This just adds another step to my routine and although I like the soft consistency of it, it really does nothing for my lashes though. There is zero difference. I say save your money and get a really good mascara (Too Faced Lash Injection, I will never go back to anything else).

This product is incredible and it does what it claims to do. The fact that I am Asian can prove even better how this product works. My lashes are very short and limited so with this primer, my lash becomes fuller and longer even with adding some curls too. The primer doesn't weigh down my lashes so making it a great add to any mascara I use. Plus the best thing I like about the primer is that it helps my mascara wears so much longer. Usually, the mascara would be flaking and smudging after 6-8 hours or by the end of work day but with this primer I can wear my mascara from 8-10p.m. and have zero problem with my mascara falling off or become smudging around your eye area. I think this is a must for all mascara lover because you'll love everytime you use it.
I didn't have high hopes for this mascara primer.. especially since I have the most difficult lashes to deal with. I have short thin very straight lashes as I am Chinese, but even with using an eyelash curler and mascara, usually my lashes are still barely noticible. Using this product before mascara made a big difference!! I'd have to say that they looked atleast 2-3x's thicker than they usually do with my thickening mascara and were 2xs longer. I think I may have to shop around for some other mascara primers to really judge how well this works, but there is a definate difference between using this before my mascara and just using mascara!

I agree with the reviewer below that said the orginial is better. I will definitely go back to that one, which I love and should have stayed with. I find this new formulation too thick, goopy, and wet. I tried letting it dry a bit before applying mascara, but then my lashes looked clumpy. Not even my trusty little Tweezerman metal lash comb was able to comb thru my lashes. The orignial works very well for me. I only wait a few seconds and then apply masacara. Makes a big difference on my short lashes.
I hated this the first few times I used it, as it made my Hypnose Waterproof mascara really clumpy; but I think this was because the SA told me to apply my mascara straight away whilst the cils booster XL was still wet. I tried this again a few days ago, and allowed the CB XL to dry before applying mascara, and hey presto - fabulous lashes - really long, thick and glossy and not a clump in sight - will now use this all the time, and will definately repurchase.

Got this after seeing all the rave reviews here. I bought the Cils Booster XL, and it makes my lashes glossy, so the fact that it's white doesn't bother me. It fattens my lashes and lengthens them a bit, and somehow I think this holds my curl better. I give it 4 lippies because I found it to be hard to control. Too little and it doesn't make noticable difference, a bit too much and you end up with clumpy lashes.
Okay stuff. Nothing to rave about though. It did add length, but my lashes are already long. It actually left my lashes feeling a little brittle. Like Shiseido better.
This sucks. The original is so much better. Why on earth they needed to make this is a mystery to me.
best lash primer ever. I've tried all the drugstore brands and they clump up. This one is light and doesn't weigh my lashes down. I have bone straight Asian lashes so the fact that this doesn't take down my curl is a huge plus.
I got Cils booster as part of an eye kit from the Holidays. It was an awesome deal that came with a highlighter eyeshadow, Hypnose, Definicils, Clis Booster, and black eyeliner for a bargain price of about $50 or $60 all in a cute black case. Anyway, the Clis does add some volume to your lashes. It's white in color so you know how much you're putting on. I am a big fan of using some sort of mascara primer. I've tried many and I think this is a good product. I also think that the Tweezerman Fast Lash is also an excellent mascara primer too.
