I love PosieTint. I have a hard time getting blush to do two things- 1) stay on 2) look natural. I have somewhat oily, yellow-toned fair skin, blue eyes, light brown hair that tends toward red. I wear this over foundation (BB Skin Foundation - Sand) and I have no problems with streaking but I wear only a light coat of foundation. I have also worn it under foundation for an even more natural look and sometimes follow it with a powder or cream blush on top for extra staying power. It blends into my skin and looks as natural as any blush I have ever worn. It stays on for a long time - maybe not all day but then nothing really does for me. It doesn't look pinky pink on me but rather morphs into a rosy pink that looks really natural. I also like it on my lips but I always wear gloss over it.
I didn't like BeneTint at all because I found it very hard to blend. PosieTint stays blendable for a longer period of time. I have tried other cheek stains and have not been happy for various reasons.
I hate the package (are you listening BeneFit?). It is cheap looking and something I would never take along with me in my bag or even really confess to anyone I was wearing it as it seems to be packaged for a teenager (no disrespect intended for you teens out there but I don't love the pink foil). I wish I could see how much I have left, as others have mentioned. But, you get what you get. So long as I get the look I want I am happy. I would buy it again but would be happier buying it in a different package.
Prefer this as a cheek stain as opposed to a lip colour. As a lip colour, the texture is much easier to work with and less drying than Benetint. However, it does get caught and emphasize any flakies one may have. As a cheek stain it is far superior to Benetint because of it's creamier consistency which is easier to work with. It gives a light pink colour (not really anything special) but at least it doesn't dry to angry red streaks like Benetint. It did make my cheeks feel a teensy bit itchy though which bothered me. Won't be repurchasing because after getting past that sweet, girly packaging it's far too expensive for what it is.
I find this product impossible to wear over foundation as it creates streaky lines. I also think the colour is far too pink to give a natural colour. This leaves me with a very expensive lip tint!
Product - Milky (opaque) pink liquid stain for lips and cheeks. The texture is a thick liquid - not a runny liquid, not a creamy suspension, not a sticky gel. On my AAB/NC25 cheeks, the color looks very natural - it applies rather sheer on me and there's enough time to blend it out with fingertips. After washing my hands, my fingertips are not noticeably stained, which is a nice plus. On my lips the color is much more evident - a fresh, bright girly pink - and it stains surprisingly well.
Comparisons - Thicker, less liquid-y than its sister BeneTint. Reminds me of Smashbox O-Glow gel blush - the color on my lips and cheeks is very similar, but the texture is different; O-Glow is a thicker, transparent gel. The same color as LORAC Mocktail lip gloss in Sex on the Beach (though texture and purpose are different, obviously).
Packaging - Personally I'm not a fan of nail-polish type applicators (I find doe-foot applicators give me better precision) but I'll live :) As noted by plenty of other reviewers, the biggest disappointment is that the bottle is opaque and you can't tell how much is left.
Overall - One of the few 100-pt Sephora Beauty Insider deluxe samples that have tempted me, and I'm glad I got it. continued >>
I really like this product. I have started using my regular moisturiser with a tinted moisturiser over the top and find that powder blushes don't wear well on me any more, probably because my skin isn't as dry. At any rate, Posietint stays on until I cleanse again, and gives a pretty ballerina pink flush to my cheeks. It's good on lips too, although I find I need to do two coats before they get a flushed look to them. It's great because I don't have to worry about tinted gloss any more, just use lip balm throughout the day to stop dryness. If you have dark skin you might need something with stronger pigment, but I certainly recommend this for pale skinned gals wanting a pretty pink flush.
It's great to finally have a lip and cheek stain that is a pink tone rather than a red or orange tone. As opposed to the Benetint, this is more of a gel consistency than a liquid and blends very nicely on the cheeks and lips. The best thing is that it really stays. I sometimes use this as a base for my cheek colour so it is more intense and stays longer. For the lips it is a great way of getting a long lasting colour that doesn't feel like your wearing anything at all. It would be great for them to bring it out in a wand form with a clear gloss on the end like they did with Benetint!

gives my cheeks a nice bubblegum pink tint and is easy to go from a lighter shade to a brighter one, though it didn't show up at all on my lips.
I am quite new to stains (this being my second one) and I am completely converted. For reference I am NC40 and yellow-toned, and my lips are not very pigmented. This looks brilliant on me - a very natural and pretty pink. I have no issues with it not showing up on my lips or skin. However, I don't use it often on my cheeks, as this product does not work well over foundation - it just streaks and sits awkwardly on top. The bottle is really pretty, but the foil has started to peel already. I also wish the applicator was a sponge-tipped one and not a brush. Overall though, the best Benefit product I have tried, and I would definitely buy it again (and I am not usually a Benefit fan as they don't seem to cater for darker-skinned and/or yellow-toned girls).
I got a free deluxe sample from Sephora with my points. It's a very nice mid-tone pink. Very girly, very doll-like. I already own the original Benetint, so this may sound like a bit of a comparison. The formula for Posietint is definitely thicker than Benetint. Posietint feels almost gel-like, whereas Benetint is very liquid and runny.
Posietint shows up quite well with a second coat. Pigmentation is quite nice, and I like the gel consistency moreso than the liquid consistency of the Benetint.
Packaging for both is the same, with a brush applicator, which I find a bit gross at times. When I use the brush on my cheek, it has been on my lips, and vice versa. And of course, when I dip it back into the bottle, everything gets contaminated...but that's just me.
However, I would shell out the $35CND to buy this. It's a very lovely shade on my NC35 skin, and the pigmentation is far superior than the Benetint.
