side of the chin and a patch of toughened skin that was almost like a callus on the right side of my chin...to smooth cheeks, and a few very small pimples on my chin. NIGHT AND DAY. Once I figure out a way to get it down without booting all over the place, I'm going to start drinking it too.
Price: I'd give it a 0 if it were an option. A year's supply for toning purposes costs probably $4. Can't beat it with a stick.
Packaging quality: So, okay--a big glass bottle is fine for cooking from, or for drinking out of, but I use it as a toner, so I pour from the big bottle I have as necessary into a little spray bottle. I do three or four spritzes onto a cotton pad that's been soaked in water and then squeezed out.

i love this vinigar i've used it for weight loss and yes it does help. and i use it for a bunch of other stuff as food.
i've tired this as a toner.. OUCHHH. it hurt.. ALOT:( i wanted this to work since i didn't want to buy a toner.. but seriously.. this hurt i had to wash it out right away... sux butt. it dried out my skin sooo badly.. i guess this just didn't work for me so i take of 1 flippy.
but seriously i love this stuff for food so yes i give it a four but 1 out for cosmetic uses..
I really like this as a toner, i use 1:1 apple cider vinegar and water and a couple of uncoated aspirin tablets. Helps spots dry up. The smell isnt so great though!
The jury's still out on it as a daily tonic. I did try drinking 1 tsp of it in a glass of water before breakfast and my evening meal. Instead of it getting rid of bloatedness etc, it made me 10x more bloated and gassy, especially after my evening dose.
I didnt know whether to continue with it hopeing it;ll pass but it just got too uncomfortable.
Has anyone else found this? I'm using organic acv that is diltered bu not pasteurized so doesnt have the mother in it.
After I've found Aspirin Mask to be MIRACLE for my skin,I hoped ACV would be miracle as well, because of positive reviews in here. But nope. This destroyed my skin with just one time of use.I even diluted it with green tea,but this irritated my skin as hell. This gave me red, dried out, irritated skin instead of pinkish glow skin like other reviewers said. But that's just my skin,it is oily but extremly sensitive and somehow thin.I think this would be great solution for acne-prone skin ladies who have thick and resistable skin, but not for my poor, sensitive baby-like skin {but with enlarged pores, yuck}.
I use Apple Cider Vinegar for my hair. I saturate my damp hair with about a cup in the shower and let it do its thing in the steam of the shower for 2-5 minutes and then shampoo and condition as normal. This really makes my hair shiney and takes away any build up or heaviness in my hair. I use a lot of product and color my hair so I feel like doing this weekly is the best way to get my hair truely fresh and clean. I also like to use this vinegar after I do "the egg bomb" (search for egg bomb int he reviews section and give that a try too, its another amazing natural 'treatment"), the two go really nicely together.
This is THE BEST toner for acne-prone skin. I can't believe how much money I've wasted on different toners in the past. All you need is 50% ORGANIC Bragg's Apple cider vinegar diluted with 50% water, and apply to freshly washed skin, then moisturize with Jojoba oil. It's that simple. It makes the redness of old pimples fade away. It keeps new pimples from forming, and most importantly, it makes the new pimples shrink. This is my HG toner. You have got to try it if you are suffering with a breakout. You will see a difference in 24 hours. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I tried using this on my face (diluted) but it kinda made my skin bumpy... so I stopped using it. However I do use this to get rid of dandruff and in grown hair!
I just read the review below mine about the steaming thing... sounds like a good idea... I should probably give it a try since I have so much of it left still!
This is a good product for more than just skin care. You must read the book By the Braggs for correct directions on how to use it as a skin regimin. They give a nice facial and a steam cleanse with it. . The steam cleanse you bring to a boil acv with water and then turn off let the steam steam your face then blot with a cold mixture 1-1 ratio of acv and water to close pores. This works nicely.. I have tried the acv as a nightly toner and got mini pimples . I;ve found that doing it nightly is too much and causes those. The book says do this steam twice a week or more. But just as a toner may be too much.. Its great for stubborn cystic acne or those deep ones that wont dry up.. But its a very powerful product like others have said be careful . READ as much as u can before you put it on ur face. . or go to bragg.com ... drinking it will help your skin tremedously too!

I use super market apple cider vinegar, no brand. First was a bit sceptical of its harshness & SMELL but gave in after all the benefits.
HAIR:
I use ½ cup apple cider vinegar mixed with ¾ cup water. Wet all your hair then wrap and leave it on for about 1hour. Wash/shampoo like normal. This makes the hair shinny, smooth and just healthier looking. Also read somewhere it gets rid of dandruff. Frequency: Once a week.
FACE:
It is good for smoother skin, brighter complexion, gets rid of sun spots, hyper pigmentation, acne problems. ½ teaspoon mixed with 2 teaspoons of water. Take cotton bud dip it in the mixture, close eyes and apply all over the face/neck. After face is wet then massage face with your fingers. Walk around for about 30seconds and the skin fully absorbs it. What I do is apply it at night, within 20mins all the smell is gone, and leave it on for the entire night than take my morning shower. You might experience more sting the first time applying it but after that pretty much face is slightly pink and cannot even tell if something is on the face. Never apply this right after a shower… and do not take a shower after applying it. The purpose is to let your skin soak in it and absorb it. Frequency: 3 times a week. So far in only 2 weeks I see great skin tone, fresh skin, reduction in acne marks, red spots!
DRINK:
I also read somewhere it is good to drink it… mix ½ teaspoon with 1 glass water early morning empty stomach.. could be 3 times a week. I am not sure but a lot of websites site potential benefits.
UPDATE IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN add proper moisturizer else this will give you cysts: used this for about 4months now, it is drying my skin quite a bit so I have to use Almond Oil for extra moisture. It def has helped with acne scars, just overall skin tone is better.
