Ohh so cute and a wonderful mascara. I use this often and it makes my lashes thick and full and fatty everytime.I don't know if people realize this, but mascaras are rarely dry by themselves. Pumping the mascara up and down in the tube puts air into it, causing the mascara to dry out at what may seem like light-speed. Try swirling the brush around the sides to coat it. I'll be repurchasing this for sure! continued >>
this should be called "poke yourself in the eye with the big fatty brush" mascara. ouch.
I love Urban Decay but I found this mascara too expensive for the quality offer. It became very dry after a little time and the texture it is too much clumpsy. Though I love the packing.
I love the big brush, and it does give volume, but a few cons that make me think there are those out there that do a better job for less money.
1. Clumps slightly
2. Color travels to your undereye after a couple hours
3. dries out in tube quickly. (And I never "pump" mascara)
Still looking for mascara HG.
I just got back from Sephora. I tried this on and in one swoop my lil lashes got thick and gigantic. SOLD to me. Very cute tube too.
i was drawn in by the name and packaging and the fact that i love urban decay! unfortunately, this mascara is just blah! didnt do anything other mascaras can do and it gets just too clumpy too quickly. thats that!
I am not a big fan of Big Fatty mascara. I usually love Urban Decay products, but this one just doesn't do it for me. The mascara is flaky, and I actually find the brush TOO big. I prefer MAC's Mascara X, and it's less expensive. (Less product, but I never use a whole tube of mascara before switching out anyway.)
Fabulous big thick brush that really seperates and defines lashes. The fat brush enables it to reach the most minute lashes and deposit thick rick sooty black color. It does excellent with holding a curl. The only problem I have had is with the top part of the tube that wipes off the excess- it comes off sometimes and I have to jam it back in. I wish they made a waterproof formula.
I am a sucker for thick volumous lashes! I used to use Lancome Hypnose and Prescriptives but I got suckered into trying this one because of the name. I'm glad I did! I absolutely love it! It makes my lashes so thick - I have received several compliments on them since using it, and it actually holds the curl from my curler quite well, unlike Hypnose which weighed it down. The one thing I have noticed about it, though, is that it doesn't withstand water very well. If my eyes tear, it runs. Eventhough it's not water proof, I found that both of my old ones were able to withstand a bit of tearing ( I wear contact lenses so tearing is common!) Nonetheless, it's amazing. Highly recommended, my new HG!
I got sucked into this by the picture of the girl in the blue shadow from Sephora- I wanted those eyelashes! The mascara isn't bad- that is to say though that you do need to 1) curl your lashes a LOT first, 2) MULTIPLE coats of this. If you start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the brush up, it helps a lot. But if you don't curl first, you won't see anything. The brush for this is huge and I'm not convinced that huge brushes make for huge lashes, but I figured it was important to at least try it and see how it was. I haven't noticed this flaking, etc, but I really don't thinkI'll buy this again. It's just not worth the money- my Rimmel Volume Flash is great and it's incredibly cheap so perhaps I'll stick with that for volume!
