I finally got an authentic foundation of this. To read about how a fake one is, look further down in the review.
.
My skin type is dry and quite sensitive. I don't really flake, but my skin can look tight with the wrong foundation. I have pretty good skin, but a few scars from old pimples, slightly red areas and sometimes blotchy skin.
.
I'm about a MAC NC15 right now, and have this foundation in 51, which is the lightest shade. The undertone is yellow, but still not quite yellow enough for my very light olive skin, and also a tiny bit too dark. If you really like this foundation, you can always fix the colour with some colour corrector (which of course, you can use to correct other foundations too). Here are some links:
.
Kett colour corrector:
http://camerareadycosmetics.com/products/kett-hydro-color-theory-collection.html
Coastal Scents colour corrector:
http://www.coastalscents.com/makeup/face-1/concealer/color-correctors.html
Other options are also Illamasqua's white foundations and Temptu's colour correctors. There's also MAC Face & Body in white, but I don't like its very watery consistency that sheers foundation out too much for my taste, and also, the smell is blah...
.
The coverage of this is light, but a bit buildable without getting cakey. Actually, both this foundation and the Serum Gel one looks better on me further out in the day - they get a smoother surface. This has a natural glowy finish on me. If you're looking for medium-heavy coverage, you're better off with something else. This looks natural BTW: girls that use foundation themselves (and don't look like they do) didn't think I wore foundation X) I really like a natural look!
.
I give this only a 4 because its not for my skin type. I think this foundation is more for people with normal skin. People with dry skin are better off with the Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation. I also have problems putting this over my moisturiser - it makes this streaky and slow-drying. I usually put my foundation on with my fingers, but for this one I need to use a beauty blender. Because this dries my skin out a little, I NEED a moisturiser. A beauty blender is the only way I can manage to actually put this over my moisturiser without the foundation sliding around. Although it's not for my skin type, I don't want to throw it if I can somehow use it. UPDATE: now I have normal skin and this looks better on me than the serum-gel foundation.
.
Neither this or the serum-gel foundation clog my pores, but this does break me out a little if I wear it for a couple of weeks, but the problem is solved quite easily just by using a different foundation for a little time. When I take this off before bed I don't see any accentuation of my redness or blotchiness. This does have perfume in it, which some people may not like.
.
This doesn't last on me as well as I'd like - the Serum Gel lasts longer. UPDATE: on normal skin, this lasts longer than the serum gel.
I suspect it's because this if more for a normal skin type. And also I think this would last longer without moisturiser under, but as said: I need it. To blot with a paper tissue can prolong wear time. To press some powder over it then dust excess off with a brush, may help too.
.
Would I recommend this? Yes. I you have normal skin that's yellow toned and you want a foundation that looks natural and you have pretty clear skin than needs no more than medium coverage: go for it! It's cheep compared with many other foundations and it has a nice finish. You really WILL look healthy! And: the Healthy Mix AND Serum Gel foundations are to me comparable with high end makeup... and I have a lot of it :]

HOW A FAKE BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION IS:
.
I spoke with a reviewer here that also got a fake foundation off ebay. It IS possible to get the real deal there, but you should ask the seller if it's authentic. If you find out that a product you bought isn't authentic, you should open a case through PayPal. It is really simple, but it means you HAVE TO use PayPal when you pay for your item!
.
My fake foundation:
- smelt like the type of non-toxic glue one has in kindergartens, while the real should smell something between raspberry/peach/litchi - nice, fruity smell
- the colour was kinda right, but it had a slightly greyish/too pink undertone - the real one isn't even a tiny bit greyish and clearly yellow
- you can screw the pump off - look out for this! It shouldn't be possible to open this foundation!! This is a sure sign of it being fake!
- had a very siliconey feel and didn't set - the real foundation isn't slippery. Some say it's like Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua in consistency, but I don't agree - it's not as slippery as VA
- I felt the fake one on my skin very well - the real one is much lighter, although some may be able to feel it. Then you may thy the Serum Gel one
- expiery dates are copied,so there's no point checking them. Site for checking expiration dates by batch code (on bottom of foundation, 4 digits): http://checkcosmetic.net/
- the packaging is very similar to the real one, so even if you have a real and fake standing side by side, you may not see any difference
.
BTW: I have had about 30 foundations till now and I have some reviews up for foundations, although there are many more to review. Click my use name, go to my reviews and choose "foundations" as category to sort them out :) Your're free to ask me questions if you want :]

Easy to use pump. This foundation smells so good! Even and natural coverage. Lasts all day for me (set with MAC MSFN). My favourite foundation I've tried so far. Widely available and always on offer ( check boots and super drug). Ive applied this product with my fingers, a stippling brush and a foundation brush and this product works well with any technique.

