This is a bit too spicy for my tastes. I prefer Chanel No 5 and Coco Mademoiselle to this one. Sophisticated scent but does smell a bit old-ladyish to me.

This has been my signature scent for years. In my wilder days, men would approach me and blurt out, 'you smell *sexy*!' This has never happened to me with any other perfume. I'm sure chemistry is very important here, but if this works for you, then it *really* works.

Spicy, sophisticated and sensual, this is the sexiest Chanel so far. Very classy, too, not old-ladyish in any way. The perfect fragrance for a night out.

I prefer older Chanel scents to the new ones. This is truly sophisticated and reminds me of my childhood. The women in my family all wore Chanel.

I actually wore this a few years ago, liked it, but tired of it and gave it away. Last fall when I repurchased Coco it smelled the same in the bottle, but when I sprayed it on it smelled medicinal to me. It was so bad that I had to wash it off. Ended up tossing the bottle. I really prefer Mademoiselle to the original Coco.

I'll add my "me too" here. Beautiful, classy, classic, sophisticated...a truly exceptional perfumey perfume. Lovely, lovely, lovely. If you can get past the first 2 minutes or so, it is absolutely gorgeous.

This is a fragrance I like to spray sometimes at the mall and get my free sample of see's candies.By the time we are done shopping,and later through the day the beautiful scent has drifted away.This is just my mall tester fragrance for fun.I can't see myself buying it =)but the smell is very nice.

I've just got a sample. It is very nice. I am very much in the spicy fragances,because I get a headache from florals and the fresh ones don't represent me. I wanted one that was not very heavy on me. I like it very much.It is sophisticated, femenine and sensual. Very nice, indeed. I will buy it for sure.

It's got something that makes you want to smell it on yourself all the time; a wonderful spiciness that is soft and 'rounded', there are no sharp edges here. And yet, weirdly it still smells dated to me and won't be repurchasing as I only feel comfortable wearing this scent for myself.

When I want to exude strength and self confidence, I wear this. This is definitely a Power Scent. It's gorgeously spicy and lavishly fruity, yet never cloyingly sweet, just warm and womanly. It doesn't feel dated like many other orientals or floral-orientals from the mid 80's. And it's absolutely a fragrance you can wear any time of day! Contrary to other reviewers, I think it's appropriate for summer as well, if sprayed lightly. Personally I can't wear the EdT too well, it turns very masculine on me. So for me the body lotion is a better option for warmer months. Along with No. 5 and No. 19 this will always be a staple of mine.
