PROS: It makes your lashes look huge and adds a considerable amount of volume. With the right technique, the large brush can be used to good effect and is particularly good and curling up the outside lashes. It is the best mascara on the market that I have tried for adding volume to your lashes.
CONS: It is not waterproof and I always have smudges in the bottom corners of my eyes after about 4 hours (including after attempting it with a lash protective coat).
This mascara may not be the most WP mascara out there but it does give volume, length and most importantly the WP formula holds a curl!! Definately a HG for me! :D
I have to say that I really liked the big Teddy bear brush but after applying 4,5,6 coats I found this supposedly dramatic effect a myth. For the cost, well, why bother. I think I'll stick with my Covergirl Waterproof instead. I'll have to return, disappointed.
This is my first waterproof mascara, and now I am hooked. I loved the normal DiorShow until I bought this one. Now this is the one for me.
The effect is not as dramatic as the regular DiorShow, but it's lightness makes up for it. The texture, weight and stay-power of the mascara is very important for me, since I live in a humid place, which tends to limpen my lashes, even if I curl them. A normal mascara would further weigh down the collapsing lashes. But the waterproof version is so light, it doesn't weigh my lashes down, and also acts as a barrier to the humidity so that my lashes stay curled all day.
The brush is a bit bulky and clumsy, but with practice, it's not that hard to use.
Good mascara with good immediate results, but it smudges and isn't exactly waterproof. So not worth the money.
I liked this mascara overall, but the results were not dramatic enough alone. It looked great when used with my Shesheido mascara base, but honestly the base looks even better with Voluminous (which is an $8 mascara). It is not awful, but I will not buy again.
I am an avid Dior user, but did not like this product. It was not the waterproof version of the regular like I wanted. I bought it for my wedding, but I will not buy this again. It was not really waterproof and felt sticky and clumpy compared to the smooth texture of the non-waterproof Dior show.
I heard wonderful things about Dior's DiorShow mascara so I opted for the waterproof version (mainly because I have contacts, also because whenever I yawn my eyes water ridiculously) and I am not disappointed. My lashes are already quite long and thick but this adds a little something extra. It lasts all day and then some, it even looks great after I take a nap. It doesn't clump or spike. It does take a while to dry but that's OK. I just brush out my brows before I comb my lashes. And the big brush really isn't that hard to control. Just work for the outside in!
It's deffinately waterproof. It stays put during showers, swimming, etc. But I just use a few swipes of Sephora's makeup remover and it comes right off.
I'm very happy with my DiorShow and I'd deffinately repurchase. Plus the packaging is so cute!
I bought this product after hearing raves about how it creates a full on drama, false eyelash effect. I've only used it a few times, but I just CAN'T get past why it needs such a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) applicator. It's TOO HARD for me to do the corner eye lashes or get right in close near the base of my eyelashes. I've read comments on how you should persist because it's a great product - but I truly can't! It's not worth the hassle, or the time wiping it off your cheeks/eyelids and doing touch ups. I'd rather stay with something like Loreal Telescopic. Unless they downsize the brush in the future, there is 'no way' I'd consider repurchasing this. If they do this, then it may be worth it as it is quite nice on and doesn't seem clumpy.
Takes FOREVER to dry....by the time it dries...I have lash stamped my upper eyelid! YUCK! This one is going back. I love the REGULAR formula way better!
