i hadn't used this product in like... probably ten years, because it would only work for a couple of days and then my unprocessed coarse stick straight hair would be a dry, frizzy, kinky mess. then, on a whim, i bought the knock off from Suave, shampoo and conditioner duo. OMG, my hair LOVED it! it was beautiful, smooth, although, not quite as shiny or smooth as with the sleek.look line. i used it for a month straight, and then went out and bought the tub of the real deal. i used the real deal for about two weeks, and my hair became how it was when i used it back in the day. dry, rough, frizzy, and kinky, but now, with split ends. i thought maybe it was the difference in formula. nope. i switched back to Suave and there's no improvement. this stuff is a great conditioner, but i don't recommend it for long term use because it eventually dries your hair. and reading the review below, i have virgin hair. it's never been been colored, permed, or even ironed. edited to add: i hate the damned packaging! i already fumble with a bunch of jars. i hate that i have to fumble with another! continued >>

This is an awesome conditioner if you have virgin hair - no color, perm, highlights, or any other chemical treatment at all. It can give you great shine and healthy looking hair.
However, I don't think it has enough moisture for hair that's had any chemical processing done to it.

This was the worst conditioner I've purchased in a long time. Nothing that it did for my hair was even remotely conditioning. For some reason it did the opposite - dried my hair out, and my hair wasn't even really dry before I tried this product! I would never repurchase.

I think what made this conditioner work slightly for me was that fact that I used it right after a really drying shampoo (i.e. Biolage Hydrating Shampoo). It seemed to untangle the mess that the Hydrating shampoo created. Other than that, it didn't really make my hair shiny or untangle much. It smells great, but when my Aussie conditioner made my hair alot nicer for about a third of the price, it made me realize that it was totally NOT worth the money. I will not be repurchasing this.

I tried the Sally's generic version of this stuff. The ingredient list is exactly the same, so I figured that there would be very little difference between the two. Anyway, this seemed to be a mediocre conditioner. It made my hair feel soft, but I've found better drugstore products out there. Oh, and I tried the Sally's version of the shampoo too, but I absolutely hated it (my hair felt terrible after using it). Anyway, I wouldn't repurchase, just because other conditioners seem to work a lot better for me.

I miss this stuff. I haven't use it in a while because I stupidly thought I'd try something different, just for kicks. This stuff was great for me as either a deep-conditioner or an everyday conditioner. It's insanely thick and rich, smells good, and coats your hair thoroughly while you go about the rest of your shower business. It leaves the hair smooth and strong. Another thing I love about it is that I'm pretty sure there are no silicones in it, unless silicones can be hidden in ingredients that don't say 'cone' or 'conol' at the end.

This stuff just does not like my hair!! I'm normally a big fan of Biolage products but this stuff really sucks. It leaves my fine hair looking incredibly lacklustre and.....FRIZZY, heaven forbid - the number 1 carnal sin of all haircare products.

I tried this about 6-8 times and then even switched brands to see if I had suffered product build-up but when I went back to using the conditioning balm it just frizzed up again. DOH!

My hair is soft and shiny when i use this conditioner. I love it!

This product leaves my hair feelings so nice and soft. I like the smell too. You only have to use a little to cover the entire head because it is so concentrated. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. I hate opening something when I'm in the shower, I like to have things in a pump. I would buy this again.

Love this conditioner! It has done wonders on my hair that gets heat-styled (blow-dried and flat-ironed)everyday. It makes my thick, coarse, curly hair so soft and shiny. It rinses out well, too. I hate the price tag on it, but since it does a fantastic job keeping my hair healthy, I will continue to purchase over and over.
