This blush is not all that it is hyped up to be. It looks good upon first application, but then as the day goes on, it turns a lot redder and glittery. Even when only a little is applied, it is just way to shimmery.
Love it! I only really bought this because of all the hype you hear about it, I have a big collection of MAC blushers which i love but I had heard good things about the quality of NARS blushers, so I thought id try it. I wore it today which feels like one of the hottest days of the year here and it lasted really well considering how hot and humid it was. On my NC25 skin it looks like a peachy-pink colour, more peachy but not a true peach....if you look really closely (and i mean close) you can see sparkle but its not disco-ball sparkly it looks glowy to me, which is flattering. It was almost £5 more than the MAC blushers I get but it is bigger and i think 'orgasm' is a colour than that cant be duped easily...im sure there are similar shades, but the quality/texture etc will be different so I dont mind paying extra as I think it will last a long time. Packaging does look grubby quickly which bothers me a little (im fussy like that) but sturdy packaging is more important so it doesnt get damaged in my bag and it seems sturdy so I dont mind the packaging too much.
My favorite blush ever! I have fair/medium, warm, slightly oily skin that tans well in the summer and this blush works year-round! Has shimmer, but not too much. Is a great peachy-pink color that just gives you a wonderful "flush". The price is totally worth it. I use mine almost everyday and it has lasted me for months and I have yet to hit the pan. I love how wide it is too so you have plenty of room to swirl your brush around. Will definitely buy again and again.
I love this blush! The shimmery gold pink color is great for my skin color. I use it everyday and its great for the summer. I often pair it with my NARS bronzer and the combination is AMAZING. I would recommend this blush to anyone, even though its a bit pricey. Its worth it.
It's a beautiful color, without a doubt, but this blush is NOT for everyone. It isn't the shade for me, but Deep Throat is. I've swapped it already - hated to do it 'cuz it is so pretty, but I can't wear it successfully on my olive-toned skin. The Sephora SA agreed.
The only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because it will probably last me forever. It is the original lovely melonish, pinkish, coralish color and a wonderful pop color. I don't recommend using it as a full-on blush - its flat out just too shimmery for that, and the original formula vs. the Shiseido version is a slight bit different (more shimmery and brighter). A must have for everyone. (Tip: I also use it as a pop color on the eyes and blended with clear lip gloss.) 1 lippie for packaging...Nars packaging looks used as soon as you take it out of the box (fingerprints and smudges) and that drives me crazy!
Expensive but worth the price considering I wear it almost everyday. Has a pretty sun kissed glow with a pinch of shimmer. Will buy it for years to come.
I would buy this product again but I don't forsee myself having to for a very, very long time. Is it a fabulous color that looks great on everyone? Yes, obviously, hence it's cult like following. Is it expensive? Compared to drugstore brands, perhaps, but when you realize you've been using the same NARS blush compact for several years, you will realize what quality versus quality actually means.
If you like this one but you want something a little peachier, try NARS Torrid Blush. I like it even better than this one, which I thought was impossible.
I might even mention that before I tried this blush, I hated the idea of blush, and the way it looked on me. But this stuff is fantasticcccccccccccc.
Love it, there isn't much to be said that hasn't already been said. The one thing I can add is that I purchased my Orgasm blush almost 4 years ago, (yes you read that correctly) and I haven't even put a dent in it yet. Looks gorgeous on everyone. It's you, but better.
This is a fantastic color on me- I am light with a cool pinkish undertone. The only problem is that I can't use anything with talcso I am giving this away :(