Love this product. I was first introduced to it by my friend Sara who reviewed it herself on her blog she was literally raving about it so I thought "Why not?" I went into my local boots and picked up shade 51. I was starting college and knew I wasn't wanting to look like I'd put too much effort so this is perfect! If you use a stippling brush it works wonders as well as adding a bit of powder to keep it in place. I'm at college for about 5-7 hours a day so I thought I'd put it to the test:
Pros:
- Light to medium coverage
- Build-able
- Good packaging
- My exact colour for my skin
-Doesn't look too 'put loads of foundation on' it looks natural
Cons:
- I would say I'd have to re-aply only once through out the day, just to touch up
Apart from that it's fine! Definitely buying it again!!

Pros:
-Very natural looking, you can't see it sitting on the skin
-The finish isn't too matte or too dewy
-Light to medium coverage
-Not too expensive
-Hygienic packaging- plastic bottle with a pump.
Cons:
-Gets shiny easily. I don't particularly have oily skin but after a few hours I feel my face a bit greasy, especially the forehead.
-The colours tend to be yellowy based. I couldn't find shade 51, i got shade 52 and it's a bit too yellow and dark for me (not a big problem when blended, but that makes it lose some of the coverage).
I don't think I'd buy it again, simply because the market has a wide variety of foundations to find my perfect match :)
I love this foundation. Since I'm very pale, it has always been hard for me to find a product that wouldn't make me look like I was trying to move into the Jersey Shore house. But then I found this! The lightest shade is pretty much exactly my skin color. I have very sensitive skin as well, and usually I only use high-end products to make sure it doesn't break out - Healthy Mix Foundation does agree with my skin. I also love the scent, it's very subtle and fruity.
The coverage is just right for me (I have relatively clear skin with a few spots that are prone to redness). The foundation is not particularly matting, though; you'll definitely have to set it with transculent powder. Once you've done that, it lasts and lasts and lasts!
I'd definitely buy this product again, but the drug store that stocked Bourjois Makeup recently dropped the brand from their product range. Boo! What a bunch of sh*tburgers! I stocked up on Healthy Mix Foundation, though.
I can definitely recommend it to everyone who doesn't want to spend a buttload of money on foundation - the quality is fantastic!

Pro's:
- Lovely natural finish
- Decent staying power
- It's my EXACT colour <3 (pale/light yellow toned - quite hard to come by)
- The scent is nice (apricots)
- 1 word: PUMP!
Cons:
- Light-ish coverage, but can be layered I suppose...
- The scent can be very irritating on sensitive skin, acne and near the eye area
- A little does NOT go a long way - I need 1.5 - 2 pumps to get nice coverage
ALAS, I will be stocking up on this stuff from online cause' the price is phenomenal and it's my exact colour, can't complain too much... for now it's my HG foundation :)

I am really really impressed with this foundation. I love the finish, which is not too matte but not greasy, very very natural. it covers up redness nicely and just makes your skin look so much better. I will repurchase this again and again. The smell is also quite pleasant. I have 51 which is the palest and it suits my skin really nicely. The coverage is medium, I only need a little concealer on my cheeks to cover up my freckles a bit more. Love it! So glad I decided to try :) It is better than anything I've tried, and although it isn't dirt cheap It's really affordable compared to others out there. I'm going to buy it in a darker shade for Summer.

Its pretty much the best foundation i have ever used. I initially wanted this because I saw Lisa Eldridge use this in some of her videos. After reading the great reviews I decided to get it and use it as my everyday "not so important" days foundation.
I used to use the MUFE HD foundation which i liked, but after applying this for the first time it was clear to me that I never ever wanted to be without this anymore. It beautifies the skin, makes it look its best. I can honestly recommend this to anyone. Coverage wise I would say that it is definitely medium on me. I apply it with a flat chanel foundation brush (just getting it on my skin, not worrying much about blending) and then blend the edges with a fluffy brush. If youre thinking about getting this, do it! I am NW20 and use 52, its a little yellow but nothing bad, it cancels out my red skin nicely.

I was really excited to try this foundation, but now I have a love/hate relationship with it.
Pros: the price is great and very reasonable. The packaging is convenient and great for traveling. Another thing I like about it is the staying power, although it does start to disappear, look patchy and oxidize at the end of the day, but my skin is very oily and it's understandable. The coverage is also great, medium, but buildable and the finish is very natural.
Cons: it accentuates any dryness I have and I have a problem with the color range. I am not particularly fair, but the lightest shade available is a little bit too dark and too yellow.
Conclusion: nice foundation, but because of the poor color range I wouldn't repurchase.

I don't recommend this foundation for anyone who is acne prone. It tends to give me little whiteheads on my cheeks. I'm thinking this foundation is probably not oil free.
However for those who have non problematic skin it really is a nice foundation. Great medium coverage, lovely satin finish. The only thing that bothers me (besides the breakouts) is that blush doesn't seem to transfer or sit well on it.
