I hated this at first, thinking there was no differeance when I used it and put it away for a long while. But then I started thinking of all the things I wanted in make up cause at 25 I am getting that "inbetween skin" where it definately needs something, but I hate the look of heavy makeup. I also wanted something with an SPF. I tried it again after I realized it fits the bill, and now I use it all the time. It sops up the greasies for about 6 or 7 hours. LOVE THIS! I am stocking up now.

This is a brilliant product and a fantastic substitute for Philosophy's Supernatural Poreless Flawless SPF 15, another great product which I had been faithfully using. Unlike Philosophy's Supernatural, this is tint-free. (I find I can make my face look peachy coloured if I apply too much Supernatural, which is surprisingly easy to do.) The added SPF 20 is a wonderful bonus! Avon boasts shine-free effects which last for up to 10 hours, which is a huge exaggeration: it's more like up to 4 hours (for me, anyways). The end results (which are superb!) are the same I get with Supernatural, but this is way cheaper. It's especially good value if you can get it when it goes on sale from time to time.

Overall I love this! Great that it has SPF 20 and is not at all oily. I put my moisturizer on first then this and then my foundation. Works fabulously. I have regularly/combo skin - not really oily at all, only occasionally with periodic breakouts here and there. Leaves a nice finish. I even bought a backup. I recommend this, especially for people with my skin type.

Used sparingly this leaves a nice translucent matte finish to my skin. I'll use it if I really want a neat and tidy matte no makeup day. I put too much on recently and had to wash it off because when I stroked my face I could feel it streaking. I forgot to say that I don't use it as a prefoundation primer, just use it alone.

I have very oily skin (usually shiny within 2 hours of applying foundation/powder) but this product does a great job of keeping the shine away.
The silky consistency makes your skin feel very soft and it creates a smooth canvas for your foundation.
This product works far better for me than the pricier versions sold in department stores. I will be stocking up on this!

I got this from my sister-in-law. I have super oily skin that gets shiny almost immediately. I tried this Magix and I am amazed at how it keeps the shine away pretty much all day. Unlike other people, I still feel like my face is just as oily, but it just doesn't look it. I still have to use blotting sheets to absorb the oil (not because my face looks oily), because I dont like my face feeling oily.

As far as making pores look smaller, etc, I don't really see a difference. But, it certainly takes away the shine and that makes a huge difference for me. The only negative is that it leaves a weird greasy kind of feeling on my skin.

I really like this stuff. It makes my skin much less oily, although I still have to blot (but way less often). I usually just wear this without any makeup, so I can't say how it affects makeup.

Excellent primer! This makes my pores look smaller and my make up stay all day.

I really like to use this as a foundation primer. It provides a smooth matte finish for you to apply your foundation on top of. It can be used alone too. There is a strong perfumed smell to this that i can just about tolerate (I took a point off for this. I would most definitely prefer a fragrance free version.)

Avon MagiX Face Perfector is the BEST primer I've ever used. This product makes my face appear flawless! I love this product and sometimes will use it on non-makeup days to help keep my face matte. I have extremely oily skin and am prone to breakouts on my chin, but this product really seems to help keep the oil away. It doesn't seem to break me out either. I love this and don't know what I would do without it. It's velvety smooth and a great price. I think it's usually about 10 dollars, but can find it on special and purchase then. I think mine was about 7 dollars. It will last as well. Doesn't take much! The SPF is also nice!
