I like this mascara, I am not wow'd by it though. I like that it only takes me one coat of this to achieve the look I like, whereas it takes 2-3 coats of my CG LashBlast. My pet peeve of this mascara is that the first INKLING of a tear in the eye, this mascara packs its bags and RUNS LIKE CRAZY! haha! I went to dinner with a friend and got tickled telling a story and laughed so hard I cried, and I looked like someone had told me my best friend had died! THAT BAD! I barely even cried, yet, it seemed like ALL of the mascara ran off of my face. NOT COOL!! I will probably go back to my CG LashBlast (you just cant go wrong with that mascara!), but for now I will finish this tube up, as I paid 14.50 for it.

I received a sample of this. It defined my lashes and added really nice volume, but it didn't hold my curl at all. (I have sparse, straight Asian eyelashes, btw.)

This is my all time favourite mascara. I am always on a lookout for a better one, but I haven't found one that works better for me. It is very delicate and gives me just the right length and thickness that you may want for everyday use. The wand is super easy in application of the mascara - you can easily get to the corners of your eyes without any smudges. It lasts all day untill you decide to take it off and then you only need a cotton pad and some warm water. If it is a dramatic look I am after I would not use this mascara and will go with some falsies instead.

This mascara was a good everyday mascara. It gave nice volume without it being too dramatic looking and a bit of length. Also, I found that it didn't clump at all. The only complaint I have is (like most Clinique mascaras I've tried) this didn't hold my curl at all ... I do have stubborn asian lashes though :/ In my opinion, there are cheaper and better alternatives out there.

I can be very short on this one. This is truly my HG mascara.
I´ve tried them all... high and low end...YSL, Dior, Chanel, Lancome, MAC, Max Factor, Cover Girl etc. but none of them compare to HI mascara.
Gives great length and volume with no clumps no matter how many layers I apply (but technically I´m a one layer girl). Fool proof, and it doesn´t dry out very fast. There is just nothing wrong with this one.
I do love Clinique mascaras in general but this one is the best!

Great Mascara! Reasonable price. Better to curl eyelashes first before using. Creates good volume, length and thickness and holds curl. Found that when first using, the mascara clumps eyelashes from the wand being drenched in the mascara, however once this goes away, creates the perfect eyelashes for daywear.

Love this mascara! I got a sample size with my gift with purchase and I absolutely love it. The brush is nice and fluffy and makes my lashes look long and full. No matter how much I apply my lashes stay soft (do not get crusty) and it never clumps. The color is a very nice black and I haven't had any issues with smudging yet. I will definitely purchase when my sample runs out.

It smudged half-way through the day and was mostly gone by the end of the day. I'd chalk that up to our massive heat and humidity, but Clinique's bottom-lash mascara does not do that. I tried it the next day with a primer---that helped with the smudging issues but made it hard to work with and very clumpy. I'll be returning it as I'd rather sleep in a few extra minutes rather than work with a fussy mascara.

A good daywear mascara IMHO. Doesn't clump, nice formula, excellent brush, no flaking or transfering during the day. However it does not give a 'high impact' on my lashes, so although it is pretty good I will not buy it. I used a sample size.
EDIT: I used the sample after I gave birth to my daughter during my maternity period and it really turned out to be a HG mascara! It has excellent staying power, but washes off under the shower without leaving black marks all over my face. It even stayed put during my many naps :). As soon as I finish all my other mascara's I will buy the full size ;)

With one application, it looks great and natural, but just not enough for my Asian lashes. After the second coat, though, it became clumpy. It flakes a little throughout the day, too.
