One of the best eyeliner pencils I've ever used. I have this in black. It doesn't give me racoon eyes, goes on smoothly, and lasts all day. The color is truly an intense black. What I love most about it is that I don't have to tug or pull on my lids to apply it like with most pencils and I don't have to touch up at all during the day. I would recommend this to anyone with oily lids like me looking for a black pencil that does't budge. I don't think its as intense as liquid liner though as the name would apply. Also great for a smokey eye look because its easy to smudge. I would repurchase beacause its more of a cream liner look than pencil or liquid, which I love.
I'm a black liner fiend, so I had to pick this one up. The color is certainly extra intense, and the glide of this pencil is wonderful. It's soft, but not as soft as the Prestige Total Intensity liners I've been getting. Prestige TI was my HG stay put liner, but they are getting too soft and I'm too lazy to use a brush with them everyday. This liner will replace the Prestige, but only for the lash line. Tight lining with this product has not worked out for me. The product sticks to itself, and the liner from my lower waterline always sticks to the liner on my upper waterline, so when I blink, little chucks come off the bottom. I tried putting a little primer on my waterline, but this didn't help. For the lash lines, however, I love this. It is very black, smudges nicely if you get it before it sets, and lasts all day without a smudge. I'm not sure I'll get it again actually, I'd prefer to find something that can work on my waterlines and lash lines.
I was just browsing in the makeup aisle at my local wal-mart and came across this: A Liquid Pencil? I read the carton and thought, ' this can't be both a liquid AND a pencil?' So I decided to puchase this because I have been using L'Oreal Liquid lineur intense since I was 17 (i'm 34 now) and don't usually stray from something that has worked THIS long. I only line the upper last line and wing out the corners so I figured it was worth a go. At first it was awkward b/c I am so used to my fine brush that I had to pull my eye taut and line it several times to get the dark effect of my liquid. It was creamy in consistency and did go on w/o a hitch with minimal tugging. After i was done lining both eyes, i stood back and was pleased with the result. It was more "soft" and "subtle" than my liquid liner, but I still achieved the result I was looking for. It was tricky to get in the inner corner of my eye w/o it looking smudged, but that was an easy fix w/ a q-tip dipped in eye cream. The only gripe I have is after one use, the liner tip was quite dull and needed to be sharpened or you will not get the same results. I am afraid that I will run thru this liner much faster than my liquid so I may not be saving that much money with liquid vs pencil. I have only been using this for 2 days now and so far I am quite pleased with it. I think this will be a repurchase.. not sure how long of a life expectancy this pencil will have- my liquid liner usually lasts me 3 months with daily use.
*Update: The only gripe I have it doesn't sharpen very well at all. It keeps breaking off inside my sharpener and I can't get the point back. This is horrible! I would have rather had this in a automatic twist up pencil verses a sharpening pencil. :( I will continue to buy b/c of the smooth consistency and I like the way it looks after I line the top of my eyes.
I don 't like liquid liner, but this Liquid Pencil is awesome. It glides on so smooth. It is easy to put on and looks great. I have it in the color black and am going to get some other colors as well. I'm not a huge black eyeliner fan.
im more of a tightlining, waterlining kind of gal but i always have one of these handy in case i ever want to line my upper lashline. like everyone said, very creamy soft consistency. the creamiest i've ever seen in a drugstore pencil, also very very dark and pigmented. that being said, this would be ideal for upper lashline only bc this smudges. if your looking for a dark liner to just line your upper lashline, go for this, its comproble to the higher end ones- and its also a much better deal if you wait for a sale at your local drugstore. i got this as a buy one get one free deal and it cost me around $9 for one.
Yes, this eyeliner is very creamy and smooth, but this is not always a good thing. I find that it is TOO CREAMY and I'm constantly sharpening this because lining both eyes already makes it dull. The lasting power is above average compared to other eyeliners, but it's not as long-wearing as my trusty Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner. I'm not too great with liquid eyeliners, but I love the look of them, so I really wanted this product to work for me. However, it just doesn't give me that thin strip of liner that I'm going for. I would rather put a little more effort into wielding a brush tip liquid liner.
EDIT: Okay so I realize now that storing this eyeliner in a cool place helps it last longer because it hardens up. I usually sharpen this eyeliner until the tip is very pointed (better for thin lines!) and then stick it in my fridge for a little bit. When I take it out, the eyeliner has a smooth and firm consistency.
I bought this on a whim because the "liquid pencil" description caught my attention. How could something be both liquid and a pencil? but it's a fair description because the pencil is very creamy so it applies easily, very smoothly. I tried it on both my upper and lower lash line and it lasted several hours. the lower lash line color smudged just a little. I can live with it. I read the reviews on MUA after having bought this (tisk, tisk) and saw that many reviewers compared this to UD 24/7 which I had never tried so off to the store I went to buy the UD pencil in Zero. I think this one is a much better buy. The performance of both liners is similar but this one is less than half the price. Overall this liner is a winner for me.
Lovely dark opaque black liner that goes on oh so smooth and is bendable/smudgable. Wish it had better staying power on the water line though, oh well.
I like this liner, because it's easy to use and leaves an intense color and it stays on all day. I have trouble with eyeliners coming off on my lid, giving me a weird line, but this doesn't do that. What I hate about it is that it wears down so quickly. I think it's maybe a bit too creamy. It just makes a big mess when I sharpen it. I wouldn't buy it again, simply for that reason. I don't feel like it's worth my money. Revlon ColorStay liner does the same job for me and lasts a lot longer.
This eyeliner has a very smooth texture that glides on easily; it didn't tug on my skin. I got the Black one and the color intensity is liken to a liquid eyeliner, but I did have to apply pressure so the line could come out evenly. The black has a navy undertone to it because when I smudged it and took it off, it appeared dark blue.
