Very average concealer. It does its job, but doesn't blend very nicely.
This product is okay. I bought it in the yellow shade to try and cover darkness around my eyes. It does seem to brigthen the area; however, it tends to crease, especially if you use it on the lid...but most things do, I guess. Overall, I like the product...I'm still not 100% sure I'd repurchase, but it's the best thing I've found so far.
My favorite concealer of all time! I use this in any of the Light/Medium shades (since I use it under mineral powder makeup, the shade doesn't really matter as long as its in the light/medium family)
PRICE: $5 for a 0.16oz tube (pretty good for drugstore)
PACKAGING: Love the lipstick-style packaging! It makes controlling the application super easy - its like coloring over your blemishes :) The only bad part is that sometimes the concealer will break off at the base before I get down to the bottom of it, which means I have to waste product by throwing it away. This happens about 25% of the time I'd say.
PRODUCT: This product works perfectly for my oily/acne skin. It doesn't melt off my skin at ALL, even in hot Chicago weather. (It is marketed as waterproof - I wouldn't swim with it, but otherwise it's pretty indistructable!). Also, it's pretty opaque - it covers blemishes completely with a good swipe. I usually swipe a bit of concealer on each spot, then go back and blend really quickly before buffing on powder foundation (I use Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder). My favorite combo of all time :)
Overall, love this concealer! Really, I'd give it a try - its only $5 and covers EVERYTHING!
I got this product in green to "correct [the] redness" of my zits and the area under my nose. I applied it with a concealer brush, and it did the job. Instead of red, what I saw was a creamy green. Problems arose when I attempted to cover the green with a normal concealer. The green kind of got smushed and mixed around with the other product, and it ended up really not covering anything at all. Also, it's not thick enough, the shade of green is too cartoonish, and it's much too sheer. Not recommended.
This concealer is only okay. As a poor college student, I was trying to find a cheaper alternative for my beloved Origins concealer to cover my blemishes, but this one doesn't cut it. It's kinda strange because this concealer goes on thick but doesn't cover too well after you blend it. I also noticed that it was cakey and powdery in the places where I'd applied it, so don't pile this on in an effort to cover better! The Medium color was also too light for my Asian skin, but it does last all day on my oily skin and the price is unbeatable. I believe it may work for those who need light coverage and can blend very well, but for me, I need heavier coverage and while this is better than nothing, it's not quite what I'm looking for. I will finish this off but will not repurchase.
I actually bought this quite a while ago (in the Ivory shade), and found that it wasn't ideal for covering pimples and redness, so I tossed it aside in my makeup drawer. But recently, I discovered that it is quite good at concealing darkness under my eyes, and I really noticed that if I use this for that purpose only, it really brightens my face overall and gives me a really flawless complexion.
The texture of this is really weird. It looks good in the tube but it's really difficult to apply. It covers pimples okay but not well.
My skin is very fair, but the lightest shade of this concealer I could find was somewhat yellow against my skin. It was also very cakey. With my acne scarring and pimples, I need a concealer that doesn't smudge. All in all it's okay for concealing small blemishes, but once you get into an entire cheek covered in red marks, it becomes gross and clumpy.
Personally not that good for my undereye concealing. I found it alittle too cakey for that area, however for other little marks on my face it was fine. I dont think ill buy this product again mainly because its not creamy enough and can show up quite abit in the dry parts of my cheeks. I dont mind the packaging though haha and its not expensive at all.
The maybelline cover stick is not bad. The thing i dislike about it is that its cakey, it creases sometimes. For me, its too thick. The coverage is not bad, for undereyes is great. When i get lil pimples, it dosent blend evenly as i would like it to. But over all, its cheap and dose the work. continued >>
