LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara! I have used so many different brands and types of mascaras and this is the best one for dramatic long dark lashes. I love the plastic brush and I don't have any problems with clumping. It is definitely not a natural look, pretty dramatic so it's perfect for my casino job =)
I really, really wanted to like this, because as far as I can remember, I liked the original telescopic, and what can be better than clean, long and defined lashes? Unfortunately I couldn't even go out with it on once. This mascara clumped my lashes into teams, making it look like I had about five really fat lashes. And to top it off, the wet formula of this completely flattened the curl I put into my lashes using my Shu Umeura curler. I know a lot of people liked this, but this is just my honest experience with this mascara, on my average lashes.
i hate the brush on this mascara. the bristles are very short which for me resulted in a lot of clumping.
At first, I didn't love this product. I used it and felt it was too wet on my lashes and that it didn't dry quick enough. But now it is my favorite mascara. It makes my lashes extremely long and cleanly defined. The color is very black and stays very pigmented. This mascara is very buildable and leaves your lashes somewhat soft when dried. It doesn't take all your lashes off with use/removal of the product. It has allowed decent lash health. I have tried *every* mascara on the market - drug store and many high end mascaras - recently tried Lancome L'extreme mascara. No other mascara has *anything* on this one. Long lush soft healthy lashes for a great price!
I love this product, its up there with my favourite mascaras. I think what most people are having trouble with is the wand. You have to hold it at the base of your lashes and then move it up slowly through your lashes in one smooth sweep. In one step it really defines and extends my lashes. You can't use the wand like conventional mascaras as it is a thick formula and will just become a horrible clumpy mess. Think, if you want to extend your lashes, you would be doing it in one clean sweep of a thick product, not with layers and layers. The only issue I had was that since the wand is very flexible it starts to bend after a while of using it if you wiggle it out of the bottle. Just be careful when removing it to remove it straight up and place it back in slowly as it will bend if you try to force it back in haha. I believe its designed to be so tight so that it removes extra product on your wand while you pull it out. Overall, this product truly delivers if you get the hang of it its really easy!
I had high expectations for this mascara, everybody was raving about it...but I don't really like it...sadly, I really wanted to love it but it's not working for me. I have really long lashes, maybe that's the reason this mascara simply doesn't work. It clumps like crazy and although it isn't waterproof it's so hard to getoff at night. Won't repuchase this one again. My brother got me the cover girl lashblast when he was in new york, so I'm excited to try this one out, since we can't buy it here in germany.
THIS MASCARA IS A MUST HAVE!! I have been using this mascara for about 4 years now and i LOVE IT! i have tried everything from Clinique, MAC, MUFE, Dior, Benefit, and all drugstore mascaras as well and NOTHING compares to what L'Oreal's Telescopic can do!! The formula is just amazing! The brush is plastic and has bristles all over it so its super easy to control and its thin so it gets the very inner and outer lashes..if it seems clumpy at first just wiggle the wand from the base of your lashes to the tips and straighten it all out. Carbon Black is especially great to make your lashes stand out (great for dramatic eyes as well) everyone thinks i wear flash lashes when i use this, i will never ever spend money on or try any mascara again!! I hope they never stop making this!!
Like all the mascaras in the telescopic range, I love the packaging. This is the mascara I wear for going out at night. For me there isn't a lot of difference in how it lengthens or thickening my lashes to the way the telescopic clean definition mascara works but the colour is a lovely dark black which is good for night time, it frames you eyes better. I don't think I will be repurchasing this again soon because I want to try and find a better dark black mascara because I think there could be a better mascara out there for what I want. This isn't bad but it isn't the perfect mascara for me but I would recommend others to try it.
I really like the original better. I'm not sure if it's in my head, but I bought this after I tried the original telescopic and finished a tube of that and thought carbon black is probably a better version. I don't think it is as good. I have medium length, kinda sparse lashes. This mascara does add length and definition (my lashes look like the member-uploaded photos), but I feel like the original gave better results.
I think telescopic is great! Its definitely NOT for people who want a 'natural' look- telescopic in carbon black does look quite done up.
I really like the comb as apposed to a fat brush- it does fan out every lash.
I do feel sometimes it can get a little clumpy and is therefore not very practical for on the go people - you do need to take your time doing it. I find applying a tiny tiny tiny amount of baby oil on the lashes before you apply the mascara helps it not to clump!
I'd recommend it to a friend:) - i just wish it was out in brown and dark blue!
