I heard wonderful things about Dior's DiorShow mascara so I opted for the waterproof version (mainly because I have contacts, also because whenever I yawn my eyes water ridiculously) and I am not disappointed. My lashes are already quite long and thick but this adds a little something extra. It lasts all day and then some, it even looks great after I take a nap. It doesn't clump or spike. It does take a while to dry but that's OK. I just brush out my brows before I comb my lashes. And the big brush really isn't that hard to control. Just work for the outside in!
It's deffinately waterproof. It stays put during showers, swimming, etc. But I just use a few swipes of Sephora's makeup remover and it comes right off.
I'm very happy with my DiorShow and I'd deffinately repurchase. Plus the packaging is so cute!

I bought this product after hearing raves about how it creates a full on drama, false eyelash effect. I've only used it a few times, but I just CAN'T get past why it needs such a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) applicator. It's TOO HARD for me to do the corner eye lashes or get right in close near the base of my eyelashes. I've read comments on how you should persist because it's a great product - but I truly can't! It's not worth the hassle, or the time wiping it off your cheeks/eyelids and doing touch ups. I'd rather stay with something like Loreal Telescopic. Unless they downsize the brush in the future, there is 'no way' I'd consider repurchasing this. If they do this, then it may be worth it as it is quite nice on and doesn't seem clumpy.

Takes FOREVER to dry....by the time it dries...I have lash stamped my upper eyelid! YUCK! This one is going back. I love the REGULAR formula way better!

What can I say?

Clump galore. And it smudges throughout the day. Major panda eyes!

AND it's expensive too.

Not particular sure if I like the size of it either. It is so hard to control.

I had heard great things about this mascara and was excited to pick up the waterproof version since after long hours of school my mascara always runs...but I found it to be not much different than the regular DiorShow.

This mascara did absolutely nothing for me! I bought it to wear at my wedding and was surprised that it was so bad. It did not lengthen or thicken. It made my lashes look really sparse and stumpy. I ended up wearing my normal mascara with the Clarins waterproofer.

I'm not a waterproof mascara person, but needed to have a lengthening, non-clumpy black for an event that will likely make me teary.

I went to a Dior artist and asked to take Diorshow Waterproof for a test run. I'm pleased, but there are some things you need to know.

Like the very accurate reviewer before this, I was shocked at the size of the brush. You'll need a makeup corrector pen or a moistened q-tip to clean up the lash line.

It also does take a non-trivial amount of time to dry. The advantage of this is that you can mold and build the lash shape with multiple coats, which the artist recommended to me.

As for taking it off, you need remover, but it is possible to get it all off in one attempt. I usually use Klorane Cornflower Eyemakeup remover, but I didn't think it would work. I went with Paula's Choice Gentle Eye Makeup remover, applying with a cotton pad, holding on the lashes for a moment, then wiping clean. I'm guessing Clinique's Take the Day Off would work just as well.

My lashes were long, fringy, glossy black all day. I'll buy it again.

1. The brush is ginormous and I always make a mess
2. it takes a while to dry
3. even with makeup removed i have a hard time getting it off
4. it does get clumpy with a second or third coat
5. it does make my lashes look pretty long and thick, not to the point that they look false though, which is what I was going for.
- all in all I'll only repurchase if i can't find anything better, which i probably will.

The first time I tried this it was the non-waterproof one and I loved it. When I went back to purchase another one, they had only the wateproof left, so I decided to try it thinking how bad can it be? First of all, it does not smell the same as the non-waterproof one, which disaponted me because I liked the smell of the other one. If you are looking for a waterproof mascara that actually works in the pool, ocean, shower, ANYTHING that involves water, this DOES NOT COME OFF. I thought it came in handy in the summer when we do a lot of water activties and take more showers, I didn't have to worry about reapplying mascara after a shower, it was just always there. Plus you need a realy good make up remover to get this baby off, any one won't do.

This is the most money I've ever spent on a mascara. After lemming for years, I decided I wanted to treat myself to a few makeup splurges. I had previously been using L'Oreal Voluminous WP mascara and I hoped that this mascara would be way better, considering the price was three times as much. Well...the verdict is still out on that. It's a good volumizing mascara, and it does add some length to my lashes. I like how black the color is, and it does not budge one bit. I'm not sure if I'll continue to purchase this on a regular basis, but I will certainly treat myself to it once in awhile when I'm sick of Voluminous. I do love how fat the brush is for this mascara, I get more coverage really quickly.
